I think this season has a very big problem that even I, a zero build casual player who barley touches ranked, can aknowledge, and that is that is very hard to win. I find so fun jumping around and counter playing someone who is jumping around, and car vs car gameplay is kinda fun, but boss cars, even tho it is satisfying to beat, they are so anoying, and at least regular cars don't do that much damage bc it would be kinda the same. And being saying that, it looks so obvious that cars don't bond with building, specially with boxing
They absolutely need to separate competitive and non competitive loot pool and features. Removing boss cars or at least aspects that make them overpowered in ranked would solve many problems for those who don’t like them, and potentially removing the attack aspect of the fists as well.
honestly, i just find all this discourse hilariously sad, there's literally no winning, if you like this season you hate fortnite apparently? but if you despise this season you hate fun? epic games really needs to separate casual and comp loot pools again, there was literally no reason to combine them back in chapter 4

It’s funny because people celebrating that “sweaty builders are suffering” gives off childish ass behavior. If this season was competitive heavy and not casual friendly, there would be outcry and riots on the casual side.
Also the same people that spout “you hate change” are the same people that came back for OG and like this season because they can sit in a car and plow over a good builder who’s been with the game throughout multiple chapters. If anything, pro players are more loyal to this game than a lot of casual players. Yeah people can accuse them of staying “for tournament money” but they still stay.
Something you said and it feels like part of the "Fortnite divided community" Is that "build Fortnite is the core gameplay". That's a discussion I've seen around in the short time I played since ch5s1. It annoys me so much the pepole who says "pepole who play zero build are skillless", and I think that's were the defensiveness of people come when talking about nerfing cars, because cars honestly came to shake up things, and at least I find them fun (exept the boss cars). But the fear comes from making them duller because a part of the community doesn't like them, and what part of the community? Obviously the build players because cars are not meant for build, and I would love to see imput from builders of how cars could be tweaked into build, but if they have to be removed, remove them from build, not from zero build. 4:05 "Building is the main mechanic from Fortnite" Building is not the main mechanic, it's guns. Yes, building is the main attractive of Fortnite, but that statement feels as if zero build was a side game mode, but at least I have had more fun with zero build.
Buildings the main mechanic that makes the game special, but zero build is so much funner imo I think fortnite should heavily nerf cars in build a maybe remove them from competitive. Ive played since chapter 2 s2, and this is one of the funnest seasons to be honest, but I get how it annoys mainly builder players.
You know I always thaught why play fortnite to play zero build cause might as well play cod or something, but those games are pretty bad and fortnite has a better lootpool. ALSO the whole wall breaking in builds should not be a thing cause might as well just not have the mechanic if everyone can break hundreds of carefully placed walls by a skilled in a matter of seconds by just going forward. Also if skilled based match making didn't suck people wouldn't be complaining about sweats cause why should someone who can only ramp up be in the same lobby as a guy who practices building for 1h a day.
Its hard to make both sides happy. On one hand, if you split the lootpool(removed the car mods, nitro and the fists) what would you get? A bland season that even the comp players complain about. On the other hand, if you favoured the casuals, they would soon realise that balance is also important for a fun season. Its a paradox that Epic didnt think through
What most casuals don't realize is the fact that any op thing epic adds has a compound effect that fucks things up. Name one broken meta besides the Mechs where sweats running meta didn't make the game a chore to play more than it already is. The p90, the turbo build nerf, retarded auto shotguns or the dash thingy from last season. They're all examples for how every time epic tries to balance the playing field they only fuck it up
Donald Mustard stated early in C1S2 that if people want this game to be e-sportish and competitive. They will make this the game everyone wants it to be, including the competitive aspect.
