Another inspiring video. I’ve been having chemotherapy, my last one was today! Yay! While feeling unwell, I’ve been watching your videos and building the wardrobe essentials I didn’t have by online shopping. I used to like my hair, but currently don’t have any! I like my eyes and my wrists, so I’ve treated myself to a few new bracelets. 🥰I loved the wedding photos. ❤️
Bless you sweet gal! Here’s to a speedy recovery and remission! I’m so glad you liked the wedding photos. It was such a special day. And thank you for sharing your assets even after losing your pretty hair. That takes courage and a right spirit. What a lovely example for us all🙌🏻
Kay, your hair style in this video is your best look! Such a bright face and enthusiastic manner! Your hair frames your face and is relaxed but modern! Keeping us going! Thanks
Great video…I too am a Talbots girl, at 5’3”, their petites fit me perfectly. But I’m trying to branch out, my assets..my legs (yes I wear shorts at 68 years old) and my waist. But I think the most important thing I try to wear at all times is my smile. It’s so important to me that others feel they can approach me, and me them. If you see someone w beautiful hair or a pretty top or whatever, it’s so important to tell them…sometimes it makes their day. We never know what people are going through.
Agree on outfits. Capsule wardrobe I learned years ago. Everything mixes with everything in your closet. Keep colors to a strict minimum. Have basic neutrals. I like Black, White and Khaki/Taupe. Follow wardrobe essentials and don’t fall for fads. This was your best video advice ever !
I am retired but like to get dressed and not hang around in PJs or slouchy clothes. I do wear athleisure wear if I am going to play Pickleball, but change when I get home. I have nice jeans and dresses that I wear. Today I have my white jeans, beige Italian v-neck and my knee length cashmere sweater, as it is still a bit cool. Plus my slip on black stretchy loafer type shoes. You always have good hints and the colour palette idea is always helpful. Re: What do I like about myself…..I am 5’7” and have really good posture. My legs are pretty decent, but look better in tights or leggings under dresses. I am 66 and feel that I look pretty stylish. My favourite designers are Michael Kors and Joseph Ribkoff for dresses. Tribal and Liverpool Jeans are my go to for casual wear. My jewellery is a bit funky or vintage.
Hair and eyes are my two features. And here’s a funny…I never received compliments on my hair until I stopped coloring and straightening it!! Loved this video!
Excellent reminders on the importance of having those basic pieces in our wardrobe that blend well. I’m also a Talbots girl. I very much dislike shopping and trying on clothes. I’m 5’1” and small framed. I can count on finding clothes that fit when I go to Talbots, but appreciate your comments about shopping other stores. Reading comments from other petite ladies and seeing where they are finding quality clothing that fits well is helpful. Many thanks to the ladies that shared where they find items and to you for another great video. I like my teeth and my smile. At 73, I still wear my retainer every night and whiten my teeth when needed. I want my smile to let others know I am approachable.
My legs have always been my best asset and since I stopped coloring my hair and blow drying it, I’m living the grey and subtle waves. Trying to branch out from Talbots. Recently lost 15 lbs, so I am building a new wardrobe as $ allows. Thanks for your tips.
I really get allot out of videos like this one! Allot of excellent information. I like my eyes and my waist! So nice to have a wardrobe that works together! Love your MOB dress and your daughter is as beautiful as her Mother!
Thank you for useable and easy to follow advice. I am not starting out feeling overwhelmed. My favorite features are my long legs and my skin and hair.
I have been doing crossfit for the last 5 years and thanks to that I am in the best shape ever! I am not embarrassed by any part of my body and am proud of how strong I look and feel. The 2 places I am most proud of is my back/shoulders and hips/legs. All the lifting and squatting with weight transformed everything in my body. Can you tell I love it???
I try, when purchasing new clothes, to think of 4 or 5 ways I can wear the item with the clothes I already own. It's similar to packing for travel. Limit your colors and make sure items will work together. It makes that daily clothing selection much easier.
