When I first got this laptop, I was put off with the yellowish screen; I also noticed other users had the same issue with this model. However, I'm glad to report that this was easily fixed in the screen calibration. Just search for display setting and follow the rest of the steps.

Does its USB c has this much power or wattage? or how much the limit for this labtop or all labtops if there is a general answer for all type C's? . Thanks again and I'm waiting your answer kindlly.

Have you noticed any anomaly in the display? If you don't adjust the angle properly, you see part of screen already darker. Poor edge visibility. Pity, i had doubt about Nits of Brightness, and tried to play with settings and colors. is it because of the glossy panel? Or its a cheap quality?

Don't you will get much better long term support from Lenovo, as they have just certified a whole line of their machines for Linux(Red Hat, and Ubuntu preinstalled) with them giving direct driver support being upstreamed to the Linux kernel itself, which means better support for almost all Linux distros, plus their support forums are much better when you need help as I was still able to get help with one of my older Lenovo Thinkpad X120e machines last year through their forums, along with overall build quality. Lenovo is just a better overall long term value for your money in laptops/notebooks.

Careful! I bought this laptop, but the 15.6 inch
variant with ryzen 7 and 16gb ram. I have to say
I was very disappointed with the display at 250
nits and the colour was way off. 400 nits not in Europe. Final straw was
poor connection for college streaming. It kept
cutting out but my two year old hp pavillion
was working fine for the same online lecture!
Luckily, I was able to return it despite using it
and swapped it for the mac book pro although
paying dot more, but wow 500 nits, like night
and day. Guys lesson here is even though
processor is great there is a trade off in display
and WiFI ac. Pen is a bit gimmicky and you'll
never use the 360 screen in flip mode given the poor
display. Basically you get what you pay for. It's
a shame considering the processor but be warned!

I have not seen this mentioned/tested here, maybe because people do not expect it from ultraportable laptops. So- the screen on this laptop supports freesync. The range is 40-60Hz I think, which is perfect for the iGPU it has.

Got this laptop as soon as it was available on the HP site. One thing to note is that to keep freesync, and if installing newer drivers from Amd Site, do not do a clean install of the drivers, otherwise you will lose the freesync functionality. Clean installing driver keeps the overlay metric functionality but loses freesync, and doing a non fresh install of driver, keeps freesync but loses the overlay functionality (but can use rivatuner and hwinfo for that instead)

    • @jg8997

From personal experience, I have a Surface Pro that has a screen with less than 300 nits. I would say 300 nits is enough if you are mainly working inside a building. However, if you do work outside often with direct sunlight, then you should invest in a 400 nit screen. Just remember to consider your work scenarios to determine what the best option for you is.