The bigger problem with Fortnite is that the core feature, the building system, was never meant to be in a PvP environment. It's a feature taken from a PvE RPG where the only enemies are bullet sponges whos only attacks are hands and, very rarely, lasers, so of course they make you feel like a doofus when you want to shoot somebody and they can just click to block you completely. The only pvp-focused adjustment ever made to it was turbo building, which was already being done with turbo buttons. It might be fun to build tunnels that make all weapons that aren't shotguns or rapid fire machine guns irrelevant, but it's never been fun to play against. The competitive nerds are forcing a competitive scene onto a non-competitive game by nature for the better part of the last 4 years. The casual nerds don't like playing with the competitive nerds for the same reason why nobody on the playground wants to play soccer or basketball with that one kid who's always taking it way too seriously. The build mode people can't stand the idea of having to use rifles, SMGs, and handguns or think about the difference between cover and concealment, or even having to position yourself strategically in order to avoid getting shot. The zero build people can't stand the idea of people building 5 star hotels with WiFi and a pool whenever you fire a single shot at them, forcing them into a sniper meta that nobody likes. Epic needs to pick a side and go all the way with it, this middle ground is simply not working for anybody. And I say this as a Founder who's been with the game since the start.
I don’t care what anyone else said, I liked this season and would bring it back for a week, that’s my opinion and you are free to have a different opinion
I feel like the problem is that epic has been catering to the sweaty side of Fortnite for so long that when the game finally somewhat caters towards casuals they go mad. Though even now they’re still catering to the sweats bc everything is being nerfed into the ground. You can’t drive a vehicle near an opponent without it being blown up in 5 seconds or getting boogie bombed, the turret was completely nerfed and shots don’t even register 50% of the time ,the fist are completely useless now ( like the majority of Fortnite’s melee weapons), not to mention more things are on the way just to make the cars even more obsolete and we’re only like 3 weeks into the new season and there’s barley anything new to enjoy.
This season was perfect when they added the first balance change and added boogie bombs. Then they kept nerfing the cars and adding so many counters that now the cars blow up insanely quickly.
@@muscleman1777 the avatar mythics and star wars weapons are light work… you should have been there in chapter 1 season X. It was pain. But fun when you and the bois could load up a squads match and go 2 mechs and just win ez
this season has been one of the most devisive things ive ever seen. while ive been personally having an absolute blast, its a shame for those who arent having fun and ill never treat it as "a victory over tryhards" or whatever, because that is just as cringe as being a toxic and gatekeeping tryhard. but all of the negative hasnt changed my opinion, and ive had some of the most fun ive ever had in fortnite. but im also someone who loved the planes in ch 1 season 7, so i think it just boils down to my brainrot being different from other peoples brainrot. i play zero build exclusively because i never liked the building but like the zero build gameplay loop, especially with friends. it comes down to different tastes, which is unfortunate when someones taste is deliberately chosen over another persons taste.
To be honest the season was fun till the massive car nerf. There's no reasons to go for bosses, the counters exist and are very easy to get. I don't understand what people hated so much with the cars. The cars were very fun just like mechs, but people never pick them up. I don't understand the need for the nerf, and people cry about it so much when the counters were still good the season.
Really well put together video! I'd have to disagree as, tbh i love this season, but even then there are quite a few issues that you covered really well in this video. Edit: Also i love the homelander clips😅
This season is so fun the sweats complain too much honestly Fortnite need to really seperate sweats and casuals here are some changes that Fortnite can do to avoid both sides being mad 1st have Ranked be more of a competitive sweat mode by making changes in Ranked like nerfing or vaulting the cars or have more counters for the overpowered stuff in that mode and have build mode and Zero Build mode be for casuals by not nerfing or vaulting the cars maybe add a few counters for the cars in those modes just incase sweats for some reason don't want to play Ranked Have us choose what lootpool we want these would be the options bullet drop, hitscan, hitscan with bullet drop, current season's lootpool, OG lootpool, and a mix and maybe even a fun chaotic lootpool
In my opinion, this season was extremely demotivating. Being only in comp for a while, it demotivated me because i wasted a few months of my life to learn mechanics and improve aim, just for cars to ruin it all, seperate the lootpools for the love of god
As much as I respect the comparison between mechs and cars, I will say there are plethora of methods to counter the cars such as the bow, shooting the vehicles, emps, the tow hook, and other situations just use the fists to launch the vehicles away. I am not here to defend on my life that cars aren’t an issue, but I do think there are ways for people to handle them that they’re not attempting to do.
