If you thought this figure was bad. My Target was worse with this. I saw in the store, it was on the shelf, I grabbed it, scanned it at self checkout, and then it said “Street Date 3/31/24”, they told me come back for it after Easter. But then………truly on April 1st, April Fools indeed. The figure was nowhere to be seen. Everyone in the store that day claim they have never seen it. So it’s probably bought by someone else. I’m happy for the person who did get it………but I SAW IT DAMN IT!!! I had the money!! Just let me get it!!
So, I actually followed along with you, for my 1st transformation of this cat. I was sold on him, from what I'd seen online already. But, having this guy in hand, is an experience. He's put a huge smile on my face. I love the engineering used in these toys, that's a big part of my attraction to them. The absolute GENIUS on display here, is astounding. Of course I know these are nothing, when compared to MP and 3p MP, but I'm just not that into them. It's a me thing, not them lol. I can't afford to collect those figures, unless I'm cool with like 1 figure a month, 2 on very special occasions. Screw that noise. I can get 4 to 8 CHUG figures.. well "could" get that many, now maybe 5 or 6 tops, but I digress.. So, I love seeing what they can accomplish with the constraints of being hugely mass produced toys, on a very strict budget. In that mindset, this guy may be my favorite voyager of all time! there's so much wizardry crammed into this little guy. Also, I disagree with you about him feeling somewhat unsubstantial without bee in him. I've not put bee in yet, I quit playing to write this novel real quick lol. but empty, he feels rock solid to me, a litle brick. Plastic feels amazing, articulation is pretty damn good actually, like you said. He does seem a little bit on the plain side, much like the ER one in the new 5 pack.. Just not a lot going on, but that's accuracy for ya... I love this dude. If you're on the fence, jump on over that bitch, and go get him. He's really really good. Possibly my pick for the year.. at least thus far he's my favorite pick up this year. He may or may not be there in January, time will tell.
6:30 The blue panels are easier to separate if you fold the side panel underneath the middle one. Fold it all the way under and they should pop apart. Putting them together is done by pushing the centre panel onto the side ones at the connection point (down the grooves in the side parts).
Just pickd it up, target on sale for like 23n some change last one and ONLY one ive seen on a shelf also grabd silverbolt for the same price, not really into beastwars but it looks BADass!
Great review but this is an easy skip for me. I've kind of grown past the idea of Cybertronian G1 alt modes and focus primarily on earth modes. Decepticons are an exception though because more times than not the the bot mode more than makes up for whatever was decidedly thrown together for the alt mode as evidenced with SS Megatron and Shockwave.
So, I pulled out the 2 rods I managed to keep up with in anticipation of getting this guy. Got him this morning..... and apparently I've lost 1 of them lmao.. that's a lonely lonely energon rod...
Do I feel he's worth the price point? No, do I want him? Yes. Is gonna blow me away, probably not. Will he at least be satisfactory probably, but , not as good as jazz.

Yeah, Siege really should've went with more alien vehicles instead of more futuristic Earth modes.

Genuinely I like him better than the earthmode one in the 5 pack. I like how chunky he is and the head-sculpt.
I got him for $30 so I'm not complaining lol

Seems like an ss86 Ironhide scenario.
Very short for his class but extremely engineered.

Well, At Least The 35 Aniverssary Animation Megatron Is The Best, For Me!
I will not accept origins wheeljack slander. Bros engineering and gimmicks make him top tier.
I think your definition of top tier is a little low
The alt mode makes the bad bot mode well worth it. True mass shifting

Yall diggin this figure ❓️❓️❓️
I think he’s spectacular! All of the fun gimmicks and accessories makes this figure loads of fun. Especially with having origins Bee.
