- A nice, easy step-by-step tutorial about painting Russian or Soviet WW2 infantry figures. Entirely done in acrylic colors (acrylics). How do I do preshading? How do I choose the right colors or shades? Applying or painting the base color as a glaze. Preparing highlight and shadow mixes. How do I thin the acrylic paint properly? How and where do I apply highlights and shadows? Details painting, weapons painting, assembly figures... All this and much more!

The figures turned out great!
I really like the techniques that you used.
Thanks for sharing your video presentation ❤😊
A pleasure... Tnx... 😀❤️
Hi mate 🙋🏼♂️
Your figures look great, respect. And in my opinion it's not a bad thing if every uniform looks different. That gives the whole thing more realism. The figures on the tank look skillfully chosen. This will be a great result 👌👌
Tnx, mate... I am always for difference, but in the end they must still "belong togeather" in my oppinion... 😀❤️
Great job as usual explaining your process! Can’t wait to see how that base comes out.
Tnx, bro... Me too... 🤣🤣🤣❤️
Outstanding work !
I’m gonna give these techniques a try for sure !
It’s a modification of Night Shifts technique, but geared for us less skilled types
Thanks so much and keep up the great work
And he has modyfied anothers approach, and so our hobby evolves and goes on... 😀 Tnx. I am not totally happy, because in my case preshading, didnt do mutch. But now with the base, is a totaly different storry... ❤️
Really enjoyed the glazing process, yes it does take time to build up.
I tried, but it didnt work so well... I need a better preshading, I think. Tnx, mate...
@@dioramadevil I to keep trying, it will take me many more times to really get it down .
Great finished figures my friend..👍👍
Tnx, bro... ❤️
Interesting painting method. I usually start like you with a white zenithal highligh over black primer, but then I use a layer consistency instead of glaze to go over the value sketch provided by the zenithal highlight. I can use wet blending for the transitions. I will try your method on a couple of minis and see how it comes out. Thanks!
A pleasure. Tnx. My way is something in betwean. I must try with thicker layers next time. Not much, but still thicker...
Thanks for another amazing video!
Too kind... Check Patreon for mutch more... Is free for the first 7 days... 😀

Great video!! I have had the same figures ready to be painted for almost two years, but I keep putting it off. With your tips, I'm going to take a chance in the near future anyway 😀
I'm looking forward to seeing that diorama in colour.
Hehe... Just go for them... 😀 There is a lot of color on the scene already on Patreon... Fell free to check it... ❤️

Have a nice day my friend :)
Tnx for your nice comment

Great job and thank you for sharing. I do have a question. After you finish painting the figures, do you apply a flat clear varnish or some type of a clear coat?
Tnx. No, nothing... 😀
preshading dident help because u using worst paints for figures :) Bo with AK 3 gen or scale 75 u will see differences
Mybee... I will try... Tnx 4 the comment... ❤️
Nice, but greatcoats of Red Army has been grey colour, NOT green. Also in your work sapper blade is glued with the wrong side to belt of mini's. Two rectangles - are loops with which the cover of sapper blade was put on the soldier's belt.
Tnx for your constructive critics... I love that... ❤️
