this is my favourite TH-cam video no joke. I have struggled with scoliosis. Each month I did x-rays for about 5 months and it kept getting worse. To a point which I was going to put a corse on! I had 20 degrees of curve ness and when you reached 21 it meant they had to put it. So basically I was in the limit. I was then very scared and searched many yt videos until I found this one. I did the exercises about 1 time per week for about 2 months. I can’t even explain how thankful I am seriously! I did and x-ray again, this was the one how would determine if I would wear a corse or not! My spine was practically perfect! From 20 degrees to 6! In only a couple of months. I couldn’t believe it. Thank you so much seriously💛💛
At age 63 I was diagnosed with scoliosis. I started doing these exercises a year ago. After one month, I started forgetting to take pain pills! I am completely off opioid pain medicine now. Jessica, you have changed my life and I am forever grateful.
Thank you for optimisam. Cause I am 40, pain started when I was around 30-28 cause I lost 10-12kg in just month. Since I was in muscle, already fit, Ex sportwoman, that literraly killed my muscle tonus. From 56-57kg to 45kg. Since than I have pains, tried exercies, but just dont feel good like I was in full condition. Preasure on my spine very painfull. Neck, shoulder... 😪😪😪
@biglyp1299 i had surgery for it 3 days before my 13th birthday if its over 40°c or close to reaching that i think you should consider surgery before it becomes more risky when you grow up or see if a brace is more suitable
My Doctor diagnosed me with a minor scoliosis, and with no health insurance, my doctor said I would have to pay for physio, thankfully I searched the internet found this video and my pain has significantly decreased to the point that it does not interfere with my life. Took me a few tries to get all the moves down properly (i am seriously not flexible) but now they are part of my regular routine. I cannot thank you enough!!!!!
I got diagnosed with scoliosis in 5th grade. I had two curves the biggest being 35 degrees. I had to wear a brace 18 hours a day for 2 years eventually wearing it every single day to bed for another year and a half. I had to wear that stupid, hot, painful, uncomfortable brace for 3 1/2 years. Yesterday I finally got told I’m done growing and I never need to wear a brace again. My curves stayed stable and never got worst! I’ve never had back pain and hope I don’t in the future but man am I happy I’m done with the back brace! If you’re reading this and you just got or have a back brace know you’re not alone and it will all be worth it when it’s over! Stay strong guys!
I just want to thank you. I have been doing the routine for 7 years now after I had my first child and my back worsened. I love this routine and I used to hate all forms of exercise. Growing up with scoliosis I was told conflicting things about whats good for scoliosis- no pilates, yes pilates, no swimming, yes swimming. In the end ANY form of exercise is better than none. Thanks to this video, little by little I formed better habits, I am still not competing at the Olympics, but I do this routine consistently, I know it word for word, and then I eased into reformer Pilates, Yoga, gym, and even basketball. Not religiously, but I get a fair share of exercise. Thank you, you literally changed my life.
if you’re just stumbling past this video, and you have scoliosis like me, and you’re past the age where you can get a brace, so around 16+, then don’t give up hope. While these exercises may not realign your back, you will definitely notice an increase in mobility and a decrease in discomfort. It’s just 17minutes of your day to feel better and possible see improvement in your curve. I’m 17 and have a relatively mild curve, but it bothered me and made me feel lopsided, and I want to try my best to avoid having to get back surgery in the future. What I’m getting is that this is totally worth your time, please try these exercises or other exercises. Just please don’t do nothing about it. I feel much better and more mobile after doing these exercises, and i’m sure if i do these in combination with other exercises and stretches, I will see improvements in my curve. Consistency is key
Have been doing these exercises for over 7 months now. I took a photo of my back before I started doing them and another one just recently. Wow. Such a huge difference- has definitely leveled out my back and created more symmetry. This video has changed my life! Thank you.
