Dude you've been doing this for years you definitely know what you're talking about thank you for the tips and not being a salesman instead a true Angler that knows what he's talking about keep it up Mike
Dude, I put this package together this Summer and slow rolled it. They loved it! I did the Bluegill Mini Max 3/8 ounce and paired it with the Goby colored Spunk Shad. I've never had such confidence in a Chatterbait before. Caught plenty with it and some big ones! Thanks for this tip/video!
That's been my favorite bait and color since it was released, I'm a spinning rod guy and I fish my 1/4 oz. on my St. Croix Bass X 6' 10" MLXF , and has been by far the funnest fishing I have done
Caught two yesterday fishing at a local pond. It has a clear but tanic tent to it. Caught them on a 1/4 oz green pumpkin minimax with a 3-inch zako in green pumpkin.
I really like taking the skirt off my chatterbaits and using a fluke type trailer. They skip better for me and I can stroke them like I would a regular jig. A 1/4 oz and a fluke jr. for a trailer has been a solid presentation.
The spunk shad is the only trailer I run on my Chatterbaits now after I seen the video short that Missile Baits make showing it on a chatterbait, unbelievable
First person I've seen speak of the Mini Max's. I fish local tournaments here in Schenectady NY, mostly on the river and I absolutely love that bait for these mohawk Smallies. Pairs good with the strike king baby z-too👍🤙
neat trick is I will get a regular chatter bait and add a larger paddle tail swim bait like a keitech 3.8 the tail will dampen the vibrations of the larger blade but give you plenty of flash especially in darker green color water for me its money
Been using them since they came out and I would say 85% of my fish last year came on the mini max spot remover 3/8. I was smoking the river smallies with it. I just got the 1/4 for some smaller lakes and ponds.
Great vid bud thanks. For me, I can’t seem to catch anything on a chatter bait here in Jersey. Got em in all sizes and colors and in all my years, it’s just one of those things that don’t produce for me.
Broooo, I was throwing the identical bait, color and all a month ago up here in Ohio and it was absolutely on fire. Hop it, burn it or just standard stop and go the thing is a killer
I use the same thing and they eat it up at lake dardanelle. I fish at the pier because I can't afford a boat. Not even a used one. Just not enough hours at work. Does give me time to fish. Oh and those annoying honey do's lmao.
If you use a swim bait for a trailer rig it upside down so the tail swims better. The blade's water displacement messes up the action of the tails when rigged right side up. Swim it beside you and you'll see what I mean.
Well, I’ve kept this quiet with the stealth over the last year, but Mikey let the cat out of the bag. The clear small stealth works the same way, oh well 😳😁👍
@@mikeybalzz it’s crazy because I have been telling my buddies I wanna try burning a minimax at Lanier and what not over brush piles and shallow they are like no that won’t work so I never did it lol
BE CAREFUL of the 'A3 Anglers Crazy Tail Shad'! I messed up and put some into a bag of similar Spunk Shads. The A3 are made out of the MELTING kind of plastic, like Z Man, that does NOT play well with other plastics! I lost 3 bags of trailers. 🤬

👊👊
Chatterbait is one of my go to baits! I’m really into the Slobberknocker right now, thanks as always Balzz, great stuff.
🤙

I’ve been running the 6th Sense juggle minnow on mine. Bite off about 3/8” so the hook comes out right where it tapers down before the tail…..money.
I just ordered those juggle jawns for that reason...🤙🏼🤙🏼🎣🎣
Medium heavy spinning rod has been amazing for those really lightweight mini maxes !
Great info I love catterbaits. You give me a lot more trailer options to try.
Thanks for all your tips
Spark Shads are pretty good too!
The mini max is deadly for sure! Also don't sleep on the willow vibe from z man, absolutely killer with and ez shiner or largo shad on em
Just grabbed a few of those they look pretty sweet
I love the Mini Max is by far my favorite chatterbait

The Baby Goat works great too

Love the colors you are using red with that minnow that looked sick👍
Love the spunk shad and that new 3inch Zako pairs up nicely with the Mini Max.

Great tip Mike. Got to pick some of those chatterbaits and that hog farmer trailers.

The 1/4 absolutely slams the head way more feel with it
Love your tips videos... especially the the water ones explaining and catching fish
Thanks for sharing I really like the chatterbaits as well as spinnerbaits. These are my go baits
Thank you Mikey. Great vid brother 👍

Zoom split tail trailer shakes like crazy too.
Thanks for the tip!!!!!

Such awesome detail. KILLER as always brother! 🤘🏻
Nice! Thanks for the tips!
The Kamikaze Swimon by Big Bite is another good one
Should put that in this months box
That rig slays the saugeye here in central ohio too. Caught 5 fish ohio saugeyes in 2 days throwing it.
what size line are you using for the mini max
Wonder if they're gonna do a mini max stealth blade
I like to run boot tails upside down on chatter baits, it seems to hunt more. Thanks Mike
Great little tweak
I just tied one on tonight to try out and this popped up on the youtubes. It must be listening.
No doubt they're listening
Great video as always! What size line do you recommend on this. The spunk shad is 🔥
Do you not turn that trailer upside down? The cadence of the CB and the boot tail are so different, does it matter?
Broooo, I was throwing the identical bait, color and all a month ago up here in Ohio and it was absolutely on fire. Hop it, burn it or just standard stop and go the thing is a killer
If you were to buy one rod for chatterbait fishing. Which one would it be? Great Video.
What line did you have on your set up for the mini max?

Would this work on spotted bass lakes ?
yes i can confirm they chomp it.

Do you trim the skirt any?
Speaking my language! I’ll absolutely try it more
Throw a power ned on one of those, Mikey. 🤫
It looks Bad Ass!
Thanks bud!
@@mikeybalzz Thank you very mutch... have a nice day.... see you….
👍👍👍👍
Mikey, any trouble with the snaps opening up?Anybody upgrading snaps
haven't' had them open but i did bend one a bit. would definitley worry about that in super thick grass or throwing it on braid.
Let’s gooooooooooooooo🎉
TZ is the 3"
Little EZ 3.75"
EZ swimmer 4.25"
Big EZ 5"
GZ Magnum 6.5", & 8"
You mean perfect for the time of year when you shot the video 6 weeks ago or longer

Shhhhhhhhhhh.....
Killed then on that thing the other day
Always pick up a little goody from your vids. Cool.
Hey Bog!
