I didnt say this when I first saw the panel beating, but seeing a young person with panel beating skills as well as leadding skills is a real enjoyment to watch. Those skills are dying out these days.
Mad respect for your craftsmanship. Lots of sponsored channels out there that can spend a lot buying cars to restore that are not in that bad of shape. Then they poor tons more time and money in it to make it a trailer queen. You take some of the toughest to fix units that probably no one would tackle and shock everyone. With what your talent can produce on a limited budget is amazing. I know a few Mexican guys in my area of southern California that put every dollar they make into rebuilding cars to absolute beyond perfection. They never came out of the factory like that when they were new! True love of automotive art. Congratulations to all that get involved.
WOW... Im 58 Years Old .You Do A Very Good Job Young Man . I Have Done Many In My Time. Keep Up The Good Work... I Call It Art. Wish I Can Get Her... I Got No Shop No More... Love The Music As Well...
Grande Amilo felicito como UD no hay otro que paciencia para ase una beculo tan viejo marche como nunca lo, admiro por su inteligencia y talento felisatone aud; y familia desde❤🇨🇱☝️😔
I thoroughly enjoyed the operatic introduction, the archaeological insights, the soundtrack, the cats, the droll humor, and the incredible final presentation of your beautiful automobile. I am a great fan of your art. Well done.
Hi Kyle. The goose grease really shined up the old '35 Chev! The repainted wheels are icing on the cake. That car can now peacefully live out it's retirement on your lawn. I think it would be best to park it in a nice, sunny spot so that it can keep its old bones warm.
A little bondo, some upholstery work, paint and good to go! Shouldn’t take much to fix that one up. Couple weeks tops. Keep things rolling Kyle. You are the master of metal.
Of course you know Kyle could not render his creative juices and expertise with out his classical smoking jacket and his classical symphony orchestra playing in the background. Bravo Kyle, your making body repair respectable again!
Very excited about the coupe building. Gathered the parts to do it myself back in the '70s. Found a '36 coupe back half. Another one of those projects that didn't happen. Always regretted it. Now I get to watch you do it, and it will be fun. Hi from New Zealand.
The choice of music is a brilliant stroke. When I learned of your channel from coldwarmotors I never expected that I'd found such a classy joint. And also... car stuff!
Kyle, you've done a great clean up job and I'd like to make a suggestion. I've owned quite a large number of guns in my past and when they became shiny from rubbing against things like leather or cloth and/ or slightly having rusted from having sat in a humid wooden gun box or gun cabinet too long, it became necessary to "blue" them and re oil their surfaces. I'd like to suggest you buy some gun bluing and rub it into the rusted up areas of exposed outer skin, then after the brownish areas have now turned blue-black, take a cotton rag (like an old clean T-Shirt) and go over the blued in area with a thin coat of light oil on it. Rub it in well so you don't see swirls or streaks then lightly wipe dry with another portion of the same scavenged but clean T-shirt . Not only will it protect the car from rusting any further but the blue-ish color will cover a lot of flaws, scratches or former dent outlines. Should you ever decide to cannibalize this car for parts in the future, simply washing the oiled over area with a liquid detergent & hot water mix vigorously should be enough to remove the oil to a point that it would now be safe enough to prep for filler, primer and paint.
Scream scream scream, no no, you know when I saw that car for the first time I thought what nice looking car from the front. This would be nice as a coupé. And now you mentioned that is your main intention and I am like yes yes yes! Love to see you turn it into a coupé. And aluminium isn’t a fancy word for aluminum its just what it is called in Europe main land. Love your channel Carter! Keep it coming.
I’m impressed how you can take something that looks like garbage and turn it into something I want to drive with just a little beating and banging. I can see how that type work would be an enjoyable use of my time.
Love the quick release shifter and rattle can rebuild. Those who don't like what you do with your own stuff, can go pound sand! Car looks great, love the idea of the tres vindow!
Wow Kyle amazing job sealing that car up. Now it's ready for winter. That must have taken you multiple hours and days to seal. Regards to Allan and Edgar
Kyle, you have to turn it into a sedan delivery. What a project! Having watched the whole video I realise that it'll have to be a 3-window sedan delivery coupe but I bet that'll be a one-of-a-kind. 😊
Great workmanship! What's most impressive, to me, is how little water and small cleaning pads you used to wash the car! There were no drops on the floor! Excellent music, too! Your persistent left-handedness is troubling to my self-taught psychological sensibilities, but your results are irrefutably superb! Maybe it's the feline diversion therapy that counteracts the southpaw geophysical inhibitions that are intensified by your distance from the Equator. Nonetheless, you are compensating well! Thanks for sharing!
I think a 3 window coup will be sweet. I love the patina sauce, should help save on the rusting factor. Those white wall's look good after you had them shined and balanced lol. I love all your work, and your choice of music is the best. Much love from a lady in Michigan US. G-d bless.