@@sowaibamohammed1447 you should def try doing this everyday 1st thing in the morning, before or after working out, or even when you're about to shower or sleep! I usually do these stretches 1st thing in the morning before going to school and it has helped me feel better! though of course you wont be able to see the results in only a few weeks, you should do it consistently and surely you'll feel a lot better than when you're about to start, doing it once a day is already enough for your body, goodluckk
These exercises worked for me. My story is long but I felt I need to share it to the new ones clicking on the video. I had been dealing with scoliosis since the age of 12 due to a back injury. My doctor gave me exercises to strengthen and align my back. I followed them for over a year but felt no improvement whatsoever. I still had terrible pain, even turning my back slightly was painful. I would crouch on the floor not knowing what to do. To be honest, I gave up on the exercises and on my doctor and began doing my own stretches once in a while (not smart of me). Later, at 17 yrs of age, it got worse and was told that I should take medication or pain injections for my back. But I couldn’t do it because of the terrible side effects and after effects. I needed help, but not this kind. I went online looking for scoliosis exercise videos and came across this TH-cam video. I gave it a shot for a month and felt great improvements on my spine. For the first time, I cracked my back and it was amazing! So I continued for 6 months and I no longer had the constant pain. Now I was able to follow this video along with other somewhat intense workouts. Two years later of following this video, I had no more back pain. I went to my doctor and had her run an ex ray of my back and as it turns out, I no longer have scoliosis. Today, five years later, I am still persistent with my exercise and I feel so strong. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart ❤️ I understand that there are different kinds of scoliosis and different levels of scoliosis. The process is slow but the benefits are great. Even if your scoliosis doesn’t go away, Stretches and moderate twisting on the spine will help with some of the back pain and most likely align, stop or slow down the curving of the spine. I highly suggest this video. Thank you ✌🏻
@@charlotte_Dino it's not that much, unfortunately i went to doctors and they told me this is something psychological and doctors here in my country only have certificates they don't have knowledge at all, so basically i don't know the exact curve but my right shoulder lower than left and this shows itself much better while walking.
I really recommend this video! I was diagnosed with scoliosis since i was 10 and the doctor told my parents that I should have a surgery because of how bad it was but my parents was against it because of the risk. So i went to different theraphy my whole life and it never have helped much. I am now 25 and i tried doing this exercise for only 4 months and ive seen results and now going on to 7 months and my back has never been straighter lol. No joke though. It really works!!! I havent got xray but its visually recognizable. Yes it is that good! Thank you so so much Jessica!
wow. In that case I'll stick with this video! Thanks for your feedback. My curve is very visible and I'm trying to straighten my back and get more flexible.
Thank you! I was looking for someone else who had had it since childhood to see how it worked for them. I was also diagnosed at 10, but my case is very mild, so surgery was not recommended. As I'm getting older though, it's causing me more pain, so I need to do something about it and I'm definitely going to try this!
i recently turned 15 and ive been diagnosed with scoliosis for years, right now im trying to start modeling and want to become taller, im currently 170 cm and my goal is 173, ill start doing this and will update! 16oct 2024: 170 cm
I was diagnosed with scoliosis as a 13 year old in 1995 and had slight back pain. I did many of the same exercises in this video as taught by my physical therapist, within a year my back was straighten and back pain was gone! I did the exercises until 18. I decided to look up the scoliosis exercises again because of slight back pain in the lower area. Thank you for this great video!
People of all ages, including some in their 60s, have commented here that they had improvements from this, so it can work at any age. I think the key is doing it consistently, and giving it several months to see results. I feel much better every time I do this, and will try to do it 3x a week.
Jessica, thank you, thank you thank you. After having done this video for a couple of years, almost every day, I went for a bone density scan the other day. I have a moderate curvature in the upper back. The bone density showed my hip and spine improved. You are so right - consistency is the key. I do 5 - 7 times a week. Thanks again! By the way, I am 63 years young.
Jessica your a life saver!! I've always been insecure about my scoliosis and i gave up on exercising because i keep telling myself that "your never going to get it back by its original form". but one day i had the motive to try and do some effort after searching and searching none of them works because i was too impatient. After looking up my old celebrity idol i saw that she was also suffering from scoliosis and did Pilates after searching " Pilates for scoliosis i hit the jack pot!! I found your video and after a few weeks i can see it improving! Thank you Jessica!!

as a 15yo person who suffers from severe scoliosis (scoliosis in S, 65° degrees) and will maybe have a surgery next month i decided to make my back a little more "elastic" and continue to move it since my doctor asked me to keep moving, im kinda lucky for still being flexible and i know ill suffer during and after surgery but i know if i keep doing exercises it will help me in the future. you are not alone, we can do this.
