Your point (be)came very clear Jouko. I think the difference is that Harry collects and loves his cars like his own children, whereas Iain actually restores them, as well as loving them.

What a fascinating video, the best around (along with Harry’s Garage). It is no wonder Iain’s company has a world class reputation and he clearly employs only the very best talent. The range of cars he is working on is huge and it is a shame he doesn’t have the time to release a video every couple of days or so! I still regard the Miura as the most beautiful car ever made and quite simply a work of art.
Everything and everyone in the workshop is beautiful craftsmanship by world class craftsmen, a joy to watch. Btw, it looks like the buyer of the £1.25million Miura didn't get much decent metal for their money?! It'll be 150% better after being Tyrrell'ed into perfection..
I saw Harry Metcalfe tweeting a link to a Telegraph article where they refer to him as 'the David Attenborough of cars'. As knowledgeable as Harry is, he comes across as a very wealthy man who simply throws money at classic supercars, whereas Iain's knowledge is off the scale. I congratulate you all for being the gentle people who set a high standard one would hope to experience in daily life. Keep up the good.
Great vid Iain, That Lambo is like a total new bespoke chassis...and as you said about the 308, it makes you wonder about the true condition of a lot of classic cars driving around on a sunny day like today! Great content as ever, please keep them coming. 👍🏻
Just amazing, these are works of art, you think you’ve seen the rarest of the rare then there’s another, then another and another. There can’t be many, if any, workshops the world who could, or would want, to handle cars of this rarity and value while being in such dire condition. Ian T really is at the top of his game, master fabricators combine with a lifetimes knowledge, skill and experience to save these cars. Almost unique on YT, someone who actually does know what he’s talking about.
Not a big fan of Italian workmanship... but as you have said many times before, They never expected these cars to be still going 50 years later... Especially the Prototype.... It is good to see amazing British craftsmen bringing them back to life....Because they do look Delightful and sound even better.... :-))))
The Lamborghini Silhouette is am amazingly modern looking design. Never seen one, which is hardly surprising if only 54 were built. Lovely looking car.
What an honor to see so many legendary car's in one episode & to be able to follow-up with each car's restoration process, truly magnificent👍 Thanks for putting it together Iain, Stay Safe👍
A genuine, well spoken and well mannered gentleman in the automotive industry such as Mr Ian Tyrrell is much rarer than a beautiful SV Miura. Watching from Thailand 👍
I want to just patiently walk around for as long as I want, just looking at stuff and asking the stray question here and there. Just quietly enjoying all of those cars and parts in the same room.
Thank you Mr.Tyrrell, and team, for sharing your world with the rest of us, I sit mesmerised watching in awe at the craftsmanship, care and attention to detail you all show.
this vlog explains reasonbly why restorations are so valueable and utterly expensive... All this work takes hundreds of hours of precious and valueable labour..... THX 4 sharing and for the good work Iain!!!!
Superb video as ever. You and your boys must pinch yourself coming in to work on these wonderful machines everyday. Truly a passion rather than a job. Thanks for sharing.
Mr. Tyrrell looks to be a great boss. What a wonderful privilege it must be, to work at such a place. Please continue producing your detailed, knowledge imbibed, fascinating and unique content. Thank you. 👍
Fascinating to see the metal fabrication and reupholstering being documented at least in part. I would really enjoy seeing these artful refurbishments being accomplished in greater detail; once completed they become a world of the "unseen". Therefore, more insight into said restorations as they progress would be appreciated very much.
You know you're a Gentleman Driver when you have your car at Tyrrells Classic Workshop. Just superb. I do hope they fill in the awful Federal Reflector holes in that lovely Miura when it goes back to lime green.

It’s a Petrol heads wet dream! That workshop has more exotica than a classic car show. Love the work you do Iain (and colleagues) your passion and experience shows through with each video. You can’t buy that level of expertise!!
What a great gentleman and what a great boss Iain really is. His appreciation for his employees is genuine and he is not shy to show it. I can't imagine anyone seeing this not wanting to work for him, and it's really apparent that there is a genuine atmosphere of calm and happiness in the workshop. My esteem for Iain went up even more, well done!
Another fantastic video. Great to see younger guys who are artisans at their trade. Often these kinds of fantastic skills are left in the hands of men in their 60's and later.

I couldnt afford to even look in the window of this shop, and here I am getting a personal tour from everyone!!! Im so happy
Im a welder and metalworker myself and my jaw was on the table for most of this video. Outstanding craftsmanship.
I’m so glad that there are people with the means to preserve these cars no matter what the cost.
Cannot wait to see that lime green resto! Such a stable of talented craftsmen... One of my favourite shows to watch!
What an honor to see so many legendary car's in one episode & to be able to follow-up with each car's restoration process, truly magnificent👍
Thanks for putting it together Iain, Stay Safe👍
A genuine, well spoken and well mannered gentleman in the automotive industry such as Mr Ian Tyrrell is much rarer than a beautiful SV Miura. Watching from Thailand 👍
Petition to strap a gopro onto James just so we can see this man work at all times.
People like James and Craig are worth more than their weight in gold.
If i cant work in my dream job at least I can watch others doing it with no Discovery channel BS. This is just brilliant content.
Man the quality of work his shop produces is just stellar. Must rival or exceed a restoration done at the factory.
The rear haunches on that Miura SV !.....WOW.............The knowledge and skills in this Workshop are just Incredible.
They’re not (just) cars, they’re works of art. As an artist and art lover, this channel does them justice. Thank you so much for these videos.
You know you're a Gentleman Driver when you have your car at Tyrrells Classic Workshop. Just superb. I do hope they fill in the awful Federal Reflector holes in that lovely Miura when it goes back to lime green.
There can’t be many guys like Tyrrell left in the world.....
excellent update of the goings on in the workshop, I am really looking forward to see the progress of some of these beautiful pieces art and cant wait to watch you fine tune there hearts with your highest of technology bit of hose pipe.
thanks for taking the time to keep us updated and brightening up my Saturday evening .
It’s a Petrol heads wet dream! That workshop has more exotica than a classic car show.
Love the work you do Iain (and colleagues) your passion and experience shows through with each video. You can’t buy that level of expertise!!
Mr Tyrell, we need more of the progress on the projects, incredible work must be shown and appreciated by us mere mortals.
James does amazing work
Another fantastic video. Great to see younger guys who are artisans at their trade. Often these kinds of fantastic skills are left in the hands of men in their 60's and later.
Tremendous to see the skill of both those craftsmen but the upholsterer really did it for me. This is the best channel on TH-cam and it shows why network tv is dead
I spent most of my time as an apprentice lapping in valves in cylinder heads then building syncromesh hubs on 70s gearboxes. I used to watch the older mechanics as they listened and tuned weber, stromberg and SU carbs. Your channel brings it all back....
This channel is the best automotive on TH-cam by a distance.
I cannot believe I live less than 20 miles from the workshop.
