And I thought I was organizing it well hehe
I loved the use of shortcuts. I've already done it with linked tables in Notion, but I didn't think about doing it in Drive.

I have settled on these top folders
    - Subjects (for developed material used across years. Subfolders by subject and those by unit.)
    - Classes (For timely documents. Sections always named by year. When a year completes, I create a year folder and drag all the sections in there.)
    - Admin (Department meetings, calendars, memos from admin, etc. Named with date. Like Classes, old years are archived into year folders.)
    - Resources (Support documents that aren't related to a specific unit of my classes. Ebooks. Research. Cross-curricular, projects.)
This has worked extremely well for me since I started working with Drive in 2010. The main philosophy is to keep timely document named by time separate from timeless documents. Context always needs to be in the name, or after two years, you won't be able to search for anything.
