- I've decided I need a new bike.
It is not something to replace the Tenere 700, but something to complement it.
Come on this journey with me, and let's work out which is better, the Triumph Speed Triple or the Triumph Street Triple.

Hey, you probably already know this after listening back to the audio but you really need to adjust the gating on your mic for these vids as it's a painful watch/listen when the mic keeps cutting audio when you're not speaking. We want to hear the engine when getting on it etc. The wind noise isn't too bad. Good content apart from that.
Get the Street Triple. That'll be my next move after my current Trident 660. Chur
Thanks. Yep, the noise cancellation setting on the Cardo was set too aggressively. Appreciate you commenting. I thought long and hard about whether to post this video, but as I couldn’t go back and re-record I went with it. Hopefully I have it sorted moving forward. 👍
The street is an amazing bike. I had one for three years. I traded it in for a speed recently and I agree it’s way too fast for the road… but that’s what I love about it. Overtakes at any speed are a breeze and you don’t have to worry about what gear you’re in. Oh, and you can use all the Rev range if you want, just make sure you hang on tight and are on a nice quiet country road. It’s an amazing bike. No regrets in swapping the street for it. You can’t go wrong with either!
Street all the way for the road. Had mine 2 years and don`t need another bike.
If the tiger lineup is anything to go by the street triple would be a blast
I'm 6'4" / 193 cm and daily a BMW R1250RS, so that's what I'm used to. I also ride above the speed limit as much as I can get away with. So my vote would be for the Speed for me, but clearly for you, the Street.
Thanks for your comment. Appreciate your input! 👍
Speed Triple RS 1200 would be my ride
Street, got a 2018 Fireblade that just lives at he track now at road speeds it was just idling
Thanks for your message. Appreciate your input! 👍
If you like a lazy engine speed, if you like to thrash a small one street and vice versa these bikes both do either but the big one takes less effort on the fast stuff, the street less effort on the tight stuff, thing is you can’t go much above 90mph on a naked for any length of time anyway.!! But the extra grunt is nice, it’s a quandary, Have you tried a new Hayabusa..??? That adds another twist to your dilemma, smooth, very fast supple, a bit heavy but another great road bike.😱😱😱😱
thanks,
no havent ridden a Hayabusa, would be interested to ride one, but not my think so dont want to own one.
Speed triple as there very less content about them out there 😅
Street
Unwatchable
nothing wrong with the pictures... hahaha
the audio on the other hand was a bit shit...
learn how to ride first for these triumphs - go to track lessons practice- its not bike to be a beginner. cheers
