I have had my Silent Hero since 2014, I purchased it from Anton ( the designer) in Sunny South Africa. 10 years later it is still my favourite fixblade for the African bush & yes a sheath upgrade is a must.
Best video ever on the whole internet! Yes, I am biased but dang. Just look at it! Thank you so much, you saved a knife that was just sitting because of a bad sheath. Guys save your fixed blades that are just sitting, because of bad leather. Looking at you, Lionsteel.
This model really got my attention when it first came out. There is a lot to like with this one. I think the guy who designed it works in Africa protecting endangered rhinos. That’s pretty badass. Cool feature vid 👍
If you lengthened this knife blade by 3.5 inches it would improve the knife immensely for me .. Also increase the blade thickness to a quarter of an inch .. Just my druthers .. I make knives and have many that fit for me .. I make my own kydex sheaths as well .. I collect knives also .. Im a happy camper ..
This is the best of both worlds. The strength and sabre grind of the beckerbk7, The choil, cool look, and slicy nature of esee 6 due to the tall blade. I think becker and tops should make molle back sheaths like esee
Oh man... that tater digger is beautiful with a fantastic sheath to boot. Ugh... another blade to add to the list and hide from the wife... jk... maybe. Great review and new SubscribeStar member for you!
Can I get your email again. I couldn't make it out because my hearing isn't the best. I have the Tops Silent Hero (the knife in this video and been searching for a kydex sheath with all perameters in mind you listed and spoke of.
Thanks for making my dad a cool sheath he really enjoys it and can’t stop showing it to everyone
Of course. Thanks for the comment bud!

That one changed my opinion on the blade shape and geometry as soon as I got it in hand. On my list now. . .
Same here... The only problem I have is it can rust pretty easily so you have to make sure and oil it.
@@jt44444 True. I always forget because I live in Colorado and it's pretty dry here. I prefer the kydex over the leather sheath for that reason.
