    This knife jumped out to me as soon as I saw it on Instagram, so I wanted to review it and now that I have - yes, I like it! A solid all-around knife that is 'slicey', can do some chopping, can carve, and more. Overall, a great performer and if you get it, I think you'll like - check it out!

    As someone who has made a few knives and leather sheaths, i don't think the price is bad if it's as well built as it appears to be. 1095 is a damn good steal when heat treated right and i think they've been around long enough to have it dialed in.

    Nice knife! I love the 90 degree spine, and the shape and functionality of the blade. I agree with you about the saw back, it could have used a few more cuts. And the handle would be better with a little more girth. I own several Tops knives, the Scullcrusher, the full size Tom Brown Tracker, the Air Marshall, and the Special Assault Weapon. They all come sharp enough to dry shave with, and all will last several lifetimes if taken care of! I think $185.00 is a great deal on that knife. I just might have to get me one! I've always wanted a Tops knife with a 90 degree spine! And I love the fact that they're all made in America!!🤜🤛🇺🇸🇺🇸

    I like the blade shape because it's similar to my Canadian #4 Grohmann knife but yours is larger. Nice knife. If you needed to survive and had to carry minimum gear a multipurpose knife is a good choice to keep in an emergency pack'

  • @meccagold2009

    That handle is the perfect size because you got a relatively small knife you can use as a chopper so the handle has to be less weighty especially when you're stretching it out that long to give it all that functionality.

      The storm vector is an awesome blade the handle is very comfortable and is an awesome chopper. I only worry about the point of the blade. It is an extreme point I’ve been out with it made 8hrs of field use and it has chopped vines and delimbed trees also batoned and feather sticked wood for the fire. No hot spots and the sheath is comfortable and worth the money Hopefully this helps. Oh yeah it looks great.

    Looks like if you didn't have a smaller knife and had to do finer work, you could choke up on the saw portion using that sharp tip and still have enough room to not slice your fingertips off.

  • @TimBryan-tt2ty
    @TimBryan-tt2ty 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

    I like the curve of the knife, but the handle looks too skinny and reminds me of the esee laser strike. The laser strike comes with the same type of pseudo choil, since I have smaller hands that projection tends to try to separate my knuckles, rather painfully. A bench sander relieved my pain.. I'm neutral in regards the saw teeth, seems a bit more trouble to use the teeth than it would be to make a notch with knife blade. It needs to be sent back to the drawing board.

  • @gutzboy1

    I like everything about the knife but the saw teeth.

  • @davidgiles9751
    @davidgiles9751 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Looks like the cut of the saw back is purposely designed so you're pulling for the cut vs. pushing. Makes it safer so your thumb won't slip onto the blade if the teeth catch on a notch while pushing forward. If they catch while you're pulling back, your hand/thumb just slips towards the bottom of the handle.

  • @jacobkrill4751

    Interesting 🤔 fixed blade. But at $185, a little over price. Have you seen my food bucket 🪣 for Earth 🌍 day. For kids?

      for you, not the materials, it's like saying a high end car is over priced, and not understanding what goes into it.

    THIS KNIFE IS TOO EXPENSIVE, FOR 1095 CS AND IT COSTS IN EUROPE 255€, NO WAY. WITH THE SAME AMOUNT OF MONEY, YOU CAN BUY 3 CONDOR KNIVES :
    CONDOR TERRASAUR 57€, 1095 CS
    CONDOR MOUNTAIN PASS SURVEYOR 440C, 99€ AND
    CONDOR BUSHCRAFT PARANG 1075 CS, 96€. BIG DIFFERENCE.
