The thing I think is funny is that in Siege we got barely different to Earth mode versions of Cybertronian modes, but these Origins styled figures are the Cybertroniam modes I think most fans wanted.
I think they were aiming for a more 'gritty' look in Seige while these are pure clean 80s space designs (which I prefer). Wheeljack is practically a Starfleet shuttle.

Outstanding review PrimeVsPrime!! It took 40 years, but we finally have the first ever Transformers alt mode in plastic form. lol :D Wheeljack is tied with Jazz in being my favorite of the three Origins figures. Keep on being amazing.
Even the transformation sequence closely resemble his style in the cartoon pilot episode, with arms forming the front bumper, chest face down to the ground, and the rest of the vehicle panels coming out of his legs.
I love sci-fi vehicles so very happy to see this. As a kid I thought the shape of Wheeljack was fantastic but seeing the three of them together it makes a great set. Bee being able to be tucked in and seeing him through the windshield is fantastic. I could have done without the rod holders though, like that flatter look.
As a kid I sort of got Wheeljack confused with Ratchet because of _this_ alt-mode, those flashing lights on his head, and their overlapping roles. Also, gotta admit, in many ways a service vehicle of some kind makes more sense for our old mad inventor than does a sleek sports car mode.
He finally has a PROPER shoulder cannon. The folks who managed to score this figure definitely won out. To me it's like having the first release of a classic comic book. He was the first, ever, for so many, and deserves his due. I agree with your assessment: Hasbro did something right.

Due to the Kibble, that wheeljack jazz handles the kib🎉ble. A lot better and his altmode definitely cleaner than both Bumblebee and wheel Jack. Bumblebee also has a lot of kibble in robot mode. So I think jazz is the superior figure out of this trio.
My wheeljack arrived yesterday its awesome lookin in alt mode, Im yet to get Bee origin form tho to complete the trio as ive got Jazz couple of months ago, great detailed review love it! Wish they would release the seekers in their cybertronian mode in the future

I love how blocky the robot mode is. Crazy how massive the Altmode is. Definitely would like to see a Cybertron Altmode version of prime something different to the seige design. Maybe take afew design choices from Orion Pax.
Must get this. Have Jazz and Bumblebee. Hope we get other cybertronian versions from the opening scene(s) of the G1 cartoon. Decepticon Tetrajets!. I believe there have been some 3rd party brands that have made them. But, would like to see official ones from Hasbro/Takara.
A g1 cybertronian optimus prime could be a possibility. In the G1 comics prime had 2 different cybertronian alt modes, a strange tank that looks like a red box with a gun on top and a cybertronian semi truck. The semi truck looks pretty good and would fit in with the origins figures.
One small nitpick is the white on his bumper in vehicle mode that should be grey like in the cartoon even though it’s the side of his shoulder in robot mode.
I think an origin Soundwave with Laserbeak, Sunstorm, and Bitstream would be great, that way we'll complete the set of seekers at that bridge and all the characters that transformed on Cybertron.
What is that awesome stand you have him on? The big flame wheel and such! Just got Wheeljack for my Bday and I so want to get it to display him that way.

Basically Siege figures are cybertronian. Like the Tetrajets and the odd alt modes for most vehicles. So that is the Cybertron lineup.
