#KingdomOfThePlanetOfTheApes
Random ape: What's the symbol of Ceasar?
Proximus: Few know, but supposedly it is supposed to represent every ape species in unity. It is written in an ancient hieroglyph we are still deciphering.
Ceasar: It's my window bro.
Apes pray to the ikea window
Love this detail
Proximus: Like, the window to your soul or something?
Cesar: No just my bedroom window
Proximus: 😒
@@irishbananamafia9728anddd you forced it 😐
Nah this is Lore gold..
0:20 The way he just ignores all the apes bowing to him, while Caesar took the time to acknowledge them as he passed by. Says a lot about this "next to Caesar".
Caesar is dead in War of the Planet Of the Apes, despite that ape looking like Caesar. Also this takes place 300 years later
@@de4dlyintelligence He's just pointing out the differences between Caesar and Proximus
@@de4dlyintelligence Caesar is not dead in War of the Planet of the Apes. he is dead in Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes.
Fun fact: "Proximus" means "next" or "nearest" in Latin. And it's confirmed that "Caesar" isn't this ape's real name, it's a title that he gave himself, so he's essentially calling himself the next Caesar.
Yeah because Caesar is like a divine being to them, kind of like ancestor worship, or veneration, so his like the one nearest to caesarean a spiritual sense
Just like Augustus Caesar whom originally was neither
In the movie, its stated that he loves learning about Roman history
@@AimForMyHead81The roman empire rots your brain man 😔
The movie is out noe and you were absolutely right. He pretty much said he IS Caeser
The charisma this Proximus guy has in this one minute clip is off thr charts. Mans got me bowing my head and saying the words of Ceasar.
WHAT A WONDERFUL DAY!!!
I love him already
😂
He was inspired by Fury Road.
Wish we had more of that kind of villains in media
@@anubusxsee I was thinking Cyrus from the warriors
Rise- The start from humble beginnings
Dawn- The hardships of being a leader
War- The apocalyptic battle that will determine the dominant species, human or ape.
Kingdom- The harrowing journey of the new generation of apes.
What a wonderful day reminds me of Fury Road.
I'd say the bastardization of a legend, like how the Romans used Christianity to control people
I'd say Dawn is about Caesar realizing apes can be as dangerous as humans
And War is about the hardships of being a leader, because he abandons his people to seek vengeance
ok
Rise - human antagonist
Dawn - ape antagonist
War - human antagonist
Kingdom - ape antagonist
the apes in the first are also partially the antagonists
@Kingloxgame Maybe Koba, but the rest of the apes I was actually rooting for. Also, the first movie technically has two human antagonists; there’s Jacobs (Will’s boss) and Dodge (the guy who torments Caesar and the other apes at the primate facility).
I’m seeing a pattern here
@@shanerose7204 yeah I get that but the apes themselves are kind of the antagonists because of them invading San Francisco and breaking into buildings. Just imagine a bunch of apes break into a building where you happen to be, you would probably think they are going to attack you like they attacked other people. So they could be an antagonist
@@Kingloxgamethey just wanted to free the apes, Caesar forbid them from hurting humans
That "What a wonderful day!" and camera angle goes hard
They even put some spit in there to show his enunciation of his words.
your mother goes harder
In film making that tilt is called a ditch angle, to throw the audience off kilter and let them know something is wrong etc. and yeah the way they directed this whole scene was badass
That one teacher in 7am:
😂
Real
Reminds me of my old headmaster loved his job and literally this is him in the morning
how do you be in 7am how does one be inside time?
I HATED those types of teachers ones that were all happy on a fuvking Monday morning. Like why are you smiling??!!!
The special effects in these movies are phenomenal.
It still bugs me though that Noa sometimes looks more off than some rando ape in the crowd who I swear is a real ape who's been taught English.
2017: We are the beginning! And the end!
2024: What a wonderful day!
1:16 Me in the morning on a holiday
1:15
Time to waste it playing videogames
Just shows how powerful they see Ceaser as. He was not just a ruler, he was a prophet, a messiah to them who lead them to victory. What a powerful scene and a wonderful day!