Yeah tbh when I made the video the car’s weren’t as counter-able. They have definitely balanced the cars significantly since then. I still think the comparison holds some weight in certain aspects like health
Like I'm just generally surprised they haven't spilt the loot pools for Zero builds, Builds and Comp/Rank like I feel like that would mostly fix the issue like Just nerf the cars fists or whatever in builds and comp/rank and just keep zero build the same as I think the players mostly angry about this season are people who build a lot. Honestly I just want each side to be happy but I know that will never happen
I do agree with you on this but at the same time, I hate that you're right because I do enjoy this season. they probably need to make seperate lootpools for the competitive and casual
Low key, all epic has to do is make a different loot pool for ranked and casual. A balanced loot pool for ranked without broken stuff like cars and then make the casual battle Royale and zero build loot pool have all crazy stuff like cars and nitro fists. Do y’all think my idea is good?
Thats what they had but they merged them and now won't stop it no matter what. but i feel like REMOVING cars is a bit insane, they could just nerf the stuff in ranked so it still has new and fun meta's, but is still balanced, Tbh I don't like Comp players but I can understand how they might hate this season.
@@Astrocite1 I can agree with the car thing, since not changing the loot pool could get boring for comp players, they should nerf the attachments in ranked or remove a few of them.
Most fun season of Chapter 5, unless og counts at as chapter 5. Nothing is close to this because fortnite been so comp heavy casual players can barely enjoy the game sometimes.
This guy kinda sums up my views except I have fun this season half the time but when I try to play comp it’s a nightmare and most fights this season are way more one sided than they should be. This guy does find a much better middle ground than most players and explains his points well.
Mid season was the best it was at. Counters came into the game Boogie bombs and heavy sniper It was definitely the best at being chaotically fun. However at the start, and end The balance was poor.
I’ve won games without entering a car once. After several counters and nerfs added, I don’t think they’re much of a problem anymore. Nitrofists are still pretty strong, but they don’t ruin anything for me.
@youwontwin5354 yeah. I usually either use EMPS to forced them out of their car or I get in and start shooting it till they leave or it gets destroyed. People in cars do sometimes kill me out of nowhere, but players without cars do that to.
It's more of the trend on hating anything that's perceived as "competitive" and wanting the game to cater to pure casuals only. If a PvP game's fun is completely one sided, there's something wrong with the game. Fortnite players just don't understand that since they like to play it like it's a single-player/coop experience, then complain when someone outbuilds them and dunks on them while they're trying to emote. But instead of acknowledging a good play or a mistake on their end, they blame them for "ruining the game" simply for being better or doing what anyone else would. So when something like this happens, it's more of a "take that you competitive scum" moment since the single player kind of people can now dunk on skilled players without even trying, which makes it fun for them.
Its "skilled" players that make the game unfun in most seasons, they just dunk on people and full box and all this shit that makes zero build 10x better, people who are average at the game don't want to get fucking full boxed in miliseconds but still want to win. But the second some counter to building happens, like nitro splash the "skilled" players cry because they are too op and need to get nerfed, then casuals get mad because "skilled" players are doing the same thing again and getting what they want. Then its a loop EVERY season but they basically never buff stuff back up. So overtime a season gets less and less fun.
See this is a great video to explain your issues with the season because a lot of the reasons I usually hate people who dislike this season is because rather than actually criticizing the game they just scream and whine “THIS GAME IS DOG SHIT” while I personally love this season and have had no issues dealing with the cars I can understand where your coming from
I dont think a season needs to be balanced to be good, all that really matters is that the season is fun, in this case the season is very fun. I believe epic should prioritize the fun of the game, as thats what keeps most people playing, as the game didnt start out as a competitive game. Epic should just split the lootpool so casuals can have their fun and chaotic lootpool while competitive has their “basic and boring” lootpool.
2:37 gonna have to disagree a big problem with the mechs were that they weren't able to be countered. now in fortnite you can just hop in a car yourself, use nitro fist, shield bubble, and or jump into their car and drive into storm- there are so many ways to counter cars or get away from them. The problem is that people typically box up or use the damn stratergy they typically use, and then wonder why they die easily against a new item, not saying the cars aren't op... but comparing them to mechs is a bad point imo.
I was playing re2 and Mr X was clipping me with his nitro fists sadly all I had was a green pistol and a pump so he cooked me but later on I found a deagle but he decided to use nitro and break through my walls so I had to run away again until finally I was at the end of the game ready to beat it and he used all medalions against me but luckily I used the grenade launcher turret to cook him.
