I work in retail and due to the virus I only work 3 days in a week so two days a go my neighbor that I always share my cake with them knock my door and said I would like to order two cakes from you and I would pay for it and I did that and yesterday her friends ask me to make one so I earned $180 thanks to you,just wanted to share it with you cause it helped me with two of my bills.

It is the most wonderful Lemon Pound Cake Beth, I made this today, for my brunch, and it was delicious. As I didn't have sour cream, I pour instead, lemon Yogourt, and it was fabulous as well, Thank you, YOU R D BEST!!

OMG, Beth!!! I made this tonight & both my hubby & I are in LOVE with this cake! I was worried while it baked because it took about an hour for it to bake rather than 40 mins (usually my oven runs hot, so surprised there), but it is so moist & light! I also used whole milk for the glaze (no heavy cream) & it was still perfect. I saw this video today & started pulling the ingredients together as soon as it was done. 😄 As usual, you’re my go-to for yummy recipes! This is def a keeper! ❤️

Hey Beth...was strolling for a pound cake recipe & clicked on yours. I must say I enjoyed your demonstration for this recipe. Simple & to the point. I tried the recipe without using the lemons because I was too lazy to zest them🤦♀️. However, the cake turned out fair. Only fair because I didn't take my time & incorporate all the ingredients properly 🤦♀️. I'm making it again with the lemon zest, & I'll definitely share round 2 results. Thx you for sharing!
I made this cake and it was fantastic: fluffy, moist, full of flavour. I made pound cake a few times before but it was extremely heavy and I was not happy to eat it at all.. Thank you for this wonderful recipe!

I tried this recipe yesterday, and -as every recipe of yours i've made- it was incredible!!i didn't have any lemons,so i added raisins, cinnamon and one diced Smith apple and it was amazing, with a very rich flavor and super moist. Great video! I especially liked the end part where I learned about the lemon thyme. I had no idea! I have thyme I planted from seed growing on my walkout deck, I will be adding this new thyme too! Yesterday, i tried making this cake. But i can't find sour cream. So i used yogurt instead. It turned out to be well. The cake is very soft textured. I love this recipe. Thank you for sharing.

Beth, u r my life saver!!! No wonder all my pound cakes which I tried were not sweet!!! I remember when I first made a pound cake, I looked at the recipe n went OMG. It called for exactly 2.75 cups of sugar. I cut it to about 1 cup n the result was a failure. But this cake was amazing. Thanks Beth
Adrian Lee I know right?! I did the same thing with my grandmother's recipe, cut way back the sugar and it wasn't as good! Sugar can really add more than just sweetness in cakes, it really does bring the flavor too :)

Beth lemon pound cake is my favorite thing ever! I always had to stop by starbucks and get their lemon pound cake but I know they are not that good for you since they have so many weird ingredients in it! I am definitely going to make this soon! I always had to stop by starbucks and get their lemon pound cake but I know they are not that good for you since they have so many weird ingredients in it! I am definitely going to make this soon! You are my favorite youtube cooking channel cause all of your videos are so elegant and well-made! Perhaps you can cut that cake so we can see the inside too next time? Thanks for the video!
Vivian Li Ha! I know I should have cut it! And yes once you try this, it will seem so much better than the Starbucks kind. I know that cake all to well ha! And this one is not as "processed" or sweet. Just lightly flavored and lemony, so moist and delicious! I hope you enjoy! :)

Hi Beth! I just did this lemon cake, the flavour is amazing, my kids and hudsbans love it. My cake was not the same as yours, my cake did not esponjo (I don't know that word in english). It not grow a lot. Do you know what could be? I want to bake it again, but I would like to have a big one. Thanks.

Maria Roqueta ha ha ha that ladle is so funny, I have no idea where I got it. I think it was my parents who brought it over last Thanksgiving when I needed it for the gravy :) When they see this video they'll probably say "Hey that's where that Ladle went!" :)