I am 12 and I have scoliosis and I found out about it 2 years ago , the first doctor I went to really wanted to do a surgery but it was too early , my scoliosis is not very bad , I went to another doctor and helped me under stand more , I am so close to 40on the curve of my spine , but this doctor is not rushing for the surgery. I recently started following this video , my doctor says exercise won’t do any thing . But I have hope that I can get better before my next appointment. I can feel some difference when I am wearing my brace after following this video for a about a week or more . Wish me luck😊
update: hiiiiii i am 14 now i did my surgery in august of 2023 and I am fully recovered, my body is a bit different but I will fix it with gym and exercise (I am having a glowup to regain my confidence), if you have questions I would love to answer :) ok byyye
Thank you Jessica. I am 70 years old, with degenerative scoliosis. I've just been receiving Bowen Therapy treatment for hip bursitis, which was exacerbating the pain from my lumbar scoliosis. The therapist gave me some simple exercises, which have helped enormously, but I'm also doing some of the ones in this video. My elderly body is not as supple, so I've taken it easy & I can certainly feel the benefit.
i have scoliosis diagnosed 2 years ago but only now am i doing exercises for it so i will make sure to stay consistent and update you on my pain after the exercise and if i feel as if my scoliosis got better 1. day - did the exercise it wasn't really painful but my back feels overall better than yesterday (i forgot to add that i have scoliosis on my right side and after these exercises my right side was more flexible) 2. day - did both the exercises in this video and exercises in the other video for scoliosis with the same creator and i have to say my back is more relaxed, but because i did both videos my wrists hurt a little when i move them, but overall im happy 3. day - i didnt do any exercises because my hips were hurting from going on a long walk 4. day - since i didnt do any exercises yesterday i decided to do both exercises in the morning and at night, in the morning i was a little stiff since i just woke up ....
I have been doing part one and two by memory 5 times a week for the last 5 weeks, this begins the sixth week. Once a week I use the videos as a refresher to correct any mistakes I'm making in form. My wife, who had me get evaluated by a doctor for scolosis, commented a few days ago that I'm standing straighter and more even now. I'm in my late 60s, but am still flexible enough to do these (and this helps keep that flexibility). So again, thanks for these videos. I find doing this at home is more enjoyable then going somewhere for physical therapy (my doctors okay with this).
I have been doing this video exercise for about 4 days now and I am seeing so much more strength in my back bone. I ususally wear a brace and now I have been doing with out. Thank you so much for sharing your wisdom with us.
Omg I've been suffering with scoliosis for a year now and decided to add exercises to my massages and chiropractic visits and after doing this today I can definitely tell a difference when doing the stretches at the end of the video. Thanks sooo much!!!
I'm 14 and I was diagnosed with idiopathic scoliosis when I was 11 (one curve was 36° and the other curve was around 40°). Back then, I didn't have the motivation to do any exercises nor to properly wear my back brace. Now, I'm being motivated to keep myself fit and healthy by my newfound love and boyfriend and then I found this video. I've never been more motivated in my life and my back is starting to feel a bit looser and longer everyday. Thank you for sharing these exercises, they're a huge help.
Not sure if i still have scoliosis (Used to have very mild scoliosis that decreased over time) but i have an appointment within this month. So ill do these everyday and update later, im still growing so i must reverse my curve as much as i can. Update: i went from hospital today my doctor said i no longer have scoliosis!! I only did those exercises whole time so if you have mild/moderate scoliosis please do exercises they will and do work!!! My bones will finish groving approximately 2 to 3 years and my degree is currently 5° :)
Hi im 14 i also have mild scoliosis and have an appointment this month😆 i found this vid like one month ago and im really hoping its helping! Im waiting for ur update, and hope that we will both arrive back from the appointment with good news😊
@@nikolettaszilagyi7416 im also 14 too and ill be sure to update after i come back from hospital i am trying to do it everyday without skipping i hope its going to work for us. Wishing you good luck :)
@@nikolettaszilagyi7416 yay i am happy to hear this, i believe that you can reverse it completely. :) i havent go to hospital but i need to go there within the end of september
Thank you for this. I am a weight lifted/bodybuilder but I also work on the computer a lot. Developed scoliosis and my lower right side of my back caves in so my body leans more to the right. So I have been trying to do my own stretches and exercises to help but to no avail. I came across your video and have been doing this for a week and this made a huge difference. Their is no constant tension anymore and I am able to lift heavier like I used to.