“WHAT A WONDERFUL DAY!!” 🗣️🗣️🗣️🔥🔥🔥🔥
WHAT A WONDERFUL DAY !!!!
WHAT A WONDERFUL DAY🐵🐵🐵🐵🐵🐵🐵🐵🐵🐵🐵🐵🐵🐵🐵🐵🐵🐵🐵
WHAT A WONDERFUL DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WHAT A WONDERFUL DAY!!!!!!!! YEAHHHHHHHHHHHH
WHAT A WONDERFUL DAY
@@SICKSNIPER210are we thankfull for the words of ceasar?
"What a wonderful day!" is basically the same as "All my fellas!"
Proximus: Say His words.
Apes: Apes together strong.
Maurice: (Punches Proximus) Keep His Words Out Of Your Mouth!
Please don’t suck, Please Don’t Suck, Please Don’t Suck!
If there was a "Best Comment" ... This would be it... it has SO MUCH POTENTIAL!
At the end of Day it's touch and Go how it performs and rotten tomatoes and how it performs at the box office I mean in the beginning Fox could have just left his dead after War it made no sense to bring it back
@@Kemet1976woke has lost all meaning lmfao
THATS WHAT SHE SAID
@@rodanthefiredemon3016🤣🤣
American Public Schools saying the pledge at like 7 in the morning:
I read that Proximus is a bonobo, just like Koba.
No he’s not he’s clearly a chimp
Wich doesn't make sense because he looks more like a Chimp !!
and the irony for both is that Bonobo's are notably more peaceful then Chimps
@zoytonthat's the point, they were so evolved by the simian flu to the point that they can choose to deny their own nature
@zoyton Well Koba was abused by humans and thats why his hatred started
1:14 what a wonderful dayyyyy
Anyone who’s seen the original planet of the apes knows how fascinating and terrifying it is to see the rise of the zealotry and worship of Caesar
1:15
Never got tired of that 😂
I’m gonna get “What a wonderful day” on a T-shirt.
Caesars immortal words are "apes together strong" and that seems almost supernaturally fitting...
0:18 love his face expression
Same
The chanting at the beginning feels soooo much different when you’re watching it in IMAX like I did.
me hyping everyone on the last day of school. 0:50- 1:18
It's cools to see that Caesar is like a god to these apes even after his death
The fact Caesar fought to liberate ape kind from human oppression, only to end up turning apes into humans in all but name
is heartbreaking.
Caesar always had such a melancholic look on his face. I think, after Koba, he knew it would be inevitable.
0:52 you can see the chalk drawing of the window of the attic from the first movie
Its basically the sign of the ape religion
even after death, caeser still lives
I love how Proximus is trying to hype himself up with a big speech, showing everyone just how loud he is and that he’s in charge. Caesar, on the other hand never needed any big speeches to let people know how much of a boss he was.
When it’s the last day of school 1:15
😅😅😅😅😂😂😂true
Or parents on the first day of school…😅
When I first saw him on screen with this clip, I absolutely hated him immediately.
That’s when you know you’ve created a fantastic villain, a villain you just love to hate-
Ditto for Skar King in Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire
I love his voice damn I don't know why
You can hear him growl subtly in the theatres, it just isn't captured that well on TH-cam. He maximises the potential of his voice to the fullest, all that he does is an attempt to intimidate.
This gonna be one of the most powerful movies since Star Wars
“What a wonderful day!!!”
It’s really crazy how much of a legendary figure Ceaser was , that legendary that even a ruthless villain like Proximus respects him.
This is like apocalypto but with some twist and change
are u comparing the apes with the natives by chance?
@@Jormoneyes its the same plot. A tribe enslaving a clan
More immortan Joe I think.
The director himself said that his pitch to 20th Century was that it was 'Apocalypto with Apes'
this Proxima Caesar seems like a reasonable fella
Good god, Kevin Durand has the PERFECT voice!
WHAT A WONDERFUL DAY🗣️🔥‼️
it's interesting how they portrait religion in this scene, the way how easy it is to move the deepest emotional fiber so you can submerge anyone into a believe, how easy it is to play with their minds and make them do whatever you want to in the name of a superior and omnipresent being.