I've been playing since chapter 1 season 8 and I love this season. I love getting to finally mow down super hero skins with star pickaxes. Building is not gonna save these sweatiest sweats now *evil laugh*
Ngl now people only use gloves, magneto gloves cars,I was in a chase with a guy I kept shooting him, instead of fighting he kept fleeing car after car after car, people don't even know how to play fortnite anymore since there 100% now locked into the stupid cars
Just play ranked and you’ll see how the “skilled” players have adapted to the cars. You can’t just stay in your car and mow people over like you can in regular build mode. Regardless if you like it or not if you can’t succeed in this season it’s on you. It’s yes, a skill issue. That being said I am also getting over the cars and low key want things to go back to the way they were.
The cars are definitely low skill, I am making a TH-cam video where I can only play in cars and I am already in diamond 3 sp you can quite literally just mow people over and rank up.
@@Astrocite1 Before cars. Even before the nerfing I was getting over it. I feel like this season would have been a really cool LTM. Not an entire season like this.
@@dunnoFN Nice. Yeah I've been doing ranked and doing a similar thing. It's getting a little more difficult now that the cars are nerfed and once you're towards end game you start getting your car pumped full of the unlimited ammo crossbows but yeah ranked is definitely easier with cars. Link me your video when it's done. I wanna see it.
Fortnite should bring back 999 mats and make it where you can upgrade your builds like in STW so cars wont be able to plow through them. For zero build add back port a fort and port a fortress.
The only problem i have is that saying this isn't fornite dosent make since as someone who plays zero builds the building problem dosent make any difference to someone who sees fortnite zero build as fortnite no change its seems the bigger problem is how builders views the game compared to zero builders
Fortnite became popular substantially from the popularity of building and is what set it aside from other battle royals even in its name fort-nite. The building portion of the Fortnite community is is far more competitive and generally the competitive players are the players who have put the most time into the game and stuck around for longest. So not to say no build is unimportant but you can’t really say Fortnite is not at its core a based around this mechanic. I have spent time both as a zero build player and build player and the problem is really epic games fault as they have tried to combine casual and competitive when really you should be able to choose if you want to play pubs with more luck based, chaotic loot-pool or ranked with a more balanced, skill based lootpool
@@MrWoofWoof03 A lootpool that is more luck based is a lootpool with items that allow a bad player to have a major advantage over a good player because of an item/items they can get, for example a game that has no luck is rocket league as the playing field is equal and you both have the same abilities as the opponent.
I think pubs should have more of these luck based items than ranked as these items like the boss cars are very fun for casual but would be more annoying in ranked where the playing field should be more equal
I played it proceeded to get 3 wins in a row and a 30 bomb on trios by getting one of the stupid mythic cars. ON RANKED this season is so dumb what were they smoking and how do I avoid it!
So what you're saying is because the meta changed this season and "crippled" a core mechanic that it's bad? Even after 6 years Epic isn't allowed to touch the building in Build mode because that's what makes Fortnite, Fortnite. And I'm aware that the meta changing isn't the problem, it's the fact it took away the ability to build away from the problem and that because you have a car it takes no skill to use them. But can't you just as easily make the argument that it takes no skill to counter a car as well? Boogy bombs are easy to use, so are the nitro fists, and finding a car to use only as a get away and not offensively is also just as easy as using the cars. Using the new explosive bow is also VERY easy. The argument that is: "Because it's overpowered, it takes no skill to use" is outdated. Epic has made counters to mostly everything since the Infinity Blade, and that goes for the Mechs, the boogy bombs and junk rifts existed that season but people refused to carry them due to it taking and inventory slot. You don't see other community's split this much because the Fortnite community is too stubborn to "Adapt". I've been playing this game since Chapter 1 Season 3, I've seen every meta come and go and I have to say this season has been so fun, from beginning to present day. Yeah, it takes no skill to use a car that goes mock 10, but it also takes no skill to counter it as well. This argument is so outdated it isn't funny. First last season wasn't good because the mythology weapons and items were too weak and bland and now the on brand weapons and items are too strong and too easy to use. At this point people need to decide what it is they want and just say it out loud rather than say "this isn't what I want, fuck you epic". Let me set the record straight, I don't think the past couple of Chapters have been good in the slightest, but this season has been a breath of fresh air. The competitive side can cry for all I care. They've been doing it since the game introduced a competitive side anyway.