At the age of twelve (46 now), I was told I had scoliosis and I curve to the left. As of recent, I noticed that I hurt more. I workout and stretch but having specific exercises for scoliosis is very helpful. I am more aware of my posture and lean, in this, I make sure to correct both. So, I am grateful to have found your channel. Thank you.

Oh my god! Jessica you are really my saviour. My scoliosis has lead to sciatica pain until it affect my sleep, as I'm too lazy to exercise. The muscle of my low back, hip and behind my legs are so tight and sore every single minute. Once I practice this Pilates, my whole body does not feel pain and sore anymore. THIS IS SO MAGICAL!!!
These exercises are amazing! I've been doing them for a week now, and they feel so pleasant. I can feel every single bone cracking in relief. Soooo satisfying. Thank you for sharing this. Also, your voice is deep and soothin. It reminds me of Selena Gomez's
Hey I am 16 from Austria/Germany I have scoliosis since I am a kid. Around 12 degrees. I started to do this workout every day and this helps me so much. It helps me to see that I'm not alone in this. So hope u have a Great day :)
@@sara4955 well i cant say it worked only because i did this. I got mild scoliosis and start doing yoga. Its better to avoid extreme bending of your back. For me, yoga works! And make my scoliosis better. My scoliosis is around 15 degrees fyi. If you got more than me then maybe you should consult your doctor
I have been watching your videos everyday this week and plan to implement this into my morning routine. After one morning of doing 2 of your scoliosis pilates videos, my friend said I looked taller! This is especially crucial now and I am so grateful to have your videos during this period of staying at home. Thank you!!
I've been wearing a back brace for around 3yrs now and in my recent appointment I got told i no longer need to wear it. I was just told to do lots of core and back exercises. This video is such a help! Especially when one side of my back is feeling tense, it kind of evens your back out and loosens you out.
I'm almost 50 with a double curve backwards s...Im thankful these videos are available. I do wish they would have pushed and encouraged more stretching in my teen years when I was diagnosed and braced. Thank you for your time.
Thank you so so much for these videos. I have had a scoliosis for 22 years and recently it's been very painful. I cant tell you how important your videos are for those with scoliosis. It is so hard to find people with the correct knowledge to help. THANK YOU you are doing such a wonderful thing. These exercises are SO important for spine mobility which, over the past couple of years, I've realised is oh so important for those wish scoliosis. ❤
I've been having a lot of back pain due to my scoliosis and doing the exercises in this video for the first time, I feel a lot better with a lot of tension released.
Ever since i found out that i had scoliosis ive been really scared .. They said my degree was not bad .. But that it can get worse and im so scared because I don't want surgery ... Last week my back started feeling different .. And i wasnt sure what it was but when i went on this video and did these stretches it helped me .. Alot thank you so much ❤️
im 15, and i have moderate scoliosis and this is a really good way to have someone tell me how and what to do. My back felt so much better after I did this!! I'm going to continue for sure
I cannot thank you enough. This week i have done 3 of your videos - beginner 1&2 and this one. You solved the lower back pain ive had for at least 6 mths in 3 short sessions. This pain is the result of scoliosis and wasnt relieved by either a chiro or osteo. I'd turn from side to tummy to side to back to side, doing circles all night long and wake up in a lot of pain. I havent slept so well in months. Thank you 🙌
Thanks Jessica. I have just completed 5 days of the first video for scoliosis. I'm 74 and finding you are going too fast for me to get into position. It's a long time since I sat cross legged! Not so sore today in the muscles so something is definately happening and I'm glas I found you.
I soooo love this video and this help me a lot with my dextroscoliosis. I have a very mild scoliosis but have greatly cause pain on a daily basis. I get migraine often as well as pain on my trapezoid muscles but after a week of this exercise on an every other day basis this helped me a lot!!!!!! Even my husband who usually give me a back massage said that whenever he traced my spine it's not like before that the curve of my spine is very obvious. Now, he can't even tell where the curve was. Thank you so much for this video Jessica :D
Thank you Jessica! Everytime I do these exercises, I can't believe how fast the session passes. It's so pleasant, and most importantly, I feel my scoliosis is improving.