Brooks Brothers and Ralph Lauren always sell quality classic basics. Macy’s sells a reasonably priced RL line. And as for the color red, ♥️ it’s a great color to wear when you look /feel tired, bc it makes you look /feel more alive, powerful, enthusiastic, assertive, exciting, and courageous! 😃
after 25 years on the mission field, we are back in the US and just 2 weeks ago I've gone back to working outside the home. Glad I discovered your channel a year ago, sure don't have everything mastered, but such great (and much needed tips for me) as I try and build a wardrobe, without breaking the bank. I really see that having both a black tank or t, and a white tank or t has helped me to create numerous outfits, also I'm discovering that belts really pull an outfit together, as you have helped me see. always get compliments on my hair, naturally grey/silver, slim hips and thighs
Another awesome video. Two positives about myself….People always compliment my hair and I truly make an effort to look nice and put together when I leave home.
Hi Kay- I loved seeing you and the bridesmaids praying-a very cherished moment for all of you! I like my smile and feet-I’d never really thought about that so thanks for pointing it out!!
I just discovered Boston Proper after losing 45 lbs and I ❤ them!! They even have a system where you can determine your size in their clothes based on your size with other brands. So many of there pieces are well constructed and fit me perfectly! I love bright jewel tones and they have many of those in addition to the neutrals. I’ve been having such fun getting pieces and coordinating them to create different outfits.
Great tips - the one of not buying just from one brand resonated with me, as well as not just buying "hero" pieces but good basics. Best features? Eyes, hair, slim ankles and wrists, hands (I accentuate with a pretty manicure!)
Another great video with excellent tips. I appreciate how you encourage women to express themselves in what they enjoy wearing and what makes them feel happy. And it’s funny how we enjoy (sincerely) complimenting others , but are so self-deprecating when we receive compliments. So here goes: I receive compliments on my height and posture, my smile, my sincerity when making small talk, my “courage” in letting my thick and wavy hair go grey, and my eyes. They are “denim blue” and that is definitely my best colour. I wear the usual neutrals but also cranberry red, and a couple of hot pink and turquoise sweaters. I have weeded out of my closet articles that really only work with one other item, and although Talbots fits both my body and my style aesthetic, I also have items from Coldwater Creek and other less-well-known brands. Goodbye matchy-matchy “
Good ideas! Since doing a 3x/wk fun piyo class for years I am actually good with my legs!! ( Lots of squats and lunges.) A smile and a little make-up light up my face. Thanks Kay!
Great advice. My professional color analysis 40 years ago was super-useful, but I eventually eliminated some of the “recommended colors”. I just found that I didn’t love them, or they were difficult to style. I’m a summer-type and the first to go were the purples.
oh my goodness - what a challenge! I am ok with drawing attention to my face. Fashion/body wise - I would have to say....oh dear....I have to think about it.
I love your channel and your positivity! And that pink lipstick looks so pretty on you! My favorite feature is my long, slim legs, although many people compliment me on my smile. I am a "soft autumn", so my neutrals are navy, oatmeal, taupe, and khaki. For accent colors I love dusty rose, periwinkle, sage, sea green, and a soft aqua.
You caught me with 2 points! I love color and can't seem to focus on only a few. I've added yellow this season because I've been hypnotized into lemon motifs since I just returned from vacation in Italy, and they are everywhere. Now I see lemons all over the place this spring! The other thing I'm guilty of is an addiction to Chicos with a bit of Talbots since I was ordering online during COVID. I will watch that habit now and expand my horizons. I like featuring my legs and my eyes and hope to avoid the middle. Your daughter's wedding pictures were lovely. What beautiful colors for the bridesmaids' gowns, too. I really enjoyed you sharing the day with us.
Beautiful wedding pics of you, daughter and family. Your dress was stunning. Thank you for sharing! I like my eyes, height and waistline. Thank you for these extremely helpful tips.