@@ashomg3253 okay so before I go on my rant lol I just want to say that I respect your opinion. Anyway there are a lot of reasons I don’t like season 7 for example we got pretty much no map changes all we got was a couple areas of purple grass and a farm that looks super similar to the last one that was in its exact location. Later in the season the map changed got a little better with Holly hatchery but that location was literally just Holly hedges but with the alien Nannette effect. Second the battle pass was terrible only other battle pass worse than it is chapter 2 season 8’s the reason I don’t like either of these battle passes is that they were just full of meme skins with only one maybe two actually good skins. Third chapter 2’s map and loot pool was pretty much the exact same from season 1 to season 8 making it overall really really boring since season 7 didn’t really have any game altering new features to make it unique to other seasons for example chapter 2 season 2 had bosses, chapter 2 season 3 (also my favorite season ever) had water covering the map, chapter 2 season 4 had super powers, and if we go back to another amazing season chapter 1 season X it had constant map changes and the mechs were a nice addition because they weren’t broken at all unlike what people think. Anyway back to chapter 2 season 7 my fourth point is that the season was just too long with barely anything added it lasted from the beginning of June to the end of September making it like 4 months long and sure we got the abductor mini game and the Ariana grande concert which weee both amazing additions to the game they weren’t enough to keep fortnite fun for 4 months because we also had an absolute terrible summer event with nothing added just like summer events nowadays we also had a couple new items which were all also really fun but again they only really were fun for a few days. Instead of what season 7 did they should do what chapter 3 season 3 vibin did where both seasons were around the same length but vibin had CONSTANT map changes and had a good mid season event that’s really all epic has to do to make a long season fun. Anyway now that I’m done saying the negatives I’ll go to some positives like how the live events were absolute heat🔥🔥🔥 except operation sky fire led to the worst season of all time😐 but anyway the abductor mini game was also fire and the weapons were very wacky like in chapter 1 which really makes the game unique but overall those positives are not even close to being enough to have this season stand up to any other season so it’s down in the bottom with chapter 2 season 8 also sorry for the long response I had a lot to say lol
4:01 I completely disagree. The main mechanic isn't building, it is guns. That's why Zero Build is a mode. Fortnite shouldn't be restricted to just "Build game." Fortnite should be allowed to mix it up, Fortnite should be allowed to change up the gameplay, Fortnite should be allowed to be fun.
It sounds like you agree with me that Fortnite should be allowed to change up the gameplay, but I'm mainly concerned with the execution as it's rather sloppy. In terms of the main mechanic not being building because it doesn't exist in zero builds doesn't really make sense. Zero build is a mode because the building mechanic creates a major skill gap that many either don't enjoy the game for or can't keep up with. Fortnite isn't restricted to just the "build game" (bc modes like zb exist) and when Epic adds stuff that nerfs that mechanic it just comes off as very tone-deaf when you consider that the people playing the building mode are likely playing it because they enjoy building.
Well, we enjoy it, and it has gone uphill, at least in content (It has stayed stable in a very high but not comparable to season 1 player base). Also, the game is not dead, if it was, why does it still have content? Also, why does it get millions daily?

4:05 "Building is the main mechanic from Fortnite"
Building is not the main mechanic, it's guns. Yes, building is the main attractive of Fortnite, but that statement feels as if zero build was a side game mode, but at least I have had more fun with zero build.
Buildings the main mechanic that makes the game special, but zero build is so much funner imo
I think fortnite should heavily nerf cars in build a maybe remove them from competitive.
Builders very often can't shoot lol
They're all examples for how every time epic tries to balance the playing field they only fuck it up
Womp womp
Let's be real here, fortnite was never about being competitive, it only became that way because the competitive players are louder than casual ones
Facts
Ong
as a casual, the cars sucked glad they nerfed a lil bit.
Actually competitive Fortnite has existed for a long time, and has carried the popularity and mainstream presence of the game.
Donald Mustard stated early in C1S2 that if people want this game to be e-sportish and competitive. They will make this the game everyone wants it to be, including the competitive aspect.