Thank you so much for this video!! I have scoliosis and this week my back pain was killing me. Doing these exercises every morning has almost completely gotten rid of the pain in just three days. Keep up the great work :)
I have about a 50+° S curve and this is my first time watching this video, but I feel like the exercises have already worked wonders. Thank you Jessica you are a godsend, and can't wait to see where this takes me because I will be incorporating this into my daily routine!
Thank you so much for this. I had idiopathic scoliosis as a kid and had a spinal fusion at the age of eleven. Eight years later, I am having extreme pain in my spine and have a slight curvature that has returned. Your videos have helped ease my pain majorly. For the first time in months, I've been able to walk without limping and get out of bed without any pain. I really appreciate your work.
It's been about 6 months since I started doing this I do this exercise about 3-6 times every week depending on the week. And it 100% helped. I have a shoulder drop and hip hike cause 1 side is extremely tight cause due to my scoliosis my spine caused me to always tilt to my right side the last 19 years of my life. I'm currently 20 and been doing this and noticed a lot of improvement my right side isn't tight basically at all anymore and my hips actually feel strong and look even. My shoulder drop is still there but Its improved slightly. And I don't feel paint in my back anymore. But I also do about 4 more stretches with this 1 to improve more of my muscles. I also stopped using weights and now only do band workouts and body weight workouts. I also strictly try to sleep on my back for better posture and I try to always sit straight.
Could you give me some advises how to sit and how to sleep because bad positions are also making our workeouts not giving the best results Also please make a video of exercises we can do at office
I've been doing these every day for a couple of weeks since suffering from a back spasm and having my doctor tell me I have scoliosis. It has really helped a lot. Thanks very much!
This exercise is really helpful and easy to do. It's important that an exercise is easy for me because if an exercise is hard to do it's not sustainable for me. I did x-rays and do this exercise every day. About 3 weeks later i did x-ray again and you should see the results. X-rays were for another sickness but when i look my spine......Just... WOW..... I'm starting this again for scoliosis and kyphosis!!!!! Thank you jessica
I have it since I was 13 now I’m almost 23 it’s frusturating having it with all the back pains everyday but after watching your video I have I hope one day I could fix my back without surgery ❤️
Tq it means a lot to, i have been scoliosis when my ag 15 years because of accident, now i'm 43 years old it really stress and make my career gone, now i start to heal my scoliosis and your ecercise is really helpfull, Tq one again❤
I am a victim of scoliosis. And I am having it about 5 years however I am gonna be 14 this year. So I started doing that exercises about a few days. I loved them . I can feel some pains in my back which means I hope i can finish my relationship with scoliosis. Thanks🥺♥️🎈
@@ShankarTmsw generally thats normal, these types of stretches are supposed to be uncomfortable, however if its excess you might want to go to a doctor
I just finished my physiotherapy I was afraid that scoliosis back pain will comeback again but thanks to this video I am doing your exercises for 2 days and i feel that i still have hope that back pain will not last forever... thank you for sharing your knowledge
I have this saved in my yoga favorites and have done it many times in the past to help my scoliosis. I’ve recently been cleared after my total hysterectomy to start light yoga again and doing this video again feels so go. I’ve also checked out your post hysterectomy videos and thank you for those too! My back needs this and it is gentle enough that I can handle it right now.
I need to tell you how much gratitude I have for you and this video... these exercises in particular have saved me so much pain and frustration and also made me realize I am NOT totally helpless when it comes to my scoliosis. The first time I did these stretches I just cried and cried out of relief because I let out so much tension in my spine, which I had no idea I could do! Thank you so, so, so much
i am 13 and i have 42 degrees scoliosis in the neck part of the body, i have also a corset with the ring around my neck for the right position of my back and head. i must do excerises but i did not enjoy that. than i found this video, after the excercise my pain is gone and my muscles are relaxed so every evening i am really exited to do this, thank you so much for the video!
