0:53 Wow these ducks look so life like, the animatronics have really come along!
Didn’t know you got to meet Donald and Daisy in the queue. 😂
This makes me happy. Thanks for posting.
Glad you enjoyed it
Hi Steve. Glad you are back. Enjoy
Rides in disney is mind boggling
Wonderful view of Pirates, Steve. Thank you so much😊
Glad you enjoyed it
Fond memories ❤
ANOTHER OLD DW RIDE THAT'S AWESOME NAILED IT !! NO CHEAP VEDIEO SCREENS!!
Steve thank you for posting Pirates of the Caribbean. Absolutely my favorite ride 💚✨💚✨💚
My pleasure!
8:09 is so much worse than the waterfall with Davy Jones. Reminds me of this phrase in comedy, a hat on a hat. That's exactly what that effect is. You have no idea what to focus on, the octopus? The skeleton? The fact that it's posed really weird hanging without legs? The ship battle coming up? Last time I went on the ride I was like, wtf? No reaction from the boat I was in too.
The ship battle is the moment Disney. Don't fix what isn't broken.
That looked like a lot of fun.
It is a lot of fun.
Fun Fact in 1967 When the Pirates of the Caribbean opened There were REAL Skeletons..☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️
14:53 I’m glad captain jack sparrow is still around. But, I wish he would be in the sixth movie as 🔜 as possible.
I like the idea of the banjo guy at the beginning being a retired pirate. The overalls weren’t around until the late 19th century. Which again does not make sense of pirates were around the 19th century. But fun fact, they were around, up until the 1850. Jean Lafitte is a well known pirate that operated around Texas and Louisiana during the early 19th century. So in all, the banjo dude at the beginning could very well be a retired pirate living in the bayou of Louisiana. He is reminiscing the good times as a pirate.🏴☠️
Love the pirates.
Me too
Wow no line! Thanks for this, Steve! My favorite ride, I think. (Rise is great, too but this is a classic!)
Glad you enjoyed it
Thanks for this video. It's my favorite ride at Disneyland. That was almost as good as being there except I can't walk down main street at night with all the pretty lights. It's been 12 years since I've been there. I've been 9 times
Glad you enjoyed it!
The Pirates at Disneyland is so much better and a longer ride than at Disneyworld
It’s funny 😆 I didn’t have a chance to visit Disney world.
Nonsense. The whole start of this ride sucks.
Hi Steve
Hello.. 🖐️
AT 4:03 where that hut is now i think there used to be a brick walled side passage that had a water fall; i guess that was replaced by the hut. also at 4:15 whats that blinking red light for? Furthermore, how many feet in length were all 3 waterfalls, the last one which brings the boat back to the surface?
1: i don’t think that hut was a waterfall (as far as i remember, but i’ll ask my family if they remember that).
2: i think the red light is a motion sensor to trigger the dialogue from the skull.
3: im not sure, i’ll have to look that up.
This is the very first pirates then came the others
Yep
Why do they make you walk so much in endless queues with few people?
First time I went on this ride was in 1980. Nice that some things stay the same.
Very cool!
Hello everyone 🤚🏽😎
10:50 the auctioneers arm settles strangely...seems like a malfunction
Still the best Disneyland ride, although it was better before they PC'd it up (we mustn't let pirates be negative role models, must we?) and put in Jack Sparrow. And stacked the rides: they used to time it so you didn't see the boat in front of you. I miss the one pirate who appeared toward the end and looked exactly like Stephen Sondheim.
Personal Computer?
What changes were made?
They cleaned it ? XP
There’s the skeleton holding the treasure chest that turns into a living pirate before the battle scene with Barbossa and the fire is much more intense like what you would see in the prison and warehouse at the end.
@@stinkyginger3018not to mention captain jack sparrow.
We Want The Redhead ! 😁😁😁
GIVE US THE RED HEAD!!!!
They did, and Redd is her name
I Thought Her Name was Jessica Rabbit. 😅😅😅😅😅😅😅@@tsitracommunications2884
Disney Shanghai Pirates of the Caribbean is 100x better than this version!
I agree however can’t beat the original version. Both are great
