I watched your pest spray video and immediately purchased all of the ingredients you suggested along with the sprayer! We started using it this weekend. So excited to see if it gets rid of those pesky fungus gnats. I just wanted to tell you how much I love and appreciate your channel. Whenever I have a question about some plant related thing, I immediately pull up your channel or ask my GOOGLE HOME to pull one up from Aloha Plant Life. Thanks for all of the time you put into researching the information you give. You have made a fantastic channel and resource for many. And I love your cute personality. Thanks again!
You should look into getting kickbacks for recommendations - as long as you're upfront about it it won't affect your relationship with your viewers, and it can help fund your plants!
Believe me, I’ve been trying! Amazon apparently has some crazy requirements to be accepted into their affiliate program and they won’t tell you what they are. You just have to keep applying and you either get accepted or denied with no good explanation as to why. It’s very frustrating.
We have around 200 plants in our home. Our go-to tools are as follows: A moisture meter, plant fertilizer (Miracle Grow) 10-10-10 in the pump bottles found at your local Walmart or big box stores, rubbing alcohol, dish soap for wiping down plant leaves, potting soil for obvious reasons and for specific plants, nursury pots and other various pot sizes, a lint roller, sticky traps for those darn pesky fungus gnats. Scissors for trimming, plant maintenance, and propagation.
Great video! I've acquired a set of mini tools for repotting, but I haven't had the opportunity to use them yet. I also got a set of stainless steel chopsticks, and those things come in so handy for so many things! I wish I had had them a very long time ago!
Thanks for this video. I like your DIY pest spray and ordered the soap from your Amazon storefront. It was very nice having it so easy to find. I would like to know how you keep track of what plants you fertilize and when? I have a lot of plants that get watered at different times and I never remember which ones got what.
I actually use the Planta app. I don’t use all the features that it offers because some of them are not great. For example, their plant doctor feature does not work well at all, but it’s a great way for me to store picture updates of the plants and track when the last time I fertilized them was. I also use it if I’m having to treat an active pest infestation to keep track of what days I sprayed on.
How/why do you use the clear pots/liners? Do you use them as actual pots instead of regular pots? I haven't seen your previous videos discussing this. Could you please link those here?
I use them like nursery pots and then put them inside of decorative cover pots. Main reason for using clear pots is so I can keep an eye on the roots in case anything starts going wrong. I’m pretty sure all the clear pots that I buy on Amazon are linked to my Amazon storefront and that link is in the description of every single video on my channel.

Been hearing that Neem Cake works great for fungus gnats.