Girl, this was amazing! Once you had me on that skateboard hip wiggle, it released something in me that sent my mood through the roof. I can always tell when I'm supposed to be doing a particular move for my body cause I'll feel absolutely HIGH afterward... and yeah, I feel incredible. Thanks for what you do!!!
Jessica you have just brought me pain relief i've been seeking for a long time. My back has been quite bad today so decided to do a bit of exercise and found your video. My back feels so good after this video. Ps I have scoliosis of the spine due to Marfan Syndrome. All the best
I never even knew how many people actually have scoliosis when my doctor first told me about it. And when I just did all the things in this tutorial, in the beginning it hurt like hell when I did the beginning part of the exercise to the left side and at the end of this video it didn’t hurt anymore when I did it again! I’m really happy about this video, will for sure come back to this video whenever my back hurts again! Thank you so much! Really appreciate this video a lot, even if it’s 3 years old haha
Thank you im so glad i found you my son who is 14 grew way to fast and has such a fast metabolism that it caused him to have scoliosis though it is not severe. We caught it early he just needs your exercise and a basic back brace.
THANK YOU! This is one that I need to remember to keep in my regular rotation. That first side bending excersie (I sat on a block) is magical. I also LOVE the bridge side to side one. My scoliosis has been really bothering me head to toe and this really helped.
Hi Jessica. I just found you. I was searching for scoliosis exercises. For a couple of weeks I was sewing for hours on end to make scrub caps for nurses and masks, then all of a sudden I found my right hip hurting and causing me to buckle as I walked. It's over a week and getting no better. And now I'm thinking it's related to my scoliosis combined with the hours of sitting. I'll continue to do this set of exercises and see if it helps. Thank you for this video.
Thanks Jessica! I felt so stiff when I did the side stretches to begin with (I always find them very difficult) but they were a lot easier at the end! I'm going to try doing these everyday and see if I can get less stiffness/pain. Just one question - when we do the bringing the knee over to the right/left side stretch at the end, is it more important to get the knee all the way over or to keep the shoulders on the ground? When i bring my knee over more, I can't keep my shoulder on the floor and wasn't sure which I should be aiming for?
From what i know from mine is that it probably wont go fully straight, because even people who dont wear a body brace might have a slight scoliosis so mine rn is at 9* and i dont feel or act like i used to
Thank you so much for this vid i love it im def gonna try it! I was so worried when the doctor said my scoliosis is 58 degree and im quite young so im def gonna do this everyday, hopefully i dont need to go for surgery. For those who r struggling w scoliosis, i hope ur feeling better
yo know wot sometimes i feel like i wanna take out my back brace infront of everyone and just do the activity like pe exercising bending etc... ( f em idc what they wanted to say will just DO WHAT I WANT) and after that i'll put it on again :D
I have scoliosis- I did this everyday for almost a year and it felt great- but the I stopped. Immediately I started to notice my back pain more and the feeling of uneveness. I've recently restarted and already feel better. Thanks Jessica for posting this :) !
Wowww thank you so much. It even improves my posture! I'll keep you all updated about my scoliosis. It's 21 degrees now. But I'll keep doing the exercises. Never give up 😤
@@ArusHarutyunyan oh wow that’s amazing and I’m the same way bc my scoliosis shows the most from the side, but if it fixed that, then that is especially amazing
This video is a massive help, I didn't know I had scoliosis until recently but certainly felt the symptoms! I have purchased the full length one too, cannot recoomend it enough - thank you so much Jessica
i realized yesterday that i have mild scoliosis so i looked up how to fix it and everything said i couldn’t without surgery. it made me feel very hopeless and like it was going to get worse if i didn’t do anything about it until i found this video and read the comments. thank you for posting this, i’m going to try to do this everyday 💕
update: after 2 days i stopped because i kept searching about scoliosis again and everything said that it’s impossible to fix. it really took a toll on me and i was about to go back to living my life ignoring my scoliosis until i saw a video of someone with severe scoliosis say that they wish they didn’t ignore theirs when it was mild and it scared me. it motivated me again to keep trying every day, and even if i can’t fix it, at least i know that i tried everything i could. if you’re feeling the same way just know youre not alone. this is also very new news to me that i have scoliosis so it’s been REALLY hard mentally…
Have had mild scoliosis ever since I can remember, but as I aged it has become progressively worse. Am now 56 years old with a 41degree S curve and have lost 4 inches in height. No Osteoporosis. On my feet all day, I am in agony from the arthritis in the spine. Am going to give these exercises a try; I hope I can stop popping Advil or Tylenol like Skittles.
