    At what point in the down/forward swing should you think about left shoulder back and up to fully rotate to the target. Thanks

    • @CogornoGolf
      @CogornoGolf  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Roughly when hands get between lead arm parallel and hip high (depends on the players pattern)

    Fantastic video! This drill is perfect for me as I tend to struggle with finishing the swing like this... Could be why my handicap gets “streaky” at times.

    How would you say this would work with someone with lead knee issues. I have had 2 knee surgeries (ACL and Broken Patellar), any recommendations for individuals with damaged lead legs.

    • @CogornoGolf
      @CogornoGolf  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey! I'm not sure...I would consult with a doctor on that one....I don't have much experience there.

    • @roberthaar
      @roberthaar 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      As an Orthopedic surgeon who plays golf. Strengthen quads as much as you can and use a knee brace when you play.... Or wait till you’re old enough to get your knee replaced.

    It’s very embarrassing not being able to finish the golf swing. I’ve had both shoulders operated on twice over the years and now I’ve got tears again in both shoulders along with arthritis. My left shoulder is partially frozen now from my last surgery 12 years ago and it causes me to flip after impact. Looks so bad on video. I usually play to an 8 handicap but I muscle/guide the ball around the course and use Phil’s hinge and hold method around the greens so I can score well at times. My personal best is 66 on my home course but like I said when I see my swing on video it’s very embarrassing especially when some of my friends come up to me and say “I hear you’re a good golfer” and I’m thinking I hope they never watch me swing a club because then they would think different. Went to the range tonight and saw a young man with a picture perfect follow through. Really depressed me wondering why I could never get that good. I know a couple a people that can swing like that but in todays world most people won’t go out of their way to help. They paid money to get their swings so they aren’t going to give you advice for free. I’ll keep trying.
