I noticed your shirt first. I love it! Awesome content. I can relate to what you were saying about clients not respecting you with smaller cameras. I've been so afraid of that until I rent large bulky cameras to appease them. It's a mental thing. Its the same whenever someone sees a telephoto lens. It seems to be a great camera. I've only had my M50 for nearly two weeks. I'm still learning to use it. I'm having video issues, but I'll get it. I truly enjoyed your video.

damn you really kitted it out!!!!!! I wanted to get the m50 but I already have a canon SL2 and its just insane I might pick one up!
It is important to point out that not all Canon cameras support LCD screen mirroring, meaning if you connect an external monitor via HDMI your LCD screen shuts off and you lose touch to focus except possibly via Canon connect on your smartphone or iPad. I believe that applies to all APS-C models below the 7D mark ii. I learned that the hard way with my Canon 80d. The EOS R, 5D mark iii and iv, and 1 DX mark ii have screen mirroring.
i read this and almost fainted as I just ordered a monitor...but I have the EOS R....so I should be good...right? RIGHT??? (panics)

OrganicFarmer 95% of the time I shot with “one point autofocus” (sorry I don’t remember the English translation). So if the M50 touchscreen goes black is not a problem. It’s better for batteries. I must also say I usually use a variable ND filter. In daylight I set up shutterspeed, and iso, and then I keep this values fixed for most of the day, just changing the nd filter intensity. So the M50 black screen is not a problem. The external monitor is fantastic to set the correct filter value.
Use a touch screen monitor.....
@@JOMprodBeta you cud have used a Viktor wireless shutter. and put AF in paused mode. and use the focus as like a manual Auto focus by using the remote.

just get an adapter
I use the sigma 18-35 1.8. I think its a great overall lense for pics and videos.
Get a 25mm a 50mm and a variable/macro lense. Look for f/1.8 or lower
Get this adapter www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07K7CQCCN/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and then you can use ANY canon lense. The nifty fifty lense is the best for all around everything. Canon 50mm 1.4 (you wont need the 1.2 with the speedboost / adapter and the diff in cost to quality is dumb. the 1.2 50mm gives you a huge price increase vs 1.4) you can buy another adapter that lets you take any lense and reverse it for Macro shots (only like 10 bucks for the adapter) which is pretty cool and cost way less then having a seperate macro lense.

I ordered this same set up Wooden grip wasn’t threading on. Realized the NATO clamp isn’t in the list so I ordered one should work now. Also the small arm fir monitor and the mount for your handle. I’m not seeing in the small rig handle I purchased from the links in this ?

Hi. I recently purchased a ninja v, and wanted to use it with the M50. However, I loose the touch to focus capabilities of the lcd screen on the M50 plus is there a way to disable the focus point on the M50? Is there a way to still use the touch to focus feature and how do you disable the focus point? It shows up on the ninja V recording. Thank you

Can we use this camera as professional camera for photography & cinamatography/videography.Can we use third party flashes and light triggers(godox light trigger's) on this camera.
My question is that I was looking into the company Custom Battery Grip because it has a holster to put in the batteries to keep your camera charged at all times. But Ive always loved the Smallrig company's version of the rig cage just cuz you can add more attachments. BUT the question I have is, how are you gonna keep your camera charged or attest hooked to a battery at all times? Do you just swap batteries or do you have a setup? I would love to know so I can avoid purchasing the Custom Battery Grip Brand Rig Cane and just settle for Small Rig instead. My main concern on the decision making is battery life.

Video is nice with this camera. But the audio is generally terrible, I find. Even with some of the Rode mics I’ve tried. How did you get good audio with this system?

Since you've gone to Sony did you dump the M50? or are you still using it as a crash cam/B cam since it looks like a sweet small rig for microbudget/low budget productions. Checked the M50's footage from your buddy Justin Reves and its looks great.
Have you tried Atomos Ninja V with the M50? How did that work? There is no video about that on TH-cam, if you do one would be a first and a hit!

nope. I would say it depends on the gimbal. But I believe the balancing will be off and also check the weight it will get.
what about the HDMI cable clamp to secure it....? are you using one...?