I know the cold is terrible but I'm happy to see that the smoking jacket survived the summer,/moth season. Those little monsters can ruin a fine garment! Love the show and keep up the fantastic work!😊
Well, my yard work had to wait till my favorite video show was done! I like how you cleaned up that old car with that great music. Making that into a 3 window will be an awesome project. I love how you slammed those complainers! Put there money where their mouth is! Hehehehehe. Keep it up Kyle.
I agree, a great parts car for someone with a great vision of what to do with those parts. Love to see your next project using those parts. You make junk gold! Carry on!!
Kyle that was a great compilation video of all the work you did to get that ready for yard art, until you can get back to it. I watched each week but the short clips all stitched together was great. Can’t wait for next next video. Later
Wow!! That was fun. Can't believe the difference you made in the appearance with modest effort. Someone fascinated with the "patina" look would love to have that.
Masterful restoration! The soundtrack is most inspiring, one of Suk's most famous works. Instead of a coupe why not an eight door limo with a straight 12. Cheers! 😎👍🏎🏁🏁
I absolutely love what you do: the projects, the humour, the cats, the classical music. (FWIW, my favorite is when it's just watching you work with music going.) Thank you so much! Heading over to the merch store... oh and p.s. I miss Sask so much, the exterior shots really affect me.
Ahh yes. Back in 1957 I bought a 1936 Chevrolet coupe from my "honest John uncle". Payed a whopping fifty bucks for it. Of course, it didn't run, but being 15 years old, I thought I was a hell of a mechanic. And of course, i didn't know that the engine was locked up, due to a broken piston rod. Anyway, it sat in my back yard for over a year before my Dad told me to get it the hell out of here. But coming across this video brought back memories of those old days. I tickles me to see all the other old Chevs that are still in "working order in this video. So keep up the good work sir, I love watching these type of stories. And thanks for the memories.
Well Kyle you've knocked another one out of the park. I must say I've never seen a detailing job that incorporated a snow shovel. The previous owner appears to have had a diverse spectrum of tenants; I'm guessing mice, pack rats and racoons. Good of him to evict them before you took over as landlord. That's a pretty high class car, denoted by the optional mousetraps and single pane windscreen. Honestly I admire your courage as I wouldn't have done any detailing without a hazmat suit and the local biohazard team and ambulance on speed dial. Ahh to be young and invincable again. Surprizingly the old girl cleaned up well, I think you should name it 'Dirtie Gertie".
Another exciting video in the can. Non stop action with that rascal Allan causing trouble when you are trying to peddle your fantastic merch. (ha ha ). Thanks again, I always look forward to these epic adventures.
Well I'm on fence on the Chevy car plan. I love to see the kitties as well, Lady Poe and Master Allen are looking well. The kitties appear to bring you some sanity after you have spent hours in the shop/garage working on the cars and trucks! Tom and I wish you well as always.
you're the first person I've seen use heat in straightening a panel. Most people are afraid of warping panels and refuse to use heat. I can't seem to convince them that heat applied properly works great.
I want to hang that grill on the wall in my living room. LOL Thanks for sharing your antics with us. The 3 best parts of that car are the headlights and the grill.
I kinda hope no one buys it - I’d love to see you build that 3 window coupe. 😁 That would be epic to see you replicate that from what you have 👌 I love the chicken truck build, as that’s a kind of fantasy truck. Building a replica of something that exists would be great to view, especially given your high standards. Thanks for the great content 🍻
How you keep finding these old girls is beyond me. They're just sitting around waiting for YOU! They know you'll take good care of them, and fix them up right.
Can't wait to see the conversion of this car. I've been wondering what your plans would end up being for it. I think what you want to do is a great idea.
Thank you for your fantastic work on all of your projects, Kyle. I have learned soooo much about auto body repair from your videos. Regarding the latest one, I really loved listening to the Josef Suk: Serenade for Strings, Op. 6 as background music. At first, I thought I was listening to another Dvorak: Serenade for Strings, but I was pretty sure he didn't write one in E-flat. Cheers!
I think the car came out just fine for yard art. It's a good idea to use it for your other project. That should be interesting to see. I am looking forward to seeing more chicken truck, but your 35 Chevy is really nice to look at and see on the road.
The 35 Chevy has been my dream car for many years. A coop is my first choice, but any of them would fill my heart with joy! But I am getting older by the day and will likely be one of those never came true dreams.
Great vid man, a lot of hard work was spent and it is great how you fast fast forward so we do not have towatch all the tedious work at actual speed and also like how you don't talk a lot of useless jabber, love it man. I did my 31 a few years back , it has a lot of wood.