Kay, you are so right! I used to shop at black and white all the time as their size fits me well. During the last two years, I branched out to other brands with petite line and offer more natural fiber, more relaxed style. It has been a lot more fun to mix and match between different brands. I like my defined waist and toned legs. I guess I am supposed to wear short skirts to show off my legs, but I am more gravitated to knee length or midi skirts as they are so versatile and feminine.
Yes, it can be more fun to mix and match between different brands and styles. Petite lines are a great option for those with a smaller frame as they offer more tailored and flattering fits. Knee length and midi skirts are great options if you want to achieve a more feminine look. They can be easily dressed up or down and can be complemented by various tops and accessories to create different looks. You can also experiment with different colors and prints to create unique and interesting outfits.
Talbots is a favorite of mine too! I buy a little from JJill for more casual things, and occasionally I'll find a cute jacket at Chico's. My favorite features to highlight are my face, which I do by choosing colors that suit me and pretty earrings. Also my small waist, by always having some waist definition in my outfit. I really enjoyed this video Kay, not just for the great tips you always give, but because you just radiate joy! I hope you had a wonderful time at your daughter's wedding!
Thank you Kay for another great video, just to add, what a beautiful photograph of you and your daughter on her wedding day, I saw it on Instagram, hope all went well, x
Thanks for asking us all such a positive question. I love to show off my hands (with rings) and my collar bones. I am a very skilled second hand shopper, so my wardrobe is not too matchy but I always need to remind myself to wear just one "leading lady" piece --unless it is a very dressy event.
Thank you for your great videos. I’m a Talbots girl too but I also shop Loft. My two favorite things I like to accentuate are my petite hourglass body shape and small feet. I wear size 5 shoes and I love Talbots shoes.
Thanks for the encouragement. I have beautiful blue eyes and a lovely shade of gray hair. I'm not happy with my weight so I make an effort to pull the eye up to my face and hair.
During the lockdown, I got a bit carried away with online shopping and bought items outside of my usual palette. That’s when the warm beige, camel and rust tones were so prevalent in 2020, but they just don’t suit me. After a few more wearings in the autumn, I’m going to pass them on. These additional colors only added confusion to my wardrobe! My bulging wardrobe needs to slim down, a lot.
Hi Kay. David Zyla has a great system for selecting your personal colours. 1) green eyes 2) hour glass shape Great tips and I like how you itemized them in a closet - very creative!!
Hi Kay this was such a good video. I especially like the idea of shopping for my closet and not for an outfit. My positive features face ( inherited my moms high cheek bones) and waist which is well defined. My turned 78 a few days ago and she is gorgeous!!!!
Thank you. Dear Kay. You are so potitive, it’s a good thing for me. I like my hair and my mouth. I put every day lipstick. Bravo for the wedding. Thank you for the photos. Bye I follow your video every week end from south of France.👏🌸
Tip #3 from your terrific video really resonates with me. I often have clothes nipped in and altered so that they really fit perfectly. I too shop at Talbots, Chicos, and Ann Taylor-but also enjoy purchasing some unique pieces from boutiques in my area. I’m always on the hunt for something special to spice up my overall classic wardrobe. Best features: exactly with you on that-eyes, waistline, and shoulders. Shoulders usually stay attractive no matter how many birthdays have passed! Have a great week and weekend, and thank you for these well thought out tips! 🙋♀️💝
Good post. Lots of good tips. I would have to say my 2 favorite things about me are my eyes and legs. I wear a lot of blue and pink, accent my blue eyes and red is another favorite color of mine. I love Talbots myself and Ann Taylor. I think you can find really good nice pieces in both lines.
This is excellent advice! Thank you. I think a real turning point for me and my style was really figuring out what neutrals were my signature. Black, Navy, and gray. Then whenever I'm shopping I can ask myself how will this look with those colors? It seems very limiting at times however as I've collected bottoms in those neutrals, it's become much easier to buy tops in varying seasonal colors. If I want to wear a color that doesn't look good with my neutrals say yellow for instance, then I buy a dress. There are many colors that I can quickly bypass when shopping such as Olive, Brown, camel even if they are trending. If I want to experiment with a new color, I just buy an inexpensive t-shirt first.