Thankful for this video. My daughter was recently diagnosed with Scoliosis. She was complaining of pain in her ribs, and her shoulders had become uneven. We’ve been doing these stretches everyday. She’s no longer experiencing pain and her shoulders look more symmetrical. Bless you ❤️
I'm 1 minute in and I'm already crying. I feel like this is going to work. Thank you for doing these videos, and thank you for being so compassionate. Edit: 3 minutes in and I'm sobbing lol. I have never felt so validated in my life.
I just find out last monday that I have mild scoliosis, I’m so down. But, I felt relief reading comments realizing I’m not alone in this journey.
Me too
this is my favourite TH-cam video no joke.
I wouldn’t get X-rays every month that’s too much radiation
Please answer me how old were you when you did practice the exercise and found out that you almost healed

😪😪😪
God bless you, its hard but stay strong!🙏🏾❤️
@biglyp1299 i had surgery for it 3 days before my 13th birthday if its over 40°c or close to reaching that i think you should consider surgery before it becomes more risky when you grow up or see if a brace is more suitable
Is it weird how everyone tells me I have such a good posture when I actually have scoliosis 😂
Me too 🤣
I know right 😇😹
Same
Because Most people dont know about that and think its just muscle imbalance

I'm deeply grateful to you for sharing these exercises. THANK YOU JESSICA
That's wonderful news!
Really
How old are you and what degree was your scoliosis when you started these exercises? Congratulations!
I didn’t know scoliosis can heal. I thought the spine couldn’t change.
Did you just use this video?
My Doctor diagnosed me with a minor scoliosis, and with no health insurance, my doctor said I would have to pay for physio, thankfully I searched the internet found this video and my pain has significantly decreased to the point that it does not interfere with my life. Took me a few tries to get all the moves down properly (i am seriously not flexible) but now they are part of my regular routine. I cannot thank you enough!!!!!
Is your spine straighten?
Thank you.
Do you do them everyday? I am going to start them as I have mild scoliosis. Thank you
This works i do them every time i get too tight and straightenes me back up right away
Hi
How many time did you do this exercise and is it really you get difference
Did your back become straighter?
Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart
❤️ I understand that there are different kinds of scoliosis and different levels of scoliosis. The process is slow but the benefits are great.
Even if your scoliosis doesn’t go away, Stretches and moderate twisting on the spine will help with some of the back pain and most likely align, stop or slow down the curving of the spine. I highly suggest this video. Thank you ✌🏻
Hi did you do all of these exercises? Once or twice a day?
Yes please reply
how much your degree curve?

Please get an Xray!
And tell us more about it

I was diagnosed with scoliosis as a 13 year old in 1995 and had slight back pain. I did many of the same exercises in this video as taught by my physical therapist, within a year my back was straighten and back pain was gone! I did the exercises until 18. I decided to look up the scoliosis exercises again because of slight back pain in the lower area. Thank you for this great video!
You are so welcome!

My elderly body is not as supple, so I've taken it easy & I can certainly feel the benefit.
i have scoliosis diagnosed 2 years ago but only now am i doing exercises for it so i will make sure to stay consistent and update you on my pain after the exercise and if i feel as if my scoliosis got better
1. day - did the exercise it wasn't really painful but my back feels overall better than yesterday (i forgot to add that i have scoliosis on my right side and after these exercises my right side was more flexible)
2. day - did both the exercises in this video and exercises in the other video for scoliosis with the same creator and i have to say my back is more relaxed, but because i did both videos my wrists hurt a little when i move them, but overall im happy
3. day - i didnt do any exercises because my hips were hurting from going on a long walk
4. day - since i didnt do any exercises yesterday i decided to do both exercises in the morning and at night, in the morning i was a little stiff since i just woke up ....
+Hanno the Phoenician I'm so glad the videos are helping!