Yeah the wood restoration alone would cost me more than I paid for my other running and driving '35...and then it still needs everything else! It will make a great parts car though.
Im NOT going to be one of those guys that will get upset if you use it as a parts car for the three window coupe or any other project you might have in the future. It will look good as yard art!
You should do a whole episode as Charlie Chaplin. Dressed like him, same music you're playing in this one, with the caption screens, and of course black and white. Epic.
Cool car ... my '35 Master coupe is on the back burner ... if I decide to turn the burner off I'll let you know ... she's a winner ... not unlike yours ... great video Kyle ...
That's more love than this old girl has seen in 50 years !!! Well done !!! ;o) Can't wait to see the transformation into a coupe. Sounds/seems like a "overwhelming" undertaking !!! Obviously, not saying you are not up to it !!!
I didnt say this when I first saw the panel beating, but seeing a young person with panel beating skills as well as leadding skills is a real enjoyment to watch. Those skills are dying out these days.
I know that feeling, i'm 21 and learned that on a Toyota Echo when I was 14, got her lookin' good before my folks sold it
Mr Carter, Do you appreciate the excellence of the music accompaniment? Bravo.

I remember helping my dad "fix up" these old chevy 6 cylinders when I was a kid. Now i'm 84.

What a beauty. - The music choice - not the rot and rust.

Another Kiwi on the channel. Hi Bruce :)
@@martinharris5017 Cool. I'm enjoying this guy. Come from a family of body builders myself, so this is interesting.
This has to be, bar none, the BEST brake rebuild video I have ever seen! Magic!
Dear, you really are a restoration wizard and also a great teacher from whom we learn a lot. Hugs
Came here for the car 🚗 repair and again stayed for the music 🎶 🎵 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦👍

Magical transformation. True yard art. My 40' Studebaker Champion with 6 inches of snow on it was one of the best pieces of yard art i ever had.

Didn't watch you on the 55" so I can say how much I enjoy your channel.
I really enjoy your channel 😎
This is my favorite channel. Thank you.
That "shopping cart" ding in the driver door popped right out! Sweet! God bless.
Scream scream scream, no no, you know when I saw that car for the first time I thought what nice looking car from the front. This would be nice as a coupé. Car looks great, love the idea of the tres vindow!
Wow, it did clean up pretty nice. I like your choice of music. Very relaxing.
No pressure. Excellent 👍 job.
Fantastic video. The cats always perform flawlessly. And whoever was plucken on that violin needs a patt
Kyle I always love your work. your type of humor makes me laugh my butt off.
Wow Kyle amazing job sealing that car up. Now it's ready for winter. That must have taken you multiple hours and days to seal. Regards to Allan and Edgar
She looks amazingly nice after your quickie clean-up!
Kyle, you have to turn it into a sedan delivery. What a project!
Having watched the whole video I realise that it'll have to be a 3-window sedan delivery coupe but I bet that'll be a one-of-a-kind. 😊
The old car cleaned up nice. I think that Allen was looking for the orange cat on the shirt, he didn't see one, and is now upset.
Allen - Product Manager

It looks a lot better than it is thanks for the trip.
Thank you Carter I like the reconstruction work as you do Bravo to you!!!!
Cats are the best helpers ever 😊 looking great to
The old Saskatoon sponge bath really did a number on this tub 😮

Loving this car. Keep up the good work!
Much rather do metal Than the electrical nightmare I've Had all week ! Cousin Kyle Gives me my Sanity Break. Thanks
The descent into madness continues.
Kyle OMG I want the car!...But only after you convert it into a 3 window Master Deluxe Sport Coupe.
Good job Kyle!🤠👍
I know the cold is terrible but I'm happy to see that the smoking jacket survived the summer,/moth season. Those little monsters can ruin a fine garment!
Love the show and keep up the fantastic work!😊

Nice job making a complete junker look respectable..can’t wait to see 36 pickup done too!
She certainly is a beautiful thing ! Nice restoration on a budget ! The two is so beautiful too ! 😉🙃😎 NZ
A little wash and wax, a seat cover or two, a roll of clear packing tape for the windows. Boom, your back in business.
Magnificent work as always, Kyle.

