A couple of honest question for Tops Silent Hero owners (I own one myself). 1)Has anyone had the fine needle point come off with use and 2) has anyone done/seen a point tip test on this knife (stabbing it into wood and pulling it out/digging it out side to side? I received this knife with a needle point and at some point of use it has become more smoothed (it's still sharp enough to stab with). Additionally, I have never seen a video of the stab test where a hole is picked out of wood like I've seen with some other knives (i.e. the Cold Steel SRK, Becker BK10, etc). Helpful comments would be appreciated, thanks.
@jhon doe Not that I didn't think, but that I didn't know. Thanks for providing the video; it's the first I've seen of someone actually putting the tip of this knife through an exercise or torture test.
@@charlesp9681 the Silent Hero is in the mail now so I’ll be testing it for a while and the video will likely be filmed in a few months or so and released late july to mid august

I have the same knife, I have the Rocky mountain ⛰ scales on mine.I may order the smooth scales.If you get a new sheath do a vid.I would like to see it.But I think I’ll keep the whistle.🇺🇸😀👍

Good looking knife. That manzanita wood is pretty hard and makes good fire wood.
The knife did well on the manzanita. And yes it makes awesome fire wood and burns the hottest out of all woods

I like them both i had to see what the linen micarta handles were like smooth. I have a draw full of them whistles lol
Not sure if you are aware but they dont ship the handle scales, you have to send it back.