If you die in a battle royale game and you feel like there was nothing you could do in that situation, then that game has a problem
But you are overestimating people smartness
@@truthseeker7815but it’s fine because it’s fun
People just camp in their cars.
This whole chapter has been garbage asf, pure disappointment.

@@Rdr2solos this was 2 months ago bro 🤦♂️
Cap bro I played ranked and I got a machine gun and I beamed everyone
How do you think the game used to be more sweaty ?
No man, they're always too powerful, everyone just plays them, impossible to win without them
This season was perfect when they added the first balance change and added boogie bombs. Then they kept nerfing the cars and adding so many counters that now the cars blow up insanely quickly.
I will never ever complain about a op item after this season😭 dude this is worse than the mechs
right? My stupid self thought “it can’t get worse than the avatar mythics and Star Wars weapons” oh boy was I wrong
@@muscleman1777 the avatar mythics and star wars weapons are light work… you should have been there in chapter 1 season X. It was pain. But fun when you and the bois could load up a squads match and go 2 mechs and just win ez
damn this video made me wanna go play the new season of fortnite. brb I'll finish this video later
this season has been one of the most devisive things ive ever seen. while ive been personally having an absolute blast, its a shame for those who arent having fun and ill never treat it as "a victory over tryhards" or whatever, because that is just as cringe as being a toxic and gatekeeping tryhard.
but all of the negative hasnt changed my opinion, and ive had some of the most fun ive ever had in fortnite. but im also someone who loved the planes in ch 1 season 7, so i think it just boils down to my brainrot being different from other peoples brainrot. i play zero build exclusively because i never liked the building but like the zero build gameplay loop, especially with friends. it comes down to different tastes, which is unfortunate when someones taste is deliberately chosen over another persons taste.
Edit: Also i love the homelander clips😅
the season is already 1 month old, how you guys dont know how to fly with the cars already?
The people who like this season are either casual bots that cant build a 1x1 box or newgens who started in chapter 3 or after
I love how some content creators are realizing how bad the season is
This season is so fun the sweats complain too much honestly Fortnite need to really seperate sweats and casuals here are some changes that Fortnite can do to avoid both sides being mad
1st have Ranked be more of a competitive sweat mode by making changes in Ranked like nerfing or vaulting the cars or have more counters for the overpowered stuff in that mode and have build mode and Zero Build mode be for casuals by not nerfing or vaulting the cars maybe add a few counters for the cars in those modes just incase sweats for some reason don't want to play Ranked
Have us choose what lootpool we want these would be the options bullet drop, hitscan, hitscan with bullet drop, current season's lootpool, OG lootpool, and a mix and maybe even a fun chaotic lootpool
Yes
It’s not turbo cringe, it’s nitro cringe
they literally just nerfed the hell out of the cars and buffed the crossbow damage against cars
Just crazy how with one season a fucking civil war has started within the community
Dude it's boiled down to one answer: Double standards.
Ironic, considering is this season is the most FUN i've had in Fortnite in years 🤣🤣🤣
Same
SAME
That’s cool I may not like this season but hey at least you’re having fun.
Most fun season of Chapter 5, unless og counts at as chapter 5. Nothing is close to this because fortnite been so comp heavy casual players can barely enjoy the game sometimes.
@@Astrocite1skill issue bro💀
This guy kinda sums up my views except I have fun this season half the time but when I try to play comp it’s a nightmare and most fights this season are way more one sided than they should be. This guy does find a much better middle ground than most players and explains his points well.
If there wasn’t skill based matchmaking then there wouldn’t be a “sweat issue” epic creates their own problems and that isn’t our fault
Ill just stick to bot lobbies until this season is over 😂
If I wanted to play a vehicle combat game I would just go play Twisted Metal
I'm not a fan of this season. But I will admit, me and my friends have had our fair share of fun with it.
Mid season was the best it was at.
Counters came into the game
Boogie bombs and heavy sniper
It was definitely the best at being chaotically fun.
However at the start, and end
The balance was poor.
This season is the baddest ever
i liked primal more atleast the pump existed and ppl could not get inf stamina from picking up a boss reward
I am so with you, that this is skilled players vs noobs using OP things, like the car and what not there is now a days in this game...
