    I did a ECU flash on my V2. Not only does it make more HP. Fan comes on at 199F. Rev limit is set to 12k. And 100% throttle response. SLR Tunning. Best tune on the market.

    Dude, I have that exact same bike. You mention race mode needed to be more robust. You never even took it over 8k RPM. That bike changes to a whole other beast past 8k. Your review is irrelevant to a degree. If you're going to give a review, then take the bike to the limit before you give obsolete judgment. Also, FYI, its ridiculously easy to change the modes from Street to Sport to Race. Plenty of videos out there for you to gain a little knowledge on how to do that. BTW, do some research before making videos, that's a stock rear shock made by Sachs. As another guy mentioned in the comments, it says Racing EVO because that is an up map supplied when the exhaust is swapped out. All and all, I'm really happy you are able to ride at 56, It shows a lot about your love for bikes. Ride safe and take care.

    Not the same engine, SuperSport uses the Testastretta 937cc engine, the V2’s engine is the SuperQuadro

    Definitely a great plug for Josh Herrin. Hoping he wins the Daytona 200 here in just a few days. He really loves his new bike and the new team, he is definitely allot happier and i think that will show in his race results as well, thanks for the review.

    I rode a Ducati SuperSport prior to migrating to a Multistrada 1260 S. It was great for twisties and sport touring. I did several 5 day 2500 rides with it. The only thing lacking was cruise control. As good as the SuperSort was in the twisties, I prefer the Multistrada. I didn't like the big handlebars initially, but started to realize that you barely have to push them to countersteer. I also felt more comfortable leaning the Multistrada further than the SuperSport. I just rode a V4 Streetfighter and had the same feeing about preferring the Multistrada.

    Hey, man. Great video. I love the audio quality. The yellow shock in the back is stock. I don't know why they make them yellow.
    The reason the display said "RACING EVO" is because someone performed an ECU flash on the bike, likely because of the slip-on Arrow exhaust. Normally there is no text that shows on the display when the battery power is switched on. It's also likely that the ECU flash was done by the BrenTuning company, as Ducati dealerships only perform ECU flashes on Panigales when the customer purchases the Akrapovič exhaust. Since an ECU flash was performed on the bike in your video, that means that bike was making at least 160 hp at the crank.

    Your riding it way too low down the rev range.
    The bike is far happier if you keep it up where the Revs go orange in each gear on the lower band at which point it pull more cleanly and smoothly, vibrates less and also gives you better power.
    Spent 3.5 hours on a 2022 V2 Panigale last Saturday and the thing is a weapon on the twisties!
    Was travelling around bends 20 mph faster than I was on my own CBR650R!
    It is pretty wristy and I knew about it by the end of the day which had an hour on my CBR to the dealer and another hour back but it wasn’t crippling!
    Back was fine!
    I am 57 BTW so no spring chicken !

    Great to get a review by an older guy. I'm 47 and contemplating the V2. I'm a bit concerned about the riding position as I get older, but the V2 seems okay. I live in a city with plenty of twisties, so the V2 could be perfect.

    • @RemboUSMC
      @RemboUSMC  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      it is definitely a hot bike to ride but I would take this over the V4 for sure. There is no need for the V4 power and for the money, the V2 is a better option.

    How bout that heat in the nether regions tho? I too live in Florida though central not south and this is what I am contemplating buying in a few months though the known hot running is giving me some due caution cause I do not want to be beholden to how hot it is outside to dictate my riding habits.
    I’m guessing it’s quite manageable because if it wasn’t then Ducati would never sell a bike in Florida but here we are.

    Ducati should have just made on bike and called it the SS. Option 1 is the Penagali Kit (low bars and controls). Same engine 150 hp. The SS with this engine would have been the hot ticket for the young and restless.

    • @rlsedition

      The extra HP is only found at high RPMs, not easily done on the street.

    • @rlsedition

      That extra V2 power is found at higher RPMs, not usually seen on the streets. The V2 riding position is a torture rack compared to the SS. Unless you do multiple track days, the SS makes more sense.

    i was all ready to hear big throaty sound from this much talked about bike and i was thoroughly disappointed, my old 95 900cr with stock engine and D&D carbon exhaust sound better than this thing at idle and at speed. with its expensive akropovick exhaust, who is he kidding.

    • @Pudekz51790
      @Pudekz51790 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It has an arrow exhaust and it’s the cheapest you can get fort the V2. Also you probably listening on your phone or through cheap earphones. I say hear it in person. The engine also has a lot to do with the sound. You can’t expect completely different engines sound like each other.
