I was told 3 bump factory 15" steel wheels will not work but was told the 15" 4 bump factory steel wheels will work for disc brake conversions. 3 bump meaning the hub cap holding bumps, check it out.
Bless u. On the sneezing. Turn wheel c where it’s rubbing calibers. Take grinder take a little off Had to do that with one of mine. If it doesn’t work. Wheel spacers 1” mite do it. Keep em going 👍
Use later 4x4 thin steel wheels. They clear and are 6 lug old school look. Also now that you are low you will need to narrow the control arms to get the right track width and no scrub while turning.
I wanna dump my 80 f150 hella bad but the twin I beam front makes it cost a bit more. Need knuckles from a newer 94 ish with camber adjustments and dream beams to do it the most correct way.
Yeah I’ve never messed with those much. I always remember back in high school my buddy had a ranger. He wanted to go low but crap was to high for high school kids haha

Looking good brother!!
Thank you. Getting closer 👊🏻
Yeah I think on most websites they tell you that the factory 15 wheels won't clear. Truck is looking great!
Thanks. I was talking with a friend. He said the k10 steel wheels will clear. We will probably hunt some of those up 👊🏻
Sitting nice !!
Thanks. I’m happy with how it turned out
Good work, the truck looks sweet
Appreciate that 👊🏻

Thanks haha Luke has some 6 lug slot mags that we have mounted up. But we will keep that in mind for the future
I was told to put a thin layer of grease to the fork when removing the ball joint ..... not sure if it helps but an old tech showed me that trick
Nice that would definitely help with tearing the boot

Thanks for the tips. Luke put on some cpp control arms on since this video 👊🏻
Wheel vintiques series 62 wheels should clear the caliper but still give it that stock look with hubcaps. That’s what I’m running on my 66
Thanks man. 👊🏻🤘🏻
Sweeet ride
Thanks
I am also stuck on that same ball joint. UGH. And I don't have an air hammer lol
Haha they ca be rough

Can you share link or description on coil springs used ?

I believe I got the same drop, and I don’t have the rear shocks, what’s everyone using?
This is what we used www.ebay.com/itm/273937979988
Can you send the info about the lowering kit and disk break you install on this truck ?
Just added all that info to the video description. Let me know if you have any questions
very good work. Doesn't it scratch the fenders?
Rubs slightly on the front. But it has a pretty tall tire
How high? My intention is to put some 22" Transport rims
And what size shock absorbers are used at the rear?
What rotor did you use?
