My name is Rod Jones. I'm a 5th generation farmer and KC-135 pilot in the Ohio Air National Guard.
I was Active Duty Air Force for 16 years and have been with the Ohio Air National Guard for 4 years.

I only held up the days' events a couple times rigging my gear up.
When we did have cows and drove them from one farm to the next they had to cross a RR Those shining rails sometimes caused a real zoo. Also every once in awhile a critter would step on a can It would clamp around their foot then we would really have a fun filled time. 😮😮

I love southern Ohio. Great perspective of farm life. Beautiful country. My daughter and her family live near Lancaster in a rural area. Always nice to visit and then go into the Hocking Hills. Thanks for a great video.

I honestly found this video very interesting and entertaining too. This may seem like a really dumb question but I'm a city boy. What was the stuff that you put on their spine out of the white bottle? I'm glad that you got it all done and nobody got hurt. That Ron handles the cattle like a boss👍😆 The videos are much appreciated. Thanks for bringing us along and Merry Christmas to you and your family. By the way I totally understand why you said that this was very dangerous. When those animals decide they don't want to cooperate they don't.
Thanks for the comment and question! The stuff in the white bottle is called Eprinex. It is absorbed through the skin and controls a variety of parasites to include worms, ticks, mites, and other things.
You could think of it as similar to the stuff you might put on your dog or cat to protect it from fleas.

It is a de-wormer that is absorbed through the skin.

I didn't mean to come across with an attitude! I just know that most people who watch the channel prob watch it for the flying content. I respect people's time, so I didn't want people to watch the video expecting to see some flying.
Cows may look stupid, but they can be fairly intelligent!

I agree working cattle is the worst job. Even tame cattle act stupid when in the pen.
I enjoy working cattle, but there is always some risk involved.
