Epic is greedy. That's why we have collabs, Disney, effing Lego, Rocket Racing, Festival and a bunch of nonsensical skins collabs in the item shop. If they cared about the game quality above money or at least at the same level, they would have NEVER axed the mighty Storyline team and resources.

Epic wants to become a monopoly with UEFN, they want everything to be Fortnite, so fk this company, they couldn't give more than two fks about someone's enjoyment they see that their playerbase will continue playing the game no matter what they do Ofc there will be many disagreeing and saying thats not true, like pls just stfu, Epic doesn't give a fk about BR anymore, Fortnite aint a BR game anymore, they just want to add pretty much anything in their Fortnite multiverse, idk why they are still arguing and acting like OG Fortnite was worse and is nostalgia, even tho it has been proven completely wrong, idk why they want to be more realistic, only reason Fortnite is popular is bcs it is POPULAR, people love to play popular games even tho they are bad, they have friends there and so on, at this point BR Fortnite is literally worse than PUBG,Apex by far, bcs it simply lost its identity that made the game so popular in the first place, now is just people that play bcs they coping, have friends, put too much time and money into this game and so on

Name one thing from chapter 3 and 4. Besides spiderman. Exactly its shit. Last good season was fort og and before that it was chapt 2 season 8.

The worst thing in my opinion is that, if they keep going that way Fortnite will become second Roblox with same gamers base, it won’t die even if all battle royal enjoyers or og players quit, because even now I bet over half of player base are 10 yo alpha kids which arrived from Roblox. I have no idea if it’s veritable data but I estimate this mostly on comments under Fortnite content creators and threads about comparison between old and new Fortnite which from year to year becoming more and more OG Fortnite sceptical if not aggressive towards people who dare to say anything bad about newest Fortnite seasons. And with regret I have to purport that we (og players, and people who enjoy less stimulating games) are not profitable consumers, and this company have no interest in providing us entertainment which would be interesting for us.

TBH I still think 2 year is better and that’s why I still think chapter two was easily the best season

As a chapter 1 player I personally definitely prefer the newer content over old content I think all of chapter 1 was mid lol

I can't believe that anyone could dislike chapter 4 season 4, like it was so fun imo. The weapons were variety, they evolved fortnite I think and they were fun / insert buzzword imo. This season honestly reminded me of chapter 2 season 2 which was the best season of all time imo. This battle pass was so peak and honestly the best battle pass ever bc keto thran and that one fishstick skin. and everyone knows that If you have a bad battlepass your season is objectively bad. speaking of which you should add battle pass as a fourth category bc imo its far more important than the loot pool, content or map. Anyways this season was so peak imo and if you think its bad than you're just an ungrateful hater.

I know your video is old but it seems very bad to me like this Fortnite. I mean, although it is a very active game in terms of quality, it is very bad if we compare it with previous seasons, I think that the best moment of Fortnite in terms of quality was chapter 4, but chapter 5 is what condemned it to fail. It was the change to the movements, and the reason why the console competitive game is totally unfeasible, not to mention that it is very boring.

Chapter 5 season 1 -> Chapter 1 season 5 however... shows the shit the games gone to.

Did we forget about exotics or something? Those were added in ch2 season 5 and added a significant amount of variety to load outs. Also one key thing about the lever and why people liked it is that while on paper it's bad and when using it's mediocre it felt good which is very important I never ran the charge because it feels terrible I usually don't run tweaked versions of the pump even when they are significantly stronger than the pump like the havoc was because they didn't feel good to use regardless of power. Also the lever shotgun was the only shotgun where I used edit plays yes I'm dogwater at this game I still am but it felt stupid smooth to do consecutive edits with and ch2 season 5 was really the only season that I edited and piece controlled in because the shotgun felt good I miss time builds and edits constantly which is why im so bad but i did that less with the lever as it felt better to use when attempting to edit and land consecutive shots with. Not gonna argue that's it's bad it kinda was bad but again it felt good. Also I have an immense rage and hatred for stark industries being a giant massive rock on the fortnite map that took the orchard out of the game for most of that season I hated ch2 season 4 because of that the point stark industry's was fun the guns were fun the items were awesome I had fun but it made me super mad that my favorite drop spot was just removed for 80% of a season me disliking season 4 ch2 is the most personal vendetta I will ever have. And ch2 season 5 brought the orchard back so I was happy again.

i honestly stopped playing after chapter 3 ended, they completely gave up on the story and it was annoying having to deal with new maps i didnt really care about.

I’ve liked parts of chapter 5, but I can say something’s are a little disappointing. Whether this was og fornite or the game how it is now, i’d enjoy both. But if I had the choice, i’d rather have OG fortnite then what we have now.

