I recently applied for Employment Insurance, but every time I receive a letter, it's always unclear whether my claim was accepted. Most information I've been given seems to imply it was, but they never actually come out and say it. And I've tried a TON of different ways of finding out!

I wasn't sure what that was until I was diagnosed with STAGE 4 Alveolar Soft Part Sarcoma (a SUPER rare type of cancer for which there is NO CURE).
I decided to embrace my motto of Living Out Loud and started sharing my journey in vlog format.

Same crap in the UK, they do a breakdown of everything and it's so confusing. Just tell me in simple terms what I'm getting (or not) for goodness sake!! 😡
That is because it's a government agency and they like to watse paper and time. If they deny,refile because a large % is automatic deny.

If the money is going in your bank account then Just go check your bank account balance .

Thank God we are lucky here in Germany! We have our insurance card and go to the doctor.
It sounds like you were approved. They already said for August you would not get it. September I believe you will begin getting checks. They certainly could be more clear for sure!!!
I can empathise. Things have gotten really bad since Covid. It is getting harder and harder to connect with humans in the government or even banks. I fear with AI it is only going to get worse. 😢
It sounds like your claim was accepted. They just deducted the vacation pay that you had so you will not get a cheque for the time you mentioned. They need your info to route the next cheque into your account. You will have so many months you can collect then it will need to move over to short or long term disibility.

I can imagine your frustration. It is bad enough that we are all subject to this in " normal" day to day life but its awful that those in your situation are subject to it too. Good luck, hope it has been approved.

If your health is getting worst, how you recieve medical attention in Nicaragua??? Thats crazy. You will suffer. Stay wirh your family they love you and they taken care of you.
Your wife... i mean sorry, but how often you stayed with her? A couple of weeks? Month? She still have no visa, this is obviously and tells everyrhing.

Good point. I don't think he's going down there for treatment. His doctor told him to go, he didn't have long to live (Christmas). It all depends on the next visit, which might be today or tomorrow. I am not 100% on this. I don't know much about his wife except he says his talks with her on the phone is how he stays positive. I hope it's not as you think. That would be the worst.
@@JerseyLynne yeah no treatment does not mean to be without palliative care. This is a very big thema. Clima is anorher and food. Nothing better like it is now. . He told in a video he support his wife AND her family. She do not speak same language . Of course she love him, i mean life insurances ist the golden Word and unfortunally he make that clean early.
I mean everything is ok, if he feels ok wirh that. But evenv the really heathy men with a good money in the pocket struggle in relationships like that. And then the worst near end of life and no family there, no way back home and no palliative care., plus his thoughts spinning around that Thema and stresses him out. He Haß enougj money to stay here and everything needet is near. He has to have now bring Focus on himself. That will be enough for the next time...Nicaragua. ok, bit first he need his health in order

I agree it isnt wise for him to go to Nicaragua because whether the doctors are right or not he needs good medical services. Whether it is treatment or just palliative care, the quality matters. Moreover ttavelling in his condition might be too tough for him. I dont know if his wife lives near the airport or in the interior. It only makes sense for her to visit him.
It’s better for you stay here and stay with your dad. You know he loves you.
@@Gruft-Schnorchler Although it's really not our business, I too question this marriage and Guillaume leaving all his life insurance to this woman ( wife ) he just met in-person for a few weeks... You'd think he would leave all that money to family, like his Dad or even his young niece for her college fund etc. My uncle made the same decision, when he had married a young thing in Cuba, 30 years younger than himself. When he died of cancer in Cuba, she ( still living in Cuba) got all his insurance money, then told our family she "threw away his ashes in the garbage." Never heard from her since. 😡

In this day and age , their systems are all linked. Immigration will alert them as to whether he is resident in the country.😂
I was on unemployment and went to Mexico. It was no problem. Check went into my bank account as usual.

@@GrandmothersRule how long were you away? In some countries they have a time frame, like if you are away more than a certain period you are deemed non resident.