What a strangely dumb take
@@colonelturmeric558i only see truth in his comment
@@colonelturmeric558It’s not a dumb take, this movie has a lot of religious undertones 😂
I like how when proximus is walking in the middle of the apes their hands are showing the backs of their hands instead of an open palm shows that despite being named Proximis Ceasar hes nothing like him
He kind of reminds me of a Mad Max villain if you ask me
My theory for future sequels what if noa might be Cornelius great great great great great great great great great great great great great grandson because he resembles Caesar and does noa have Caesar birthmark?
No he's not I just watched movie
W@@Nanded12345 well this movie is 300 years after war. For all we know he could be.
Proximus: And i say HAY!!!!
Apes: HAY!!!!!!!
Proximus: What of wonderful time of DAY!!!!!!
I got a full on boneski during this speech. Like a primal rager
The Apes franchise just doesn’t disappoint since 2011
Since 1968.
@@chasehedges6775 I liked the 2001 one but that’s not common
@@DutchPlanDerLinde The 2001 one was not very good but Estella Warren was gorgeous.
“WHAT A WONDERFUL DAY!”
Notice how he doesn’t acknowledge any of the apes bowing to him. Caesar always made sure to acknowledge every ape he passed by when they greeted him.
say his words " ape together strong" what a wonderful day 😂 , Proximus is something else, his basically like a preacher
Everbody gangsta untill king kong shows up💀
The amount of aura this guys got
Nah fr tho
Maybe it's weird, but I think I'd fear him more than Koba. I don't know if it's just me, but I look at this character and see insanity right beneath the surface, it's unsettling. Koba was like this in the finale, meanwhile this guy - all the time 😂
WHAT A WONDERFUL DAY🗣🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Proximus deserved more screen time that’s the biggest criticism I have for this movie there is so much potential they could have done.
Too much time was wasted in the first half of the film when not a lot was happening.
What a wonderful day
proxima mate be my favorite character and my favorite villain in all of the planet of the apes movies bruh
Mine too
I wish he had more screen time i really loved his character
To be honest, I really believe that proximus it’s not dead
No body no crime
I personally liked this movie. Solid B if not B+. 😁
Bro was a menace in the movie
1:15 Me when i wake up everyday
Hope to get more of this guy nailed the roll
I like how he said it in the trailer more
Never watched this movie but from the sounds of it I don’t think I need to anymore 😂😂
"CAN YOU DIG IT?!!!!!!!"
It was pretty well down for something not including Cesar and I loved it
From the director of The Maze Runner Trilogy.
Not a good sign.
Only this time with good writers
@@TeeAiDeeMaze Runner trilogy wasn’t that bad.
@@Aqwtiny it isn't bad but they killed it with their latest sequel and basically put themselves in a dead-end. I've heard a new one is in the making so hopefully they redeem themselves.
1:15 when life is going horribly wrong and is falling apart then your favorite person shows up
It all started with Cesar.. RIP
Got a job recently in this impossible hellscape we currently call a job market. To celebrate i looked this up and blasted WHAT A WONDERFUL DAY!!!
Stronger, next day.
That got a chuckle from me.
To be fair, I expected him to go feral and kill some poor random ape when they failed, so that reaction surprised me a little 😂
What a wonderful world 🎶🎺
WHAT A WONDERFUL DAYYYY
"WHAT A WONDERFUL DAAAY!" 😤😤😤😤
It was really good. My only complaint was it moved really slow and could have probably been cut down a bit in time
Stop sounding like a politician. It sucked and was too long

It's interesting that the main tribe is the Eagle Clan considering that the Roman flag was an eagle. I wonder what the Clan will turn into over the next movies.
What a wonderful day 👍
It's wild how Caesar became Ape Jesus many generations after he died
Proximus: I am Caesar and I'm in charge of my apes.
Caesar: No. I'm Caesar.
Proximus: I am Caesar!
Caesar: I am Caesar!
Noa: So who's the real Caesar?
Proximus & Caesar: I am!
Got it from "Toy Story 2"
I know this is easy to spot but if you look the boat has a carving of the window from Wills house.