I'm so glad I found you... I just retired from school. I'm working on building a new wardrobe. I love my gray hair and my hazel eyes. Have lost 10 lbs and am going for 30 more. So putting just a few new pieces in till I get to my goal weight. Thanks for your help.
My thick, wavy grey hair gets a lot of compliments. I have good legs, so skirts and dresses are my friend. Macy's "Style & Co." carries a good selection of clothes that fit me well, but I also like Land's End and Nordstrom.
What a great video Kay! Your build a wardrobe tips are so helpful. I too love Talbots! Quality Petite sizes are often difficult to find. But as I age even Talbots clothes are not fitting as well as they did years ago. Darn menopause 🤦🏻♀️ My best features are my eyes, hair and torso.
I have great eyes and a great smile saw I tend to use my makeup to draw attention to these areas. I love a blue red lipstick color and use browns and mauves to play up my eyes. I'm wearing blue, greens and orange this Spring and Summer.
Great video Kay. I too love Talbots but have also been adding really good basics from a few other brands. I agree something in the mix is fresh and I feel more like me.
Yes, just today I wore a pair of their paisley print crops. But I completed the outfit with a great white tee from another brand. That one little basic piece made such a difference.
I love your videos, we have a lot of the same style but I think I throw in more trends. I’m trying to drastically downsize my wardrobe because it is sometimes overwhelming to me! My best assets I feel or my blue eyes that are a family trait along with all my siblings, even nieces and nephews. My waist is small compared to my hips so I’m really enjoying a lot of the trends now. I was listen more than watching the video so I must go back and see wedding photos. Congratulations to everyone 💛
Great tips Kay! My signature colors are very similar to yours with the exception to the green. Cobalt blue and hot pink are two of my absolute favorites to wear. They bring me real joy. The also accentuate my blue eyes and my skin. My coloring is similar to yours as well. I’m nearly 100% Danish in my heritage. That means I have pale skin, blue eyes, blonde hair that is mostly grey these days. Cool tones look best on me so I love the way a “blue” Red pops on me. I try to stay way away from “orange” red! It just makes my skin look sallow. My neck/chest area, collar bones and shoulders are another area that I don’t mind showing off tastefully. Keeping the eye drawn to my face helps me not feel so insecure about my pear shape!
We have a lot in common! I'm Finnish and Swedish, pear shape, and look best in cobalt blue and dark or bright cool colors. I wear wide leg pants in dark colors and emphasize my smaller top and waist with either waist length tops/jackets or duster cardigans and blazers past the hips. I also sew thin shoulder pads (from Amazon) in my denim jackets and moto jackets. My daughter said shoulder pads are out of style but she agrees my jackets look better on me with shoulder pads.
Hi Kay. Good tips today. You look truly beautiful in you MOB dress! I like my height (I’m 5’8”) and my big brown eyes. I would need think to focus on the things I like unless prompted! Thanks.
Hi Kay, I’m enjoying your blog and videos! I hope to build a wardrobe similar to your own. I like your style. Let’s see…calves and hourglass-ish shape are two features I am positive about. 😊 Thank you and take care!
Thanks for keeping us on task Kay! My positives: eyes, clavicle and (finally, post menopause) thighs that are in proportion. May I add, the combination of the top and blazer colors are so flattering on you and very pleasing in general.
I agree with your comment about buying from more than one brand. In fact, I'm trying to find retailers I'm not familiar with to add different things to my wardrobe. My favorite brands are Ann Taylor, Loft, Chicos and Talbots and that's about all that's in my closet. Any suggestions on retails other than those? My two positives: My face/eyes and my waist...perhaps that's my hourglass shape.
I recently went to Talbots for the first time because I don’t care to wear bright colors . I was surprised that they actually carry some more muted colors which I prefer.
