Moen After Dark: Clemson and Florida State In the Same Boat on Conference Realignment.
With the chalk that #clemson and #floridastatefootball are both plotting their course to the #bigten in #conferencerealignment we will be going in depth on exactly who is covering the freight. Will the #acc survive or will it take on enough water to cause a mass exodus? Will there be any castaways? Can we fit in more nautical puns? - กีฬา
Thanks for joining us for those who watched live but for everyone- drop in your too early but not too early picks for - the P4 champs, and the full CFP 12 including G5 automatic bid winner. Dark horse to emerge outside of your predictions as well!
Let’s see those lists!
I think fsu could announce departure on 8/15, forcing Acc to name the exit cost publicly... which then judge decides thru the burden of proof falling onto the Acc, if it is justified or outlandish
The endgame in the courts would be resolved by Christmas
@@joe_zeaygrinch or Santa?
Wrong! FSU and Clemson will be stuck in the ACC!
@@jmath1978no they won’t. Even the ACC doesn’t think that
Rock and Rant is funny as hell his sign says ACC “ it just means less” 😂😂😂😂😂 you need to sell that as shirts
I try to change it up each week lol
@@RockandRant1 naw man make shirts and sell those I’d definitely buy one with all teams on it
@@Almighty5-ww1kl have to come up with a alternate logo for the ACC so I don’t go to court lol
Love the show with Rock and Rant now.
Thank you. I owe you your Venmo 😂
With the B1G 22 teams make the schedule easier. It's because they play 9 confrence games. 3 out of confrence, 3 protected games but not necessarily rival games and a 6 team rotation every three years. Every team plays every team every three years.
If they go to 24 then ten games in confrence would work the same.
If the Big 10 adds Clemson & FSU they will go to 20 and stop. They will wait for ND.
@davidbrown386 the B1G will add as long as the school bring value to confrence. People need to stop with them waiting on Notre Dame angle. They haven't yet nor will they wait. If they wantvto join they will take them but they don't need them.
Here is my prediction: A settlement with the ACC & Clemson & FSU will happen after August 15 ( the drop dead date when they can announce they are leaving for 2025) and 02/01/2025 when ESPN can opt out. Why? The ACC needs to make sure ESPN is locked in until 2037, before negotiations begin with Clemson, FSU & any school that might want to leave ( UNC & UVA?). I am predicting 2026 for the ACC exits.
Wrong! FSU and Clemson will be stuck in the ACC!
Not sure those schools will wait if their supporters are accurate but makes sense
I think you might be correct about the first part but not the second. I simply don’t see UNC and UVA going to the P2. College football has come to totally dominate college athletics. And CFB is now a multibillion dollar a year entertainment business. It’s all about the money now. P2 conferences brag endlessly about their media contracts and payout. And it’s all about brands now, not markets. Alabama draws well in Seattle and Ohio State draws well in San Diego. It’s fact that conference realignment revolves around football. Not one program moved because of academics or basketball. None. For a program to be considered for a P2 invite, they better have strong viewership numbers and revenue generation track record. Both UNC and UVA fail to come anywhere near 2024 expectations. I have nothing against either school but just look at the data and the latest programs added to the P2. The criteria that the P2 used last is a pretty clear barometer of what they will do next. Football. Football. Football.
FSU’s fanbase is mighty peeved at Miami for voting to sue them. Miami people are saying that Miami only voted to hold a vote, not to vote to sue. We now know for a fact that Miami voted to sue. Very disappointing. Zero respect for them now.
Talk about Karma. The “Worst Case Scenario” for Miami would be the Big 10 takes Clemson & FSU, and Miami is stuck in the ACC or has to go to the Big XII. That is looking more and more likely for the backstabbing Hurricanes.
Clemson and Florida State to the Big Ten
lots on that train for sure
