I had to come back to the beginning. I'm a sailor that loves all things boats, so when I saw Harry Metcalfs Mate tune a vintage Riva Speed Boat at the Riva factory in Italy, I was immediately interested in Iains content.

I’m in Australia and own a 1954 Arnolt Bristol, 1967 Iso Grifo, 1974 Iso Lele Sports, 2004 manual 360 Ferrari Modena and a 2004 Bentley Continental GT and nowhere on the internet has there been a channel that suits me like this one. I’m passionate about my cars and love that this channel has the same love and passion for the real cars of the past. Harry’s Garage is excellent and it’s great this channel has come from it’s connection with it. Look forward to many more episodes and I wish you every success.

Excellent, a very informative video, and well presented and narrated too, and happily without any over-the-top 'shouty' presenting which spoils many subjects on here. The highlighting of unique details and nuances just adds to overall effect. I look forward to further installments in this series. The fact that the Miura is one of my favourite all time cars is something of a bonus too! I have also been following 'Harry's Garage', with the stripdown of his Espada, another highly informative series of videos. Well done!

+Neil Burkhill - likewise. Agree. And the 'dignified presentation style' of Iain Tyrrell, Harry Metcalfe (and also of Thomas Majchrzak, Autogefuhl) is really appropriate and really appreciated by us car-nuts. Many thanks to Iain Tyrrell for starting this channel.

Welcome to TH-cam Iain, on behalf of viewers not Google... thank you so much for all these wonderful little anecdotes about cars in general and your immense experience, I am sure you will be the very best car channel in 2020 can't wait to see more, (we still luv Harry) it is also a wonderful way to build the artefacts and archive the history of your rebuilds for clients and the history of the ICE engine era. I think we are all going to have a wonderful time...thank you so much once again, as it does take considerable time from your busy workshop day. As a young boy I was involved in old 1930's lagonda rebuilds and all the 60's Daimler/Jaguar range including high pursuit unmarked police vehicles...of which I have played my part in rebuilding many..... I am always fascinated by the ingenuity and sometimes not so much ingenuity manufactures of the time, overcame problems or fixes along the way to develop their products... especially when relating that to the modern era which is now entwined with electronics... PS> some of the old design is still best!!.. :-) I am not talking about tolerances and quality...not many would believe that.... Onwards and upwards lets go!!...

the way you approach and handle the cars, show your admiration or dare I say addiction to these goddesses. And your quiet and knowledgeable way of nerding off on little details with all the tidbits surrounding their origin is actually captivating. the more details you give the more addicted I become. Love the channel already, with a huge tip of the hat to Harry's Garage for cultivating the soil for your channel to spin off of. This is exactly what TH-cam was meant to be, I can imagine.