Thanks again for such a informative video and one in which I will definitely apply 😀 ok here goes my favorite part about me ,myself and I is my legs ,my lips and midsection. I've been working out regularly so I'm thinking in the near future I will be able to add my Deira ❤
Just realised I have nothing that makes me feel good- that's why I love watching your videos for tips!! Always seem to buy things that don't quite fit, too Best features- my feet, my hands ( before they got old and wrinkly 😥) maybe my blue eyes... Thanks for these great tips, I am slowly learning!
Thanks for another good video. I like my hair and figure, although my figure needs a little work at the moment. It is important not to look like a walking billboard for one store. Thanks for the tips.
Hey Kay, another wonderful video. I always learn from them. I have an Apple shape, so I have a challenging time finding styles that are flattering. I’m also trying to be a minimalist as I cannot afford to buy too many different outfits. I really like my slim face and neck and shoulder areas. I also like my legs and brown skin tone.
Thanks for the good tips! I especially liked #7: Don't shop for outfits shop to build a wardrobe. I usually shop to build my wardrobe yet realized that sometimes I shop for outfits. Those usually end up being the pieces I rarely wear because they don't "fit" my overall wardrobe. And, finally........I like my eyes, my body proportions and my legs.
All good tips - there is definitely a Talbot's look - more so than any other brand, IMHO.! JJill & Chico's too -but their style is not quite as distinctive as the madras, preppy colors and slightly matronly things at Talbots. Adding something more modern to these styles can help to lessen the "uniform" look. My positives are my silver/white hair and my eyes. My legs too, but I only show them off in the winter, when I can where tights, as they are a good shape, but very colorful with all the veins!
Your 7 tips on a wardrobe are not only good reminders when shopping but also on how to put together an outfit. I have limited myself, also, to one store because I can quickly find clothes that have "my name on them when I walk in." LOL Thanks for sharing with us. My two positives: my natural salt and pepper long hair and my hour glass shape.
Even after getting back to my pre menopausal weight I still carry weight around my midsection , and I’m self conscious about wearing anything that doesn’t flow over this area. I find this limiting and wish I could get over my self consciousness about that area. I’m an apple shape with slender hips and legs. Love your videos!
I feel that my eyes (brown) are one of my best assets, especially since I am a natural redhead! I cannot stand crewneck or tight around the neck shirts or dresses, and wear mostly v neck or square neck tops. Luckily my chest area is also an asset. I am short (5’2”) and besides neutrals wear clothing that is either a royal blue, emerald green, or a deep burgundy, with an occasional turquoise top thrown in.
Ahh, yes. I definitely shop a lot at Talbots. But I’m really trying to spread the love these days! They’re actually having a good 30% off deal right now.
Good morning, Kay, and thank you, for this great video. Very helpful and informative. Thanks. Kay, people complement me on my hair, and smile. I like to smile. God bless u, for all u do, for u work full time, and u make time to prepare this video. 🙏🥰✝️👍👏🌺🌹🌼🌸❤️🌷⭐️
I think I look good in form fitting jeans and denim just above the knee slim skirts. I am looking for crop shirts/tops that hit just below my belly button I don't have to tuck in. It also hides my stomach and lengthen my leg area. I shop many brands including J. Jill for jeans mostly. I bought a white sweater at Talbots this past winter and I wore it out, it went with everything.
Good Morning Kay So many great and inspiring tips today. I too am a Talbots shopper and really like your tip on mixing brands rather than having a closet full of just one brand. My positive s would be my eyes and my somewhat defined waistline. I am still working on the waistline!!!!
