This more than a single song, Alan and another guy Patrick Cowley an Hign Energy Music composer have a lot of "little secret" to tell us but defenetivelly it is through their musc. Regards.
An anthem for my generation...this is the baseline/soundtrack of my high school years. I fell in love with this intro (Sirius) and the way it fades into Eye in the Sky...perfection. The mere fact that it is still used during almost every sporting event , basketball games, etc...truly shows it has stood the test of TIME. He really read my mind with these lyrics...Thank you, Alan Parsons.
I've always liked this music, since childhood, when I didn't really understand it yet... and now goosebumps are marching along the back from the first chords))) Bravo, Alan!!!!
Eye In The Sky always reminds the summer of 1982 when my brother, his wife, his toddler son and myself driving in Ontario, Canada from St. Catharines to Toronto, Kingston, Ottawa and Montreal for holidays .... the song was played so many times on the radio that time ... this great song was the soundtrack of our holidays.
Both of you watch old videos of the Bulls. You can record Jordan running on that court and loop that intro. I mean big Jordan years. He was still flying like superman in that air. I think Bulls everytime I hear that shit. I heard that through like a 3 peat plus of Bulls years. If they were on the court in those years these guys would never be singing they could read his mind. That guy would fly over anyone of these guys singing that like The Flying None when he was winning against the best in bb. Lebron who? Hahaha
Alan Parsons is an exceptional man, he is a GENIUS of music and emotion, I find his voice simply wonderful, and I like very much to listen to these marvelous masterpieces
And I was surprised that he was the one singing. Normally it was Eric Woolfson doing the vocals. However, if this was recorded after 2009, it would have had to be someone else, as Woolfson had passed from cancer.
Listening to this Alan Parsons song on Labor Day 2020, remembering it on the radio in the car with my husband in the 80s... he's been dead for 11 years... I still remember all the words, haven't heard it in decades
Oh, I think you will still hear great music like this 20 years from now. Great music is passed down thru the generations. I'm sure there are still plenty of Frank Sinatra, and Dean Martin fans out there...they just aren't the ORIGINAL fans.
Recorded at Medellin, Colombia for one of the greatest live DVD ever!! I was there, I thought I was dreaming until I realized it was real. One of the greatest life experiences ever. Thank you Alan Parseons.
There are some concerts that can't be missed. This is one such concert. All the stars and the Moon and the Sun were aligned perfectly and how lucky this audience was to be there and experience this concert. You can feel the electricity and energy and Magic just watching the video. Can you imagine the chills up your spine being one of those lucky concert goers. Just look at the tribute his singer gives him at 4:53 with hands on his heart and then with raised fists to tribute Alan. He knows this is special. I know this is special and you know this is special. Now listen and have this song in your head for the next three days and if this song is connected to a lost love then for the rest of your life.
Havent heard this song since the 80s. And for some crazy reason this song just started playing all day in my head after waking up. Couldnt help get online & look it up. So glad people still listen, like & post music like this. Great taste! Brings back loads of memories. Music today makes no sense.
His music? Do you know he had Eric Woolfson as songwriter and a huge team of musicians? He didn't do everything by himself and he was mainly the producer.

I'd be honored if some APP & late 70s/early 80s fans would take a listen to my acoustic piano & vocal performance of TIME PASSAGES by Al Stewart (a vintage Alan Parsons production) on my YT channel in tribute to one of the greatest songs of the era. Live acoustic with no autotune or digital editing. Thanks and RESPECT to the legends.

From North Carolina, at Guard, 6'6, Michaeeelll Jordaaan 🐐🐐
Any man that needs a friggin' orchestra behind him when he plays is a LEGEND! WOW!
That's true!!!! 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
One of the best songs of all time. And lyrics that mean something.
means everithing...enough for a life
The lyrics are about the fallacy of gambling (and the feeling of being robbed)... "The Eye In The Sky" is the gambling house CCTV watching its players from above...
So profound. A classic with a deep meaning...Thank you Alan orchestra and singers.

Ciao..Milano.. italy..
Tengo 64 años...nací en 1960...viví toda la música de los 70 y los 80...la mejor música de todas...luego los 90 nos regaló una buena década...y viví las copas de los mundiales del 78, del 86 y del 2022...soy un hombre afortunado
Rest in peace Eric Wolfson.., you are such a great vocalist for this man in their prime.
I can't believe this song still means so much to me when first dropped. Still blows me away. Love it!
Simply magnificent never get bored of it rewind and play again like old times….
Hermosa canción para olvidarte de todo lo malo y dejar que la mente vuele....
December 18/2020. I am the eye in the sky and also the ear in the sky, listening to this meaningful song!!! Who else is with me?
This more than a single song, Alan and another guy Patrick Cowley an Hign Energy Music composer have a lot of "little secret" to tell us but defenetivelly it is through their musc. Regards.
I think this is a message delivered from the universe thru Alan parsons project. They had been just guided.
Greatest intro to any modern song, Hands down!
Magnificent intro.. could last 3 hours I would listen days and nites
Put it on a loop? :-)
Me also!
Lebron who? Hahaha

I am blessed enough to witnessed this kind of masterpiece.... Legend
Thanks for sharing this full set orchestral. He is truly magical in person. Lucky to get an autograph from him.
I've listened to this song a million times.
Me too
Great song !
Me too. Growing up in the generation of good music of the 80s was a true blessing that we took for granted

Listening to this Alan Parsons song on Labor Day 2020, remembering it on the radio in the car with my husband in the 80s... he's been dead for 11 years... I still remember all the words, haven't heard it in decades
sorry you lost your man, best regards David ♥

정말 오래 전에 듣던 노래를 다시 듣습니다.
넘 멋진 무대입니다. 옛날 생각이 많이 나는 좋은 노래 감사합니다.
Just heard this pop up on my spotify playlist and thought.. I want to hear it live.. Here we are now and wow, what a performance!
Brought a tear to my eye, today's music will never be played in twenty years.
Would you believe I feel the same? It too brought tears to me. Just Awesome. This is a song I get lost into. Just absorb it. Love this Damn song.
20 years ??
Try 40 years
A timeless classic
You so right chris music is so bad today those were the real musicians
Oh, I think you will still hear great music like this 20 years from now. Great music is passed down thru the generations. I'm sure there are still plenty of Frank Sinatra, and Dean Martin fans out there...they just aren't the ORIGINAL fans.
One of the best I've ever heard. There is this spooky feeling about this music that I can't understand .Anyone there that can vouch?
Yes
It hits my soul 💗
Totally!
It comes from Heaven 👼🏼. I could listen all day 💙
I could listen to the keyboard riff at the beginning over and over and over.

Delicias para el alma❤️. Haber vivido en los 80’ sigue siendo un verdadero privilegio ☀️
Havent heard this song since the 80s. And for some crazy reason this song just started playing all day in my head after waking up. Couldnt help get online & look it up. So glad people still listen, like & post music like this. Great taste! Brings back loads of memories. Music today makes no sense.
His music was above the time, advanced beyond belief. I adore the artist and his awesome, fantastic, brilliant and outstanding music.
His music? Do you know he had Eric Woolfson as songwriter and a huge team of musicians? He didn't do everything by himself and he was mainly the producer.
Only artist that compares to those 2 are Rush.
To all who listen this song, you have a great taste of music. 😊

Maravilhoso o arranjo dessa orquestra. E o solo da guitarra. É de arrepiar.
