Hi, I saw you had some 50 million vertices during your sculpting. When I get to around 10 million, my pc starts lagging like crazy even though i have a pretty good setup (4070ti with 13700k cpu). How are you able to have so many vertices in your build? Is there a setting or do you have an insane pc setup? Thanks
I have found that the multires modifier offers much more stable performance than dynamesh/voxel for high end details. Try using it next time you reach the millions. For clarification, the final sculpt for this leviathan was 8 million faces. (Previously 35, but I reduced it for better performance).
Wow, this comment really underlines how absolutely crappy sculpting tool blender is. I'm can do 20M with real time post processing in Nomad Sculpt on my new ANDROID TABLET..and up to 30M without post turned on. This sculpt here would be a piece of cake on Nomad
I think it has more to do with Blender being a modeling software not sculpting. That was never its strong suit. Its gotten better through the years but its not the programs bread and butter per say @creativeearthian1702
@@creativeearthian1702didn't expect Nomad Sculpt to be that performant 😂 Edit : I made some sculpting test today on my 7840HS/4060 with 8G VRAM and I can reach to ~24 millions polygons before it crash on Optix mode.