My closet has at least ten or more white t shirts. I wear them with my shorts. And the rest is bright colors. I don’t think I ever wear black. It’s too hot for me in the summer. The thing I like best about myself is my eyes and hair. I like my legs. But my feet not so much. But I wear shorts all summer. I have some bad veins, but that doesn’t bother me. I’m still going to put my shorts on everyday. I’m going to be comfortable. I think if I’m comfortable I feel more put together. I also bought some skirts this year. And I haven’t been anywhere to wear them yet. One of my granddaughters has a birthday next week, maybe I’ll wear one to their house. She is going to be five and she wears dresses al the time. So I bought her a couple dresses, a denim jumper with a bright pink t shirt and a romper. She has to wear shorts sometime. This girl is five going on twenty five. She is a fashion diva. I hope she likes what I got for her. If not, I’ll give her mom the receipt and she can exchange them. But she will be looking good this summer.
I am pretty tall and thin, 5'10" 128lbs. I've never have had a problem with gaining weight, mine was the opposite, when I was a kid I was way too skinny!! So my endless legs ,small waist, toned arms and shoulders are my best assets. My style is preppy, so l shop at Tommy Hilfiger, Ralph Lauren and the gap.
I like my eyes and face, I like to bring attention to that part of myself. I find that hard to do since I do not like scarf’s or showing my bust or wearing bold necklaces. Any other suggestions?
Perfect. Maybe wear some pretty earrings. They don’t need to be bold or fussy, just adding a little light will help. And wearing lipstick actually helps brighten our eyes too.
You asked what I like about myself, that would be my legs and arms. Thanks for asking. It is a little uncomfortable talking about what you like, but practice helps.
Another inspiring video. I’ve been having chemotherapy, my last one was today! Yay! While feeling unwell, I’ve been watching your videos and building the wardrobe essentials I didn’t have by online shopping. I used to like my hair, but currently don’t have any! The best to you!!
Prayers for you 🙏
Bless you sweet gal! Here’s to a speedy recovery and remission! I’m so glad you liked the wedding photos. It was such a special day. And thank you for sharing your assets even after losing your pretty hair. That takes courage and a right spirit. What a lovely example for us all🙌🏻
Good recovery 🙂

Hello Deborah, how are you doing?
Great advice! I’ve been told that it’s my smile and eyes so that’s where I’ll focus! Thanks Kay

Wow! I love your thoughtful color choices. So smart! 💕
Hello Marva, how are you doing?
Thanks!
Thank you so much for your SUPER THANKS contribution, Debbie. That was so generous of you. ⭐️🌟✨
Perfect! 🙌🏻 Thanks for sharing, Diane.
Hello Diane, how are you doing?
Your hair really really looks good, make you look younger, rested, fresh.
Hello, Kay! My two favorite areas of my body are my ankles and my natural grey hair. Thanks
Thank you so much, Carol. You ladies make this fun for me. We had a beautiful wedding. Just lovely!
Thank you Kay for another great video, just to add, what a beautiful photograph of you and your daughter on her wedding day, I saw it on Instagram, hope all went well, x
Thanks so much Sarah. 🥰
Thanks for asking us all such a positive question. I love to show off my hands (with rings) and my collar bones. I am a very skilled second hand shopper, so my wardrobe is not too matchy but I always need to remind myself to wear just one "leading lady" piece --unless it is a very dressy event.
Oh I’m so envious. I wish my hands were an asset. Thank you for sharing. 🥰
Hello Mame, how are you doing?
Thank you for your great videos. I’m a Talbots girl too but I also shop Loft. My two favorite things I like to accentuate are my petite hourglass body shape and small feet. I wear size 5 shoes and I love Talbots shoes.
Thanks for sharing!!
Great advice. Thank you so much. I’ve learned so much from you in the past month I’ve been following you.
It’s White House Black Market for me, love it! Lol
Hello Kimberly, how are you doing?
The blue blazer and matching top bring all the attention to what you're wearing instead of highlighting you
Hi Kay. David Zyla has a great system for selecting your personal colours. 1) green eyes 2) hour glass shape Great tips and I like how you itemized them in a closet - very creative!!
Thank you, Sherry. I’m so glad you liked the video. I’ll have to check out your recommendation.