Your so close to seeing the real big picture. So close. Fortnite has had huge investments from Sony and now Disney, and the BR mode is being sold out as an advertising tool (especially for Disney). Fortnite is hyper focused on acquiring new players that are young (7-15) and they feed those new accounts and young players AI bot lobbies. But this is why the game mode has to be a hodge podge of random crap because these kids are basically playing Fortnite Campaign mode and if the game was stripped to a simple loot pool then the kids would lose interest because they are not playing the game with any motivation to be better so they can win more but rather play with all the different items and explore the map (almost like Minecraft). And fortnite cannot allow a truly competitive scene because then those kids would feel like they are playing something that isn't the same as their favorite streamers, then they would be demoralized that they won't be as good as those guys and quit the game. If you don't believe me, I played with random viewers on an account that only had a few seasons of playtime and over 47 matches I had a 300+ kd. This game is fake, it's a simulation. They don't care about long time players

If Epic games wants to make a "meta verse" they should make a new game for it, save the world was the true og fortnite, which they just wiped out of the universe. I haven't played the game in a while due to the mess it brought a long making the lobby looking like a netflix/roblox ui. I remember coming home from school to play a fun cartoonish game with my classmates, it was fun and great had lots to offer. It just seems like the "main focus" battle royal, to inspire it to be more competitive, less than fun.

2 year chapters dont even feel 2 years when you actually have fun and get to know the map well, 1 year chapters are forgettable, I dont even remember 90% of pois and how the map looked.

you know this sweat problem could've been solved if fortnite put the sweats not the with the people who are bad and actualy put them with people in their own skill level, also mantaling shouldn't be in builds because there are ramps in builds that people can use

Also turbo building didn’t completely create sweats it was Fortnite giving people playground mode so that they could practice building skyscrapers in 2 seconds everyday

You don’t hate Fortnite, you just love the game so much you want to see it be the best version it can be. I do not like people perceiving good criticism as hate there is a HUGE difference between the two.

I find it funny that they pushed Lego Fortnite, rocket racing, and festival so hard and yet it has about 5 times less players then battle Royale. Fortnite is slowly becoming more like Roblox, having no main game mode, but having a bunch of different games on it. They are also slowly censoring certain things such as skins in creative, the path they are heading down is a greedy corporate one, similar to EA or Ubisoft.

I dislike building in its current state for many reasons but removing turbo building is stupid. It's important for accessibility. The issues with building generally comes down to editing having zero cooldown and building generally not having any constant counter other than building. Any anti building tool gets nerfed because of complaints because of people not willing to adapt to a new playstyle

When Chapters only last a year, it almost gives me no reason to care. Giving a Chapter 2 years allows it to build its own character. Meanwhile all the year long chapters blend together.

I wish Epic Games didn't stop releasing patchnotes for the game. I remember me and my friends would check the weekly patchnotes as soon as they released during school to get hyped up for what's to come later in the day when we could actually play. Epic's last set of patchnotes released in Chapter 2 season 1 (I think) around the time they won an award for their transparency with the community or something like that, I'm pretty sure that was the last time they ever documented all the changes in an update since. Which makes the fact they won an award for it only to stop kinda funny.

fortnite's worst chapter!!? sorry? dude infiltrator lexa is like one of the best skins in the game, she looked uncanny when she first launched because of the puppet / robotic vibe but now she is just a cute robo girl with lots of diff expressions in emotes, mandalorian was also nice , dont understand why people like shitty marvel colabs like ch2s4 or the current season over star wars collabs, put marvel shit in the shop dont bring it near battlepasses. mancake was also fine , and kondor also goes well if you know how to dress, most people dont know about fashion in fortnite, they just rock the first style and dont explore combos, the only combos a fortnite kid knows is no backbling+sweat picaxe+ random assortment sweat skin that others wear, and then these kids go and call it "clean" lmao no it aint nothing clean / good or any other positive adjective that is out there. the season was nice apart from the bp as well , over here my personal experience comes into play, i would land at this landmark called mancakes barn the whole season, no one landed there , it was in the centre but all yours so it felt good, after looting well youl could go in the sand and go kill mando for his sniper and jetpack. after doing that the fun just increased multiple folds as now i could just hunt people down in the perfect terrain for sniping and moving with that jetpack, and the going into sand was also nice haha. i can understand that if someone was a l0s3r and kept going to some random ahh sweaty poi and die over and over again , maybe they will start blaming the season instead of their self, i didnt finish the bp this season , i think i started playing genshin impact or something but its seriously so much better than the other trash out there and doesnt deserve to be called the "worst season"

ch 1 was perfectly long but it had good bps to hold for it, ch2 had to be transitioned quickly to generate hype as the player count was diminishing rapidly, this is what happens when battlepass skins are bad. for most people the battlepass is what sold them the game, so epic used to put good skins in the bp and lesser ones in the shop but now to make money they put good skins in the shop and the rejects end up in the bp. i dont play in seasons when the bp is bad same for my friends, and the bp hasnt been good in a while miss ch1s7,8,9,10 ch2s1,2 heck even ch2s5 was good

As a person who started playing in chapter 2. Season OG was my second most favourite season, after season 2 chapter 2. I hope that they'll do season OG chapter 2 or something
