Deadpool regenerated his hand just to give a middle finger to Wolverine is perfectly in-character. A nice bookend reference to cutting his hand to pull out the same finger on Colossus.

holy crap that animation was insane i bet if you got a big ass team and gave alot of time these would go very fast and be longer animations too, i know that sounds obvious but still the amount of quality in this was insane and im sure a team could definitely bring you ideas really far, regardless of "potential" this was absolutely insane that scene where they kept bouncing back and fourth was pure art, and deadpools middle finger was perfect i loved this 10/10 animation this was sick

I did this all same as you did. And my idea was also to make animation faster.
I was making Deadpool with toon shader. Some hacly trick to make it look good. I was using 2 more tricks to fool people about the 3d look complete 2d style.
Yes I also had planned to draw over camera for correct shading.

Actually. I am away from pc for a while. But I would like to remake this animation with actual 2d animation. I am using toonsquid to experiment with some animation technique.
So can I remake your animation if you allow?

to stretch and squash a 3d asset has to be a pain in the ass compared to just doing in perspective in 2d which already is omega level difficult.
