New subscriber here. Just started my channel about a month ago. Glad you were able to get it figured out. Had a feeling it was going to bind the first go round. Great job getting to to work and look good
awesome keep it up
Good job on the cantilever setup, it takes a lot of math to figure out a good operating system. One suggestion is to put a gusset across the top of cantilevers so you don't get any flex or distortion while driving. Lastly I noticed that there's a good amount of axle roll through the bag cycle, it could be how you mounted the cantilever links to the axle. May just weld brackets to the top of the axle for the cantilever connectors. Keep up the good work 👍
Sorry for this question being it's off the subject of the ignition , I'm wondering if you have a video of you lowering the front I see the lowers aren't cupped so im intrigued how you pulled it off ? I have a 64 lwb as well bagged just like yours set up how you took away the upper cup but I figured I would cup the lower but seen a picture of yours ? Thanks and sorry to all for jacking the comments up
No need to apologize. I don’t have any videos unfortunately. But I put a drop crossmember in it. That lifts everything up allowing you to lay frame 👍🏻
Thank you so much , I love your videos and your 64 keep em coming and again thanks for getting back !!!
@ anytime. Thanks for watching
Nice work man. We learn always and from everything. What I learned from your little mishaps that I shoot myself in the foot all the time over… is don’t burn anything in till it’s all together and tested. Because adjustments will be needed haha
lol thats a fact. thanks for watching 👊🏻
Keep rocking on brother
👊🏻🤘🏻
I never have really seen a cantilever bag setup build...looks complicated...lol. Glad you got it figured out, great job and thanks for sharing!
It definitely had my sleep deprived brain hurting lol. Need to make some tweaks still but it’s coming along 👍🏻
Dont apologize for being away for a bit. You're a family man and work a full time job. No one should hold that against you. I'm loving the content you make. Keep this fun for you and bring us along for the ride.
Appreciate you watching. Hope to have some fun things coming for 2025. 👊🏻🤘🏻
Great video buddy I know you’ve been racking your head about this rear suspension! Came out awesome!!
Haha I definitely have. Thanks man
You’re killing it man! I love watching and learning along with ya! Are you planning on “gusseting” or strengthening those cantilever bars? You could do like an arched bar from front to back on the top side and match the arch you did on top of the axle..? Just a thought. Love the set up though. Also glad you explained the front “shackles” mounting to the axle. I was curious about that and now that I see it in action it totally makes sense. Turning out sick man! 👊🏻 🤘🏻
Thanks man. Yeah I plan to go back and add gussets to a lot of things. Just wanted to get a video out haha.
@@Metal_Massacre_Fab_Shop Looks like you got the motion of the linkage working well. I'm glad you are going to add more structure, as the welds at the pivot bushing are currently gong to see huge bending stresses as left at the end of the video. One idea to consider would be to add a tube between the bushing at the shackle end connected to the bag end, essentially build something similar to a roof truss. This tube will be in compression, so be thinking about column buckling issues as you design and build whatever you implement. You're building a scaled up rocker arm, so noodle on the structure of a stamped one (even a billet one for that matter) under the valve covers, and picture how the shape of those creates the load paths from end to end and how the geometry supports and reinforces them. I need to take some cues from you and get off my butt and into the garage a lot more! I really like following your project(s). I've commented before, but again, still love the real world, real budget (time AND money) of them. Keep up the great work in the new year!
@ I struggle with getting videos done hard core. I really have to get batter at that. But I’m following along on Blue Goose so I can get ideas for my Burnt Marsh mellow. Front is going to be most challenging.
Thanks for the ideas. Yeah this was pretty much a rough draft of the cantilever. Just wanted to get a video out with the limited time I’ve had. Getting everything done was proving to be impossible. I have a few things to add/tweak. But the basic concept is in place now atleast 👊🏻
Those angle badangles can get confusing sometimes 😂
lol definitely.
Thanks for posting, lots of fun!!
Hopefully we can do it again next year 👍🏻👍🏻
2nd gen!!!
YES the back side of that 250 has tje same footprint as a small block chevy V8
What size reducers did you use
Hey I am from Kenya Africa
Put a Cummins Turbo engine in it.
Bought one from Amazon couple years ago. It was $150, it cuts 3/8" cleanly with no dross. Great purchase

Same man. Should’ve happened way sooner lol
You ever sell any of these gems sure would be a cool lil truck to toy around with
Nothing for sale currently. But may in the future 👊🏻
I’ve got some 71-72 spindles with rotors if you decide to disc brake swap it. Let me know and I can get them down to you.
Awesome man. I may have to take you up on that
Look at that sexy dually they don't make them like that no more that's my favorite duallys they ever made whoever has that if they ever want to sell it I'd be buy it from that person if they don't ever want

Thanks for watching. We’ve been driving the wheels off of it 👍🏻
Hell yeah man!
👊🏻🤘🏻
Cool that you always have a vision to bring these trucks back to life and get them back on the road. Great video. Thanks 👏👏👏👏
Thanks 😃
Was that a cam break-in only rotor? Bout all it lasted. Glad to see it rolling again. Last time was in 1993. David got stuck in a snow drift in front of my house.
lol we definitely got lucky on that break in.
Did you ever get around to watching a couple of UTUBE Videos to learn about plasma cutting?
Nope. Still clueless lol
Sweet!!
Thanks man
Hey, bro, I just subscribed the other day. You got an awesome channel, my friend. I have a question, brother. What size tires and rims do you have on the front and back of your C-10?? I gave the video a thumbs up. I need the same ones for my 67 C-10. They're bad to the bone. Anyway, thanks for the content.😎👍
Hey thanks. The wheels are 15x9 wheel vintiques. I got them from marketplace. Can’t remember the front size. But the rear is 275/60-15 I believe
Have installed quite a few of those shifters. I’m a big fan of the QuickSilver shifter. Looks like you did a good job on installation. Can’t wait to see it up close.
Thanks man. It’s cool for sure. Hopefully get it to a show next summer
Killer video love that truck
Thanks man. Liking your new logo 👊🏻