See this is a great video to explain your issues with the season because a lot of the reasons I usually hate people who dislike this season is because rather than actually criticizing the game they just scream and whine “THIS GAME IS DOG SHIT” while I personally love this season and have had no issues dealing with the cars I can understand where your coming from
This season is only fun when you’re the one with the car.
I hate this season and this chapter
Nah the chapter is fire
@@DeKyDa Is it really
@@ejsphoneit’s not it’s been very mid
I dont think a season needs to be balanced to be good, all that really matters is that the season is fun, in this case the season is very fun. I believe epic should prioritize the fun of the game, as thats what keeps most people playing, as the game didnt start out as a competitive game. Epic should just split the lootpool so casuals can have their fun and chaotic lootpool while competitive has their “basic and boring” lootpool.
I think tho they should limit the more chaotic things like boss cars for ranked modes so that both player bases get what they want
i love you vro
If you were the one making the seasons fortnite would be dying already
@@220T_SeKKiBanKKı nuh uh it would be peak 🔥🔥🔥
2:37 gonna have to disagree a big problem with the mechs were that they weren't able to be countered. now in fortnite you can just hop in a car yourself, use nitro fist, shield bubble, and or jump into their car and drive into storm- there are so many ways to counter cars or get away from them. The problem is that people typically box up or use the damn stratergy they typically use, and then wonder why they die easily against a new item, not saying the cars aren't op... but comparing them to mechs is a bad point imo.
For real this season feels like they’re trying to sell more rocket league cars.
Bruh people like you where the reason fortnite died in the first place in chapter 4
Ngl now people only use gloves, magneto gloves cars,I was in a chase with a guy I kept shooting him, instead of fighting he kept fleeing car after car after car, people don't even know how to play fortnite anymore since there 100% now locked into the stupid cars
personally they should bring back arena at this point the separate loot pools would do wonders for this season
2:58 Omg it's sipherpk, who would have guessed a basic opinion clickbait driven could have come from him
This is my exact thought on the season.
Thank you
Im starting to understand that the game needs to be split up into 3 ways builds zero builds and competitive should split up and kinda go there own way
Just play ranked and you’ll see how the “skilled” players have adapted to the cars. You can’t just stay in your car and mow people over like you can in regular build mode. Regardless if you like it or not if you can’t succeed in this season it’s on you. It’s yes, a skill issue. That being said I am also getting over the cars and low key want things to go back to the way they were.
wdym back to the way they were? Like before cars or before car nerfs.
I’d take Chapter 2 Season 1 over what we have now
Fortnite should bring back 999 mats and make it where you can upgrade your builds like in STW so cars wont be able to plow through them. For zero build add back port a fort and port a fortress.
I don't know why I bought the battlepass, the skins suck and the season itself is impossible to play for me
Finally, something I 100% agree with you on
This season gives me wz 1 Bertha trauma
Sad thing I can't switch to undertale this season
In what way are Fortnite and undertale comparable
thankfully most of, if not all the cringe is outside the game and just people on social media talking about the season
@@dunnoFN i dont see pubs as luck based but ok also i been playing since br released so i do understand
In my opinion this season is the most fun since i started playing again.
I played it proceeded to get 3 wins in a row and a 30 bomb on trios by getting one of the stupid mythic cars. ON RANKED this season is so dumb what were they smoking and how do I avoid it!
Don’t play that’s how you avoid it 🤷
So what you're saying is because the meta changed this season and "crippled" a core mechanic that it's bad?
I liked the car meta i just believe they shouldn't be in build mode
I like it but I can understand why people dont like it.
Personally as long as I’m not playing chapter 2 season 7 or 8 then I love the season
Zero build is only a mode because ppl were asking it for years now
It sounds like you agree with me that Fortnite should be allowed to change up the gameplay, but I'm mainly concerned with the execution as it's rather sloppy.
I love seeing sweat players cry.
I love the cars personally
my question is why are you even still playing this game I quit in August 2018. From what i can see it only went downhill from then
Well, we enjoy it, and it has gone uphill, at least in content (It has stayed stable in a very high but not comparable to season 1 player base). Also, the game is not dead, if it was, why does it still have content? Also, why does it get millions daily?