Too bad you are in Canada, that 35 chevy would make a great project for me .would you sell it
Going to take time and money to get it running
I'll take it here in Kansas
I like old cars like that too.
I love that car!!! Say hi to Allen and Poe as we love the kitties! Tom says I can't have the car😭,so I will have to trust your plans.
Now that you’re pimping T-shirts, I guess I’ll buy one. Gotta help keep the lights on in the shop and the cat treat bin full!
Awesome thanks!

I enjoyed that, nice restfull music while you potter about and a few cat interludes too, great stuff.
I want to hang that grill on the wall in my living room. LOL Thanks for sharing your antics with us. The 3 best parts of that car are the headlights and the grill.
That was fun to watch. Quite the transformation. Those brakes will work great now! I hope to get to watch you build a coupe out of it.

LOVE that music!!! The other stuff too, of course!
How you keep finding these old girls is beyond me. They're just sitting around waiting for YOU!

I have too many projects now I say chop it up let’s see the 3 window build. Thanks Kyle

Can't wait for the coup build. I have become a "Tube Boob" thanks to this kind of quality viewing pleasure.
I think the car came out just fine for yard art. It's a good idea to use it for your other project. That should be interesting to see. I am looking forward to seeing more chicken truck, but your 35 Chevy is really nice to look at and see on the road.
Great vidya Kyle. I can't wait to see the 3 window coupe project start, that will be awesome. Love the music too.
Keep up the great work.
3 window coupe sounds like a plan - I'll be tuned in
Thor's hammer and classical music. What more could one want.
The 35 Chevy has been my dream car for many years. A coop is my first choice, but any of them would fill my heart with joy! But I am getting older by the day and will likely be one of those never came true dreams.
I hope you're able to make that dream happen one day!
Definitely Clean up Nicely Kyle For what you did That’s going to be a good Build When you get Started
Great vid man, a lot of hard work was spent and it is great how you fast fast forward so we do not have towatch all the tedious work at actual speed and also like how you don't talk a lot of useless jabber, love it man. I did my 31 a few years back , it has a lot of wood.
Hey man ✌ have a 39 Studebaker close to that my Grandad bought in 1961 with a title ! ✊👍
Cool car Kyle! Too bad it's so far gone. The wood restoration alone would be overwhelming. But a good parts car and I like your plan of the 35 coupe. It's amazing how you can turn a junkyard car into a decent looking vehicle with a little elbow grease and soap and water.
Yeah the wood restoration alone would cost me more than I paid for my other running and driving '35...and then it still needs everything else! It will make a great parts car though.
New Subscriber. Love that you made this into some very cool yard art! Appreciate your sense of humor as well as your music choices.
Kyle creating a new class. We have Hot Rod, Rat Rod and now Yard Rod.
Im NOT going to be one of those guys that will get upset if you use it as a parts car for the three window coupe or any other project you might have in the future. It will look good as yard art!
Thanks!
Thank you!
Love your channell. Best body person I have ever seen. Thank you for all you do.
You should do a whole episode as Charlie Chaplin. Dressed like him, same music you're playing in this one, with the caption screens, and of course black and white. Epic.
your skills are so amazing looks so effortless but i know just how hard it is to do
Cool car ... my '35 Master coupe is on the back burner ... if I decide to turn the burner off I'll let you know ... she's a winner ... not unlike yours ... great video Kyle ...
Awesome work mate
i like that you painted the wheels in a star pattern very efficient
That's more love than this old girl has seen in 50 years !!! Well done !!! ;o)
Can't wait to see the transformation into a coupe. Sounds/seems like a "overwhelming" undertaking !!! Obviously, not saying you are not up to it !!!
I make it a point to read a bunch of comments before watching Kyle's vijayos. It helps ground me in reality.
that was a lot of elbow grease , but what an awesome outcome, nice work !!!! 👍
Detailing with a snow shovel, Its a wonder you dont see this more often. Seems to work well. :)