Hi Kay this was such a good video. I especially like the idea of shopping for my closet and not for an outfit. My positive features face ( inherited my moms high cheek bones) and waist which is well defined. My turned 78 a few days ago and she is gorgeous!!!!
Wonderful! Thanks so much for sharing those assets. 🥰
Thank you. Dear Kay. You are so potitive, it’s a good thing for me. I like my hair and my mouth. I put every day lipstick.
Bravo for the wedding. Thank you for the photos. Bye I follow your video every week end from south of France.👏🌸
Wonderful! Thank you so much for watching, Nelly. And thanks for taking the challenge!
Lovely! Thanks so much for sharing your assets, Mary. I’m glad you enjoyed the video. 🥰
Perfect! Thanks for sharing Sherry. 🥰
Hello sherry, how are you doing?
Yes, that’s all perfect! Thanks so much for sharing.
@@DressedforMyDaywithKayHarms thank you!
You are so right. Most of my wardrobe is from one designer thus it all looks alike. I just never thought about it so thanks for the tips.
You bet! Thanks so much for watching. 🥰
Hello Janith, how are you doing?
I'm so glad I found you... I just retired from school. I'm working on building a new wardrobe. I love my gray hair and my hazel eyes. Have lost 10 lbs and am going for 30 more. So putting just a few new pieces in till I get to my goal weight. Thanks for your help.
Wonderful! And congratulations on your recent retirement. Enjoy the process! ✨
Perfect! Thanks so much for sharing your assets. 🥰
Ann Taylor sells some classy petites.💗
I have great eyes and a great smile saw I tend to use my makeup to draw attention to these areas. I love a blue red lipstick color and use browns and mauves to play up my eyes. I'm wearing blue, greens and orange this Spring and Summer.
I think this is your best video yet!
Cool! Thanks for letting me know that you enjoyed it. 🥰
I also love Talbots!
Hello. I like to draw attention to my chest/shoulders and legs. I like the video, thank you. It is always fun to watch your videos.
Perfect! Thank you for sharing your assets. 🥰
Love that! Thanks so much for sharing.
Perfect! Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts. 🥰
Hello Jan, how are you doing?
Hi Kay. Good tips today. You look truly beautiful in you MOB dress! I like my height (I’m 5’8”) and my big brown eyes. I would need think to focus on the things I like unless prompted! Thanks.
Hello Debbie, how are you doing?
Excellent video ! Great tips 👍👍
Thank you.
Hi Kay, I’m enjoying your blog and videos! I hope to build a wardrobe similar to your own. I like your style. Let’s see…calves and hourglass-ish shape are two features I am positive about. 😊 Thank you and take care!
Wonderful! Thank you for sharing those assets. 😊
I get compliments on my hair and eyes.
I like your videos very much, they are very positive. I think the best of my body are my eyes, my shoulders and perhaps my legs.
Thanks for keeping us on task Kay! My positives: eyes, clavicle and (finally, post menopause) thighs that are in proportion. May I add, the combination of the top and blazer colors are so flattering on you and very pleasing in general.
Thank you. I enjoy wearing them. And thank you so much for sharing your assets. 😉
I am so glad u included fit. Love this 2 part series.
Thank you for watching. I’m glad you enjoyed it. 😊
Hello Darry, how are you doing?
I recently went to Talbots for the first time because I don’t care to wear bright colors . I was surprised that they actually carry some more muted colors which I prefer.
Your best colour by far was the red short sleeve top. It makes your face "pop"
I wondered if you would share the shade of lipstick you are wearing? Great advice as always!!
I'm not sure, but I did share the secret of my lipstick in today's video: th-cam.com/video/XN7wmXvHSrg/w-d-xo.html
Thanks again for such a informative video and one in which I will definitely apply 😀 ok here goes my favorite part about me ,myself and I is my legs ,my lips and midsection. I've been working out regularly so I'm thinking in the near future I will be able to add my Deira ❤
Wonderful! 🙌🏻 Thanks so much for sharing. I’m glad you enjoyed the video.
