Aww thank you Lily. I really appreciate hearing that💚💚
Again this is great video , and yes it help me think about it of how take care my plants too .
Thanks and happy to hear it helps
Great recommendations. You got me really curious about that fertilizer. Might have to try it.
Thanks! Lemme know how it work for you
Im interested in a couple things you showed. I need a synthetic 1 scoop fertilizer, no more mixing of the potions! So I'll check out what you have. The Jofamy metal hanging planter is a vibe too! I'm relocating my Plant Room soon, so i'ma go Amazon crazy.
lol yea I don’t have time to be mixing stuff. Deff looking forward to seeing your new plant room set up
Yay another brown plant mom on TH-cam
🙌🏽🫶🏽
I love neem oil. I got mine at Lowes. Yes, it is pure. Not cut with nothing else. It works like a charm too and shout out to the luxurious shine it provides.
Lol at the smells you smell at work. 😂
Lol yes girl it’s wild sometimes but yea I love the shine makes look all fresh and new
Hey Lauren ! Such a great video with really good recommendations ❤ I love that you are dipping into plant decor world. Those hanging planters are so cute I’ve been wanting to get it 🥰 I hope that you continue on plant décor journey and bring us along. Also I’m lovingggg the hair 🥰✨
Hey! thank you thank you!!☺️☺️ im deff excited about it and for sure will be taking you guys along the way
I like neem oil + Castile soap + water for my Alocasia! 😊
Yuuuup knocks them bad boys right out
You look so cute 😍. Amazon really is taking over the world. Once they start selling good plants on there it’s ooooover 💸💸💸
Thank you! And you right about “good” cuz I dunno what they got up there now lol
It HAS to be that Neem Oil concentration!! 😂 I always talk about this specific one to clean leaves specifically. And I always use Dawn soap with it too since I know for sure it kills fleas lmao it must be killing something on these plants too 😂
😂😂 you probably right ain’t nothing getting through all that oil. I’m jus so happy I finally tried it .. something in it is deff working
Hi I love your videos!! I was wondering what kind of lecca do you use & were do you get it?
Thanks! I’ve used a few brands from Amazon. There’s all in my Amazon storefront linked below. My favorite is the legigo brand it’s really smooth and clean and not very dusty

Got me thinking about hanging ceiling planters now 😱 I've seen that fertilizer locally so I might have to try it out!!
I’ve thought of that too!! That would be fire! I jus wonder if I’d wanna have to take it down to water all the time🤔
Neem oil is the bomb! I used it a few weeks ago and the whole household was complaining about the smell. I guess I was trading one headache for another 😂😂
😂😂 it’s worth it tho
My mom says the same thing about neem oil but you have to use the legit neem oil with the Azdirachtin.
Yes agreed!
👍
🙌🏽💚
Lauren, can that be mixed with water? I.e. put it in your watering can?
Yes ma’am! That’s exactly what I do.. mix with 1 gallon of water in water jug and water the plants
@@PlantsNTings Thank you 😊
The fertilizer, I meant. Lol 😂
😂 I understood
On that jacks, don't use it on orchids. It has urea.
Also, deformation was the right word. Sounds like "defamation" but yeah.
I agree on Neem. don't use extracts. Only cold pressed 100% Neem for plants (stuff for skin ime is hit or miss. Smell isn't as strong usually and I bet they try to reduce az. Content since it can be agitating to skin.
I have 4 recipes I use often, and the only difference is amounts.
1- bad Infestation- 4 T Neem, 1.5 grams potassium silicate powder, 1-2 tsp no scented liquid Castile soap or the basic blue dawn. Use 1 tsp first, mix and let sit for 10 min. If it separates add another tsp. Spray every 3-4 days.
2 - medium infestation. 3 tbsp Neem, 1.5 g potassium silicate, and 1-2 tsp soap. Spray every 3-7 days
3 - bugs visible/infestation starting: 2 tbsp Neem, 1.5 g potassium silicate, 1-2 tsp soap. Spray every 3-7 days
Finally 4 - maintenance, preventative: 1 tbsp neem, .75 g potassium silicate, 1/2-1 tsp soap. Spray weekly, or bi weekly, whether needed or not.
I like to wash leaves off before eachvapplication, to get rid of some bugs, maybe break apart any eggs, etc, and to get fresh Neem on all parts of the leaf and stop buildup of the Neem.
As far as the grow lights I PERSONALLY wouldn't recommend those (being said without researching them, they may have a perfectly fine spectrum and intensity) just simply because of the fact that the diodes are on all sides of the bulb, which means that you're going to have some diodes facing a different direction. It would work fine plan to drop the bulb with no shade directly in the center of plants, to kind of get the middle. Other then that a reflector will help but it'll lose a lot of intensity. Not to mention that the lights are usually designed for human eyes, so the spectrum and the colors they use are going to be the most pleasing or helpful to a human, whereas plants need their light in the range of what's called 'photosynthetically active radiation' which is measured in 'umol/m^2/second' (PPFD). There's lots of charts online which give recommended PPFD for these and many other plants, and many cheaper grow lights that are perfect all over Amazon. Just gotta sort through the crap. I'd definitely stay away from anything that has a colored light besides white or yellow, Don't get super low wattage stuff, usually single digit wattages are going to be so dim, you'll have to put them inches from the plants and then they'll only get like one leaf. Look for ones that have Ppfd charts to show what they put off, and look in reviews for reviewers who have checked these lights with a light meter to see if they are accurate. (these companies will often give free lights for good reviews, so be weary of any stellar reviews, and check out the bad reviews if there's a common issue it'll show itslef. They also have a "frequently returned" feature now.
Most newer or higher end phones have the ability to act as a light sensor with an app, they're not quite as accurate but they will get you in the ballpark which is good enough. Last thing I'd say is make sure you get one that have free returns, because the grow light industry is notoriously flooded with false claims and crap.
I was intrigued about why no urea for orchids so I ended up in a deep dive which led me to requesting a test kit for my water😂😂 so thank you
And yea you’re right it’s hard to dig through the tons of lights online if you don’t know what you’re lookin for. I do actually use a shade for that bulb tho so I think it does direct the light for me..and the plants under it seemed to grow well..i do think the wattage was too high maybe or something because it tripped my lamp and started makin a burning smell. 😕
Thanks for always takin the time to drop your knowledge! I’m actually working on a specific lighting video now that I’m understanding more about lighting.
@@PlantsNTings hey if it works for you! That's great! Do t change if it isn't broken!
Loved the video! Thanks for it!
