    12/5/23 I have been fishing the past couple days. Water temp is 55 degrees here in East Tx. One side of lake is more exposed to the sunlight than the other which is shaded. Found the fish schooling on small shad. If they weren’t not schooling very hard to catch. It’s like they are going 100 27:16 miles an hour when schooling and dead if not. Caught them on a suspending jerk bait, divine with a jig head, and the old school shad rap. About everything you said was spot on .

    All great info, Ben! This is why I really look forward to your videos. Unlike a certain angler that's been fishing for 30+ years that was on a certain podcast, I also have been fishing for 30+ years, but I'm always looking to learn new things, experiment with baits I don't have confidence in, and just improve my knowledge about bass fishing. Your channel is exactly the kind of content I look for. Keep up the great work and go get them in the Elites!

    I’ve been catching largemouth on a tube since my 2 brother n laws taught me how to bass fish 45 yrs ago, in Tennessee. Don’t get me wrong we caught a lot of smallmouth too. Depends on the lake. Here’s some more juice try a 4” red with salt, I want you to come out with a smoke/purple crankbaits deep and shallow 300 DD, 500 DD and deeper, smoke/black too. Thx for your knowledge and some juice! I just subscribed about a month ago. I’ll stay because your share the real juice. lol good luck this year I’ll be watching and buying you baits! 👍🥸🙏

Would you classify the lakes in eastern Kansas near KC elevation is around 800-1000’ above which is higher than the Ozark peaks in Missouri but much of our lakes are man made and the reservoirs are too “corps of engineers”. Muddy, clay bottoms (flooded and damed rivers) thanks

    • @jordonpratt2604
      @jordonpratt2604 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Most bass anglers who fish tournaments and stuff won’t do it because it’s illegal in tournaments , so it doesn’t really sharpen any skills or anything so what’s the point. Longlining is illegal in every tournament so I doubt very seriously that Ben has any opinion on trolling baits for bass, but who knows when the camera is off he might put all the rods out and troll around but I doubt it
