  • Documentary from 1988 about the lovely Margot Bryant. I had to cut out the Victoria Wood segment to avoid copyright.

Gary Glitter and I met her and spent some time with her in the Grand Hotel, Scarborough in '72 or perhaps '73!! A lovely, gentle soul enjoying her little holiday! A sweet memory.

This is a terrific rarity - I've never seen interviews with Eileen Derbyshire and Lynne Carol before. Thank you very much for a great unseen upload.

The comments made by both Lynne Carol & Doris Speed imply that Margot Bryant was the polar opposite of sweet and simple Minnie Caldwell and she wasn't above cutting people down and copping an attitude.

Beautifully done. A loving testimonial from some ‘Corrie’ cast friends for Margot.

I wish there was a book about Margot Bryant. Such a character!

  • @obrien6320

Doris speed didn't get along very well with her as Doris was a very liberal person and Margot was a very conservative person. They were very different people in real life to their characters.

Lynne Carol was spot on - those three could talk about anything and be brilliantly funny.
