These are nice options. I can’t tell you how glad I am that the tyranny of skinny jeans is over. I never liked them, never wore them. I don’t think they are flattering for most women - only for the very young, very slim. I really like the idea of the skort.
These are wonderful suggestions Kay! ❤️ As I’m in the over 60 group I find that I don’t like to wear shorts out as much as I used to. Dresses especially have become a favorite to keep cool and stylish in the Midwest heat. There are so many out there to dress up or down.

Old Navy has some very nice linen blend wide leg pants with elastic/drawstring waist. This year they are a little more cropped than in the past. They come in several neutral colors and the linen blend keeps them from wrinkling as much as 100% linen. Prices are great too.
I just wanted to add a great linen pant option. Nordstrom has a Caslon brand full length relaxed linen pant that is amazing! I love my white ones. I wear them with a more fitted black tank. They come in other colors and are my go to summer pants. 👍🏼

For me in the summer - shorts are for home and all your above-mentioned ideas are for outside the home. I love everything that you share; I do not live in the States but I can find similar items in Eastern Europe (most of the year) and Canada (home for the holidays).

I always wear shorts. But I do have a chino skirt. I need to find it in my closet. I have linen pants and shirts. I know summer just started, but it’s way too hot this year. We had no spring in Georgia. Our air went out in our truck. It got fixed the next week. My daughter’s air in their vehicle went out the same time. Theirs got fixed real quick too. I love your videos. They are so helpful with me deciding what I should wear this summer. But, I can’t wait until fall already.

Great video! This year I got my first ever pair of linen cropped wide leg black pants, and I'm in love. I've always gravitated to skirts and dresses in the summer rather than shorts however I would have the problem of the chafing between the inner thighs. I've tried different solutions, but now my favorite thing to do is to wear a pair of dry wicking lightweight cotton biker shorts underneath. They're short enough not to show, stretchy enough not to feel like a second layer, and they actually evaporate moisture when I sweat. I bought a couple of pairs and they wash-and-wear well thankfully. Then I bought more dresses LOL
I absolutely love your videos! However, do you know anyone who could model for you that is short waisted and large breasted? Your body shape is perfect for all of the clothes you model and you always look BEAUTIFUL! Thank you for your inspiration!

I'm one of your under-50 subscribers. :) I wear shorts in the summer, but more often, I wear a knee-length dress or skirt. I like to have variety. I haven't thought about skorts recently, and I need to look for some of those that I like.

Great options, though I’m not sure that in my 60’s I can pull off wearing a skort. They do look attractive on ladies younger (and thinner) than me in my 60’s. I really do like your trouser selections. I’m on the hunt for pants alternatives to jeans, so thank you for this! On that same theme, the one fashion trend I hope is on its way out is the front tuck. IMO, this always looks sloppy or as though someone was too lazy to tuck in all the way, even though we know this was done intentionally.

You know what -- I really liked the bright pattered bottoms! As an older woman -- (ancient) -- I sometimes like to avoid being the old lady with the solid color bottoms and a "bright" top. IMHO the bright, patterned bottom with a chic, simple, solid color top looks really modern and chic! Personally I would do a basic black, white or navy top with a patterned bottom and not pull out a color from the pattern. A bright print with the matching bright color pulled out for a top and look a bit too cute for me. Another great idea I just got from looking at your patterned bottoms would be a large cloth tote in a bright pattern with a simple outfit. Or a bright patterned scarf tied onto a tote bag. Thanks for giving me some fresh ideas for using prints!
Love your happy attitude. You look great in bright colors and I don't. I would like to see some neutrals in the Ralph Lauren type clothes ideas. Also since I am 5' 1" I have a difficult time with pants being too long in the crotch. Help! Buying on line is really hard with this issue. Is there a brand to look for? Thanks ☺️

I had a lovely Eileen Fisher white pants, sleeveless shirt and a blouse. I bought the pieces in 1998 and wore them until they wore out, and I gained some weight, 20 years later. Got my money’s worth!

I've come to the conclusion that this 'Grammy' doesn' look good in shorts unless it is around the house without an audience.. The other day, I bought three very short skirts that have shorts underneath for modesty. I think they will work great for cycling.

I totally Disagree on older women the Cropped pants Make thighs , knees, calves, ankles look Thicker and legs definitely shorter AGING BIG TIME LON ANY N ALL BODY SHAPES
And most definitely Throw All Capris in rag box or trash AGING SOOOOO MUCH !!!!
