I’m surprised what wasnt really discussed was the new Weapon Bunkers being the way to mod weapons. Honestly, I’m tired of the mod benches being stuck in places that are either high traffic (ch5s1) or utterly useless if they’re outside the circle. I think a great way to balance this all out is to have every POI have a mod bench accessible or defeat a boss, while the pois with medallions have no mod benches. Therefore its argument of “do i wanna land and try to get medallions first, or go get my weapons modded” and at least lets you feel like even if you land far away from the action, you’ll at least know you’re kinda suited up
id honestly prefer the mod benches to be how they are instead of say just available in every poi. there absolutely is a middle ground that epic can achieve, but im glad they made them too rare instead of too common, atleast imo.

This season was ass. The theme was great but then half the season was taken over by the busted Avatar mythics. Every other new weapon added this season was ether mid or average at best. Chapter 5 is easily the worst one we've gotten.

Because they feel that having higher accuracy and higher skill ceilings is more interesting for higher level gameplay rather than basically rolling a dice each shot and hoping you get lucky with bloom. Which personally, I enjoy.
I prefer it over bad accuracy hitscan. The projectiles should be faster but it’s way better than aiming at someone with a spread the size of a building.
10:38 id argue that medallions dont actually make other pois bad. Rather the other pois could be a much safer way to loot up, rather than dropping into a place where a whole lot of other players are going. Plus, you can then prepare yourself to hunt people with medallions by tracking them and wait for them to leave the area.
Dissing the gatekeeper? The gatekeeper might be my favourite shotgun we’ve had in a while. Sure the five shots is better for sure but that doesn’t change the fact that it’s a really satisfying weapon.

Yeah no the Chains and Waterbending were hell in ZB. I didn’t play as much as last season due to some mental stuff going on, but dying to either of those two weapons at the end was really irritating
As a casual player I think this season was very fun! But I can see that for someone who plays the game a lot it could get really repetitive and not fun competitively
The way I see it, the locations on the map aren't meant to be liked equally, I have a select amount of pois that I love going to while someone else has a different selection. This spreads out the players and makes games last a bit longer rather than being so fast paced all the time. And something that me and my friends agreed on, is that we didn't feel like we HAD to have a medallion at all, all of them had their uses this time but it was more of a "glad to have it" rather than "I need to have this to win" vibe. The loot pool did indeed suck this season, but something I noticed that differs your point in here, is that I ran into more people using the pump rather than a gate keeper, and me and my squad often found ourselves weighing the option of the pump and gate keeper, which is nice step in the right direction imo. Other than that, everything you said holds up for the most part.
all the seasons from chapter 4 season 2 to the latest one we have rn have felt boring. The only thing that kept me coming back where friends and collabs they had.

I actually really enjoyed the new season, maybe because i dont had any expectations about greek vibe because its just not my type of climate. But i feel youre right about most of the things, but i think most of the community are exaggerating
It'd probably be like a 6 for me. The potential was there, the Greek Mythology theme and the LTM's looked really promising and I enjoyed some of the alternatives towards the lackluster weapons such as the water mythic over any AR and of course, the map. But... most weapons that came out plain out sucked, medallions were so unbalanced (cerberus was broken, ares was useless) and try not to complain about collabs, but they kinda sucked the soul out of the season. A slight improvement over last season, but an improvement nonetheless. I hope S3 is better.
Could be Epic following your recipe for a good chapter improving each season from one that was bland and forgettable to getting 2 good POI and flashy objects to a great change in the map and changing the gameplay in the third season?

This video made me pissed especially with you saying things like if your pretending. That completely devalues other opinions and is kinda insulting to people's intelligence. Not to mention you leaving out things from the gameplay and lootpool and only focusing on bad items instead of actual looking at good things. You complain about no hitscan but we have a hitscan weapon the whole season and you don't talk about it. You complain we don't get any meaningful item additions this season leaving out insane mobility items like air bending. We get new supply drops and bounty boards where you can pick whay you want from them that adds additional variety to your matches
I would say you're right about me saying "If you want to pretend" being insulting if it were in a different context. Given the scarcity, lack of utility, and overall small presence they had in the loot pool if you were to claim that these items were somehow the most impactful part of a season or more important than the shotgun pool you would be "pretending". I spent a specifically long time discussing them to drive that point home. In regards to your other points, I don't talk about ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING that gets added into a season. I do my best to talk about the things that impacted the loot pool map or content more significantly than other things like supply drops and bounty boards for example. that's not to say they can't impact a season positively but some new bounty boards aren't going to be weighted as heavily as the big loot pool changes. Oh and I have quite literally no clue what hitscan weapon you're referring to. I looked through the new additions this season and could not find this mystery weapon that you didn't identify. Regardless its clear you like this season and thats fine. there are plenty of seasons that I love that under a more critical view are rather horrendous and theres nothing wrong with that.

This video made me pissed especially with you saying things like if your pretending. That completely devalues other opinions and is kinda insulting to people's intelligence. Not to mention you leaving out things from the gameplay and lootpool and only focusing on bad items instead of actual looking at good things. You complain about no hitscan but we have a hitscan weapon the whole season and you don't talk about it. You complain we don't get any meaningful item additions this season leaving out insane mobility items like air bending. We get new supply drops and bounty boards where you can pick whay you want from them that adds additional variety to your matches

I would say you're right about me saying "If you want to pretend" being insulting if it were in a different context. Given the scarcity, lack of utility, and overall small presence they had in the loot pool if you were to claim that these items were somehow the most impactful part of a season or more important than the shotgun pool you would be "pretending". I spent a specifically long time discussing them to drive that point home. In regards to your other points, I don't talk about ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING that gets added into a season. I do my best to talk about the things that impacted the loot pool map or content more significantly than other things like supply drops and bounty boards for example. that's not to say they can't impact a season positively but some new bounty boards aren't going to be weighted as heavily as the big loot pool changes. Oh and I have quite literally no clue what hitscan weapon you're referring to. I looked through the new additions this season and could not find this mystery weapon that you didn't identify. Regardless its clear you like this season and thats fine. there are plenty of seasons that I love that under a more critical view are rather horrendous and theres nothing wrong with that.

As a casual player I think this season was very fun! But I can see that for someone who plays the game a lot it could get really repetitive and not fun competitively
