  • We were among the first to experience Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway at Disneyland Park. We received a guided tour from an Imagineer in the “Mickey Through the Ears” exhibit located in the attraction queue. Then we stepped aboard Disneyland Resort’s newest attraction, Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway in Mickey’s Toontown: attractionsmag...

    Dang, Disneyland made it even better than Disney world. More detailed effects, more quality, and a more extended version of the ENDING!!

      Also DL's underwater scene room isn't as large, so the squid is directly above the exit, and he pulls up the stopper to drain it. In FL you're just sort of suddenly in the drain.

    I guess Disneyland's new scenes are somewhat of extended scenes or remade scenes for each parts (because of how it's built), AND IT'S ACTUALLY PERFECT!!!! I'm guessing it's a longer version of Runaway Railway and I'm dead excited to ride this soon!

  • @justarandomspencer9174
    @justarandomspencer9174 ปีที่แล้ว +58

    Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be any new scenes that were rumored in the community (besides the stretch of barn at the end) but overall it looks like the showrooms are more purpose-built instead of fitted within an existing building. For instance, the segment with Mickey and Minnie's Car looks longer, showing them running into the track switch, which is a better visual representation. The front train segment that you detach from goes forward into a tunnel instead of swerving to the left like you did before. Also at the end, the final scene is long enough that you can listen to the entire song, which is great!
    There is some continuity errors though- on the Disneyland version at 4:22 you see goofy face and wave to the left, when Mickey is actually on the right. This seems to be a re-use of the animation from Disney World without any changes, which is unfortunate given the segment right before has seemingly new animation with the pots falling on Goofy.
    Overall I think the Disneyland version is better, especially when factoring in the queue, but both are awesome rides!

    • @ZippyMike
      @ZippyMike ปีที่แล้ว +4

      yeah i noticed goofy waving to the left the first time i saw these videos this morning, its not a huge deal but riding this ride at disney world a couple times over the years, it brings me out of the immersion a little knowing its the same video used at disney world and my instinct will be to look to the left. They could potentially just reverse or flip that video scene so that goofy is oriented to the right instead of left and it would be a ton better i think. Maybe it will be fixed on opening day who knows... ill be there to find out

    The into scene with Mickey and Minnie with the switch is done much better here as it feels like the room was custom built for that scene, and of course the queue here smacks the Orlando one, but everything else I think I prefer the Orlando version. The underwater scene was downgraded heavily but I do like the perspective trick with the squid pulling the drain plug. The ending transformation is also a downgrade imo.