The first time I did these stretches I just cried and cried out of relief because I let out so much tension in my spine, which I had no idea I could do! Thank you so, so, so much
You are so welcome!!
i am 13 and i have 42 degrees scoliosis in the neck part of the body, i have also a corset with the ring around my neck for the right position of my back and head. i must do excerises but i did not enjoy that. than i found this video, after the excercise my pain is gone and my muscles are relaxed so every evening i am really exited to do this, thank you so much for the video!
I'm so happy for all those who have healed through these videos.
Great movement, been doing this almost every day to start my day. Wish you would re-upload with a better sound!
I would aim for keeping the shoulders on the floor, but don't stress over it. Just think of it as a nice gentle stretch.
I have thoracic dextroscoliosis. i will do this everyday. will try to update as much as possible.
Oct 1 - Done ✅
Hey i also have that type of scoliosis. Hows it going for you so far?
I am 13 , and I have slight scoliosis to the right. Is it possible to make my spine fully straight?
From what i know from mine is that it probably wont go fully straight, because even people who dont wear a body brace might have a slight scoliosis so mine rn is at 9* and i dont feel or act like i used to
I am 16 does this help?
No, if it's fully straight is bad.
it has to have a little curve
Its four years so now you are 17 nvm we aren't the same age.
@@shybella551 wait why?
Thank you so much for this vid i love it im def gonna try it! I was so worried when the doctor said my scoliosis is 58 degree and im quite young so im def gonna do this everyday, hopefully i dont need to go for surgery.
For those who r struggling w scoliosis, i hope ur feeling better

I'm only 11 and i having scoliosis too
@@SparklySpark thank you but is okay
I have scoliosis- I did this everyday for almost a year and it felt great- but the I stopped. Immediately I started to notice my back pain more and the feeling of uneveness. I've recently restarted and already feel better. Thanks Jessica for posting this :) !
Wowww thank you so much. It even improves my posture! I'll keep you all updated about my scoliosis. It's 21 degrees now. But I'll keep doing the exercises. Never give up 😤
Did it work at all?
@@ellaaquilino8230 I think so. At least pain is over and from the side, you can't see the scoliosis (from where it was most visible)
@@ArusHarutyunyan oh wow that’s amazing and I’m the same way bc my scoliosis shows the most from the side, but if it fixed that, then that is especially amazing
Ta colonne vertébrale est revenue à son état normale ?
Could you get an Xray done and confirm ?
Its great news for all if these exercises really work
This video is a massive help, I didn't know I had scoliosis until recently but certainly felt the symptoms! I have purchased the full length one too, cannot recoomend it enough - thank you so much Jessica
I'm glad it's helpful!
I started doing this,wish me luck❤
i realized yesterday that i have mild scoliosis so i looked up how to fix it and everything said i couldn’t without surgery. it made me feel very hopeless and like it was going to get worse if i didn’t do anything about it until i found this video and read the comments. thank you for posting this, i’m going to try to do this everyday 💕
update: after 2 days i stopped because i kept searching about scoliosis again and everything said that it’s impossible to fix. it really took a toll on me and i was about to go back to living my life ignoring my scoliosis until i saw a video of someone with severe scoliosis say that they wish they didn’t ignore theirs when it was mild and it scared me. it motivated me again to keep trying every day, and even if i can’t fix it, at least i know that i tried everything i could. if you’re feeling the same way just know youre not alone. this is also very new news to me that i have scoliosis so it’s been REALLY hard mentally…
This is my favourite scoliosis exercise video on TH-cam! You explain the exercises very precisely and calmly. Thank you very much!
Just one time and my back already feels so much better 😭
my son of all people was practicing yoga long before i knew. he loves it. yoga & meditation. every day. im proud of him.
Thank you for your clear and nice instructions, Jessica!
Thankful for this video. My daughter was recently diagnosed with Scoliosis. She was complaining of pain in her ribs, and her shoulders had become uneven. We’ve been doing these stretches everyday. She’s no longer experiencing pain and her shoulders look more symmetrical. Bless you ❤️
That's wonderful!
I'm 1 minute in and I'm already crying. I feel like this is going to work. Thank you for doing these videos, and thank you for being so compassionate.
Edit: 3 minutes in and I'm sobbing lol. I have never felt so validated in my life.
after 3 years??
