I really dig this Wheeljack. Engineering and an intricate transformation is always a big seller for me. He turns into such a big ole tank ha ha. Love it
Honestly i feel the "Do we really Need this" question is a simple no. of course we didnt need it, but i find it remarkable they tried it anyway. while the back kibble is absolutely and downright horrendous, the novelty of having a cybertronian G1 Wheeljack might be a huge appeal to some collectors (and the fact that his vehicle mode has such a big ol hollow space to store stuff in!)
I enjoy the figure and they put a lot of work into it. The kibble is rough, but I feel like they did as much as they could and it's still really impressive. The shield thing should've either been tossed or just package separated. So dumb.
Thanks for this awesome video Chef! I can't believe I'll say this but I DO NOT have any of these three AWESOME figures in my collection! Somehow I did not foresee this happening when the first Origins Bumble Bee figure was released! This is something I will regret later in my life not having! However, it is not my fault because Hasbro was all over the place at that time with the Animated/Armada/Prime figures in their waves and that burned me up. I ended up buying figures I regret having today that I don't even know who they are like the $50 green jet that combines with the other jet that later was repainted for an autobot version and then the endless Amazon repaints that I somehow ended up with 3 Beast Wars Dinobot, like 2 or 3 G1 Mirage, 2 Springer variants, 2 Beast Wars Dino Megatron (Jurassic Park), etc. I was like "I'm Done" I can't buy them all"... Then Gi Joe with the Tiger Force/Python Patrol/Mad Marauders repaints. I am now just following your advise and being selective in my figure purchase selection. I am grateful for Hasbro to be putting out so many figures but at the same time I cannot keep up with all this repaint madness!!! Don't get me started with the exclusives...😡
I feel your pain man but don't worry, I'm sure hasbro will re-release all three of these figures eventually... maybe even as a pack or set... the episode 1 set or fight for cybertron set LOL
thank you so much my friend as always hahahaha... I actually ended up selling all 3 of these figures after the review LOL but awesome you love them brother 😀
@@chefatron You're welcome. As long as those figures went to great homes, it feels satisfying selling Transformers figures. lol :D I really enjoy the Origins figures. :D
7:56 I don’t see much difference in head sculpts. Meaning I feel they’re a sidegrade, not upgrade. The heads are too similar looking for me to feel different about them, despite the clear detail changes. Maybe it’s those very details you appreciate more?
Seeing this Origins Wheeljack inspired me to trade my Origins Bee and Jazz. It effectively ruined those other figures in my eyes. I certainly hope others enjoy it for what it is, but it is just not for me.
24:53 yeah, that’s fair. If someone outside the clear target audience picks the toys up, they might not be as forgiving as we are. I do feel like the objective fact that no articulation is very compromised on any of the figures, despite kibble, would still come across as impressive. At the very least, a plus in its favor.
13:59 strong disagree. For a panel former, I think the process is a lot of fun. I do feel more of those panels shoulda been made into legs or feet, but I can’t deny how cool the articulation is. Amazing the massive kibble interferes almost not at all with posing.
22:04 cool poses, yo. If a bot mode is gonna have kibble, Bee and Jacky are two examples of how to manage it well. Jazz just doesn’t have much kibble to resolve.
0:56 okay. He’s fanning himself. I had to check if Wheeljack was pointing a gun at his face or not. No. He’s fanning himself. Very clever use of the EVOFUSION!!!! feature!
It’s so ugly. Just a cluster of panels in robot mode (those legs!) and a shoebox in alt mode. I have no nostalgia for the original cartoon, so to me this thing is an easy pass.
Push in to put back or out to remove from below as you fold down each piece of the shield and they come out easily without damaging it. I had to remove the stress marks with some heat from the hair dryer for a couple of seconds and they are fine. Since I have done it that way no more stress marks.
We've been needing this since Siege.
ok
I really dig this Wheeljack. Engineering and an intricate transformation is always a big seller for me. He turns into such a big ole tank ha ha. Love it
awesome man!
The vehicle mode of Wheeljack based on the first episode of Transformers G1
yes it is
Yes we do 1 figure this year I'm looking forward too
cool man
Would love to have this figure, but $35 USD... yeesh !! For that money, I have some other figs on the list that are more important.
yup, I know right?!
Another one afraid of a slightly involved transformations. No wonder Hasbro charges $50 for 10 steppers nowadays.
yup sadly

valid point. I agree
Wheeljack's Dominator Discs were reverse-engineered by Bombshell into what Bombshell will develop into his Cerebro-Shells.
I see... interesting...
Yes, we did.
cool

You can just toss it yourself
@@diggityslice9023 that doesn't take away my point of it being unnecessary and that the"road" option is just a problem. Absolutely an afterthought.
good points man
Damn I got this guy 2 weeks ago lol I ended up having to drive over an hour away to the target next to the pentagon lol I got the last two sorry😂
oh wow! I love the dedication to the hunt! I used to be just like that when I was much younger...
@@chefatron it was fun I haven't went on a toy hunt in a long time
20:30 There's a trick to separating the blue pieces. Fold the outer one all the way under the middle one, they'll pop apart easily.
thanks for the tip!
Yes we do. He looks grat with the others.
awesome !
Wait till you see armada wheeljack. So many wheeljack this year.
oh has he been announced already?
Without having watched the video? I have decided to answer your question. Yes. Yes, we do need this.
cool man
Meron palang double blizzard si wheeljack!
hahahahahaha !
06:15 Jitsu Fan reference got me 😂😂😂
Forget the dominator discs, this is what I’m calling this from now on.
Great review as always
hahahaha di ba bro?! LOL

well, I actually sold off all 3 of these origins figure to a buddy who wanted them for a very good price... really not for me...
20:48 just fold the connected pieces closed, inwards towards the hollow side, and the tabs pop apart with no issues or effort.
cool, thanks for the tip bro!
@@chefatronhopefully it helps.
Vehicle mode is pretty great....the robot mode is just okay. It is really hard to transform.

Vanilla, the thrilla.
Try sitting at the tail gate a smaller kreo bumblebee next to the solar conductors. So it is easier to close the roof of the hover truck.
