Chatterbait is my oldest brothers favorite, can’t hardly get him to throw anything else. Lol don’t blame him though sometimes you find a lure that you just have absolute confidence in.
I agree with everything u said. I love fishing the jackhammers and I usually use a zako as my trailer. I need to pick me up some of them lake fork tackle live magic shad!!! Love the vids man keep it up!🤙
Question, would changing out the heavier snap swivel on the older chatterbaits to lighter achieve the same application your looking for in the retrieve which would save a lot of money verses buying a more expensive jackhammer?
I've used it before and it's a good trailer. It's tough to get on the Jackhammer because it's elaztech and the it doesn't work well with the bait keepers they use on the jackhammer. But, if you get it on there straight, it works well
Yes Sir I know the brand I live basically in there (LFT) back yard but I have yet to see that solid blue color. I’ve looked on TW as well as the LFT website.
It does look solid blue in the thumbnail, but if I had to guess it’s the LFT “Blue Bruiser” color. I get the Hypersticks in this color fairly often. It’s supposed to be black/blue, but sometimes there’s more color than the other.
Great info ty
"Skeeter" was very focused on the birds flying over for a bit! :)
Probably would’ve of made a good duck dog!He stares at them birds like he’s got the drive for it!
Great video the only thing I don't agree with is the water color is at its clearest during the winter. Thanks for the video
we get hard rains here this time of year and does take longer to recover in my experience during the winter
@@yourlakeforkguide1520 thank you that makes sense

When you talk about grass in the middle of winter, are you talking about dead grass, or love green grass?
Prolly coontail, milfoil, and hydrilla and hyacinth
Great info Sir, where can I find the blue trailer that you had on the black/blue chatterbait?
Lake Fork Trophy Lures: Emory,TX
Should be able to order online if they’re in stock
