    This is wonderful addition to the Disney Studio Park. It’s a fun whimsical ride that deftly uses technology to drop the guest into Mickey’s world. It’s the type of attraction that will attract young and old, because it works on different levels.
    Plus, and this is a big plus, it can easily changed for the seasons. I can see adventures through haunted houses, Christmas holidays overlays with wonderful flurries of snow,, Daisy leading a Christmas Waltz of cars, or 4th of July Fireworks .... gone goofy wrong.. it can alway stay fresh and relevant through the visual/aural architectural design of the ride.
    Congratulations on so many levels

    I really want Disney to improve on the ceiling within these attractions. I am taken out of the breath taking cartoon world, when I look up. I wish that something would make it more immersive. Anything! Painted on clouds or digital clouds and a blue sky. It would make the large rooms feel more like a lived in cartoon world, instead of a room by room diorama of animated shenanigans. The ride is going to take some getting used to. In a good way. I think that it will become a classic one day. I only wish that the ceiling will get some love one day. The theming needs to be from top to bottom Disney. This is 2020. If we can have ride systems such as this, we can have more immersive ceiling designs that link to each scene.

      I thought the same as well, and the ground actually, for example, during the sewer part when you go to the city the effect is kinda gone when you look at the ground and there is no water, if they add a screen with water flowing I think it will complete the effect. Otherwise great looking ride! I can not wait to ride it soon!

      That’s one thing that really took me out of the experience last time I went to Disney. It makes you feel like you’re just in a big warehouse.

      So true. I think this ride suffers more than any other in Disney from this honestly

      i agree with that for especially the ending stars part. i felt like if i looked up i could see stars but they weren’t there :( but i did realize that that room was the same room that other parts of the ride occurred in with a change of screen so they probably couldn’t do something permanent on the ceiling rather than like- a screen on the ceiling too which would be incredible!!

    Looks awesome. Wish they could have this and still have "The Great Movie Ride". Only weakness is the music isn't really catchy. Doesn't have that "ear worm" quality.

    • @andrewcb9255
      @andrewcb9255 4 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      thebunnyfoofoo It might not be catchy but it’s still a solid original song. It’s very inline with the songs in the new Mickey Mouse shorts if you’ve ever watched.

      The only catchy hook was when it sounds like the theme to the Popeye The Sailor Man cartoons. Now only that theme is stuck in my head.

    Just finished up our Disney trip and after doing all four parks, this was declared my favorite ride. Words nor video can express how great this ride actually is. Definitely worth going more than once. I highly recommend this ride as well as Ratatouille in Epcot. Two experiences you absolutely cannot miss.

      This is my favorite ride at HS
      My favorite at Epcot is Frozen.
      My favorite ride at AK is FoP
      I do not have a favorite ride at MK they all suck and I haven't rode Tron yet because I'm waiting for it to go off VQ.

    So cute. Love it. The putting you into the cartoon, the Disney style of a railroad ride, the catchy song, the reference to old westerns, just classic Disney!!! Yes, I liked the old movie ride, but this is just Awesome!!!! Having the main characters in it; Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Daisy...etc. So that kids who yes know, Doc McStuffins, Marvel, whatever. Will not forget the originals...

      It's unfortunate that the Great Movie ride became so outdated that any replacement would be an upgrade

    • @NickyHelp
      @NickyHelp 4 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      @@Cowardlantis1 Hang the outdated. The Great Movie ride is still a favorite to all and a big hit. Even if it came back, which could happen, it wouldn't be a problem. Like Coulson said in Avengers, sometimes the world needs a little old fashion, no matter if it is outdated to few.

      @@NickyHelp IDK, a lot of the animatronics and effects needed to be outright replaced. Like the Footlight Parade scene at the beginning, that was broken since it's first year, so they had to do that thing with the translucent screen!

      @Cauldron-Born What you're describing was not related what I pointed out. You're out of the topic here. And I don't care what you think. You don't know it it will never revisit. Just rode this ride in April.
    It's very good, very clever, and well done.
    It all just works so well, from the screen explosion you then walk through, to the train separating, and the amazing mobility of the trackless ride vehicles.