Good morning
Thank you for your great tips.
My eyes,and legs.
Have a blessed day.
Judy
Just realised I have nothing that makes me feel good- that's why I love watching your videos for tips!!
Always seem to buy things that don't quite fit, too
Best features- my feet, my hands ( before they got old and wrinkly 😥)
maybe my blue eyes...
Thanks for these great tips, I am slowly learning!
I'm sure you have beautiful features. We all do. We just need to start seeing our aging bodies and faces with more grace. Thanks for watching.
@@DressedforMyDaywithKayHarms thank you 🥰
Thanks for another good video. I like my hair and figure, although my figure needs a little work at the moment. It is important not to look like a walking billboard for one store. Thanks for the tips.
Thanks for sharing!
Perfect! I’m so glad you shared your assets. Thank you for watching. 🥰
I like to draw attention to my eyes and legs. Those are the two parts of my body that I have always received compliments on.
Great! Thank you for rising to the challenge! 🙌🏻
It’s a struggle! 😬 But good to be aware. Thanks so much for sharing your assets. 😊
Perfect! Thanks so much for sharing Fiona. 💕
Perfect! Thanks so much for sharing your assets.
Very good advice! I like my face, my hourglass figure and hands.
Perfect. Thanks so much for sharing, Val.
Okay, you twisted my arm Kay. I like my face and neck/clavicle as an “accent” Thank you once again for the helpful tips!
Wonderful! Thank you for rising to the challenge. 🙌🏻
Another good video! I love my waist and my flat stomach. ;-)
Thank you Carrie. Apple shape women often have the prettiest legs. Definitely play up that asset! 😊
Hello Carrie, how are you doing?
I feel that my eyes (brown) are one of my best assets, especially since I am a natural redhead! I cannot stand crewneck or tight around the neck shirts or dresses, and wear mostly v neck or square neck tops. Luckily my chest area is also an asset. I am short (5’2”) and besides neutrals wear clothing that is either a royal blue, emerald green, or a deep burgundy, with an occasional turquoise top thrown in.
Lovely. Thank you so much for sharing , Debbie.
Defined waist and eyes. Smile is also nice. Posture has always been great although I have to work on it more as I get older.
I have trouble saying anything nice about myself but I guess it I had to say something it would be my hair & my feet lol great tips here thanks Kay xx
Well good for you! I’m so glad you shared. Now maximize!🥰
You always look stunning. I had no idea you shopped at Talbots. I’ve tried many times but it’s not me there. Maybe I have to give them another try.
Ahh, yes. I definitely shop a lot at Talbots. But I’m really trying to spread the love these days! They’re actually having a good 30% off deal right now.
I gravitate to Ralph Lauren and Jones New York but they closed their stores here in Canada.
My best features are my feet/legs and hair. Great video!
Wonderful! Thanks so much for sharing Pamela. 💕
Perfect! Thanks so much for sharing Rachel. A good smile adds to any look!
Ahh, wonderful! Thanks so much for sharing Jane. 💕
Good Morning Kay
So many great and inspiring tips today. I too am a Talbots shopper and really like your tip on mixing brands rather than having a closet full of just one brand. My positive
s would be my eyes and my somewhat defined waistline. I am still working on the waistline!!!!
Hello Diane, how are you doing?
Thanks so much for sharing, Pam. I'm glad you enjoyed the video.
Hah! My smile, pretty feet, I'm a short apple right now. Wearing colors that make me shine.
Thank you for sharing your assets, Karol. 🥰
@@DressedforMyDaywithKayHarms okay am doing that, so am fine on target! Thanks so much.
My 2 favorite things r my posture (good from yoga for 30 years) and my height (5’7”)
Oh yes, those are great assets. Thanks for sharing. 🥰
Hello Darry, how are you doing?
You asked what I like about myself, that would be my legs and arms. Thanks for asking. It is a little uncomfortable talking about what you like, but practice helps.
Absolutely! Thank you so much for sharing. 🥰
