Super interesting. As an author who’s written my books myself, before AI existed, I cannot imagine it replacing the human voice; by that I mean the soul, because when one writes, pinned onto one’s voice comes a previous life and culture, morals, values and standards; experience, and a story, which AI, I feel would not be able to mimic; indeed writing is not only about mechanics - it’s about a whole expanse of time, thought and human experience, and as long as we can teach our children (and hopefully adults) the importance of thought, thought - to think -( in my teaching I tell students Literature /English - and this would apply to other subjects, too, is the subject/topic of thought - I think Literature will survive and we will have a chance as a human species to keep evolving, creating, growing and ultimately existing .
