Good evening paul .Great video once again .pity there wasn't any fish ,not even the great word whiting .but as always a good comical show few grins as always .yes I agree with ya on the line on the beach .be even better when the drone goes up .ok thanks once again paul .stay safe best regards Steve
Hi Steve one of those days and as you state not even a whiting or two as you state. Thanks for bothering to watch and comment really appreciate it cheers Paul and stay safe chsp
Oh well,as others have said, got to be in it to win it ! Love the drone footage,I agree with you that it adds a different dimension too.I know it's easy to get disheartened, but as you also said you catch nothing sat indoors, although the beer sounded appealing !!
Brilliant comment and will keep at the drone practicing as am an old bloke learning new tricks. There is always next time and how many times have I said that through many years of fishing. Next time will be this Saturday as wind Westerly so fingers crossed 🤞 thanks for the support makes it worthwhile cheers Paul
Hi Mr 🌙 moonman big thanks for watching and fishing can be really frustrating at times but I suppose that’s why we do it. There is always that thought in my head it could be you, until the next time cheers and tight lines Paul
Hi Mr moonman thanks for taking the time to comment and fishing is a really contrary sport but that I why We all do it. There is the you never know element to it and you got to be in it to stand any chance of getting the fish of the year or lifetime. Here’s hoping tight lines Paul
oh dear, oh dear, that poor Abu 7000 sounded like it was full of dried salt, not smooth at all matey. I owned a few of them in my time and loved using them. Anyway, well done for sticking it out, next time bring your trunks and join the women :-)
Hi Richard , I think it sounded more like pebbles even though I stripped the bloody thing down. I see now why technology moves on but wanted to give it a go. Your right about bringing my trunks and joining the women probably would have had a more memorable day rather than a big blank. Bloody frustrating but I have to keep reminding myself it’s fishing and never goes to plan cheers for watching and the comments that made me laugh 😆 have a good evening Paul
Great video Paul learning a lot from you we were at Buckles for the weekend 9 whiting Friday evening 4-7 o:clock after we arrived blank on Saturday and Sunday
Hi Reg thanks for the comments and makes me feel a lot better that there are others out there who also have the dreaded blanks. Great that you took the time to watch makes an old bloke happy. Am of to work now but will hopefully get out Saturday although where is dependent on wind direction cheers Paul
Was strangely just talking to my wife about the very same subject. In her words do not know why you do it, maybe you should try at night. Will fish at night but work and family/Christmas dependent makes it sometimes difficult but am aiming to have a crack later in year once it has got a bit more colder and maybe in with a chance of a codling or likely not. But as fishermen we live in hope. Brilliant you take the time to watch and if you are local to Seaford might see each other on the beach. Wife making me watch military wives... cannot give her a hard time as she cooked a great stew cheers Paul
Unlucky, but nice to be out no doubt. You've said in past videos you'll try the Isle of Grain, it's been fishing well there lately. I'm going Saturday night, hoping for some flounder! Tight lines.
Hi big thanks for watching my videos and yes fishing is really frustrating on occasions but then the memorable moment comes along and it all gets forgotten. I need to check out Isle of Grain and would be great to hear how you get on. Cheers Paul and hope you catch a few.
Hi CJ thanks for the sub much appreciated and would be ace to meet on the beach. Started fishing all those years ago with my Uncle/ stepdad at St Leonard’s and miss him and his words of wisdom. He used to sit on the beach smoking a pipe and drinking meat whiskey. Thanks for the positive about the video and will keep at it cheers Paul
Hi Rob thanks for the sub really appreciate it and the great positive comment. I am obsessed about fishing and drives my wife mad. Try and communicate the real side of fishing as you would understand long hours and then the reward of that memorable fish. Am just getting ready to go out again fishing and off to Pevensey at this uncivilised hour. Cheers Paul
Hi Karl, makes me very happy that you watch my videos and bother to comment. Bloody frustrating as had been really looking forward to going and a combination of sh.. weather and being at work. Am back to work tomorrow and out again this weekend, wind in the west and probably go to the thames estuary. Fishing is a contrary sport and I do wonder why I do it sometimes, but it is in my blood. Thanks mate for the support and tight lines Cheers 😀😀Paul
I always wanted a ABU700 as a kid but couldn't afford it. So when i got older i bought one but to be honest sometimes a multiplier can be hard work on a day when you want to relax. so i stick to fixed spool most of the time.
Hi Phil now sitting at work and about to have a zoom meeting who would have thought 20 years ago we would be using all this technology hey ho. When young always wanted an Abu 7000 and saved my money to buy and eventually got two and loaded up with 20lb line with no shock leaders. Went down the beach all cock a hoop tackled up and cast first reel, enormous crack and then massive birds nest. Should have learned but cast second reel same problem. Ruined my trip, I then got lessons from another angler and multipliers are the devils work so understand why people use fixed spool and I use both and have to say matched with continental rod a fixed spool casts like a dream. Even now I still get the odd birds nest if I am not focussed cheers Paul
@@philemmett3122 really good idea, my wife works from home and I am part of skeleton crew at work as most are working from home but soon all of the staff will be back at work fingers crossed. Dreaming of fishing but not to too long now👍👍

You gotta be in it to win it buddy, I have to say I’ve always fished at night down that end of Seaford and it’s much better than day fishing I find.
