I got through 4 out of 6 books planned for Spookopoly which isn't bad but not great. Have started the last two, just needing to finish! Also I agree, listening to the audiobooks for WoT is the way to go.
i'm with you on the best reading month! august of this year was my best at 14. then i smashed that in september. and then smashed september in october. i don't even recognize myself!
Needless Street is in a class all of its own - one of the best books I've read in a long time. I agree that it's a stand-out of her work. I've read Rawblood, Little Eve, and Sundial, with Looking Glass on my TBR. She writes multiple POVs extremely well. Little Eve is second favourite for me of her work. Such a shame that many people give up on Needless Street because of the cat POV and it's the best thing about it. I love that she challenges our preconceptions and raises awareness at the same time
I ended up reading ten books this month, which is really good for me. I may have to try of Gideon the Ninth. I finished the the Nevernight Chronicles at the beginning of the month and I am gutted that I can never read them for the first time again! They are my new favorite series.
I managed 25 books for Spookoplathon!!! It was a great reading month and a fun way to read. I’m a mood reader so rolling as I went was a great way to play! 🎲🎲🎲
I love when the apparently ‘bad boy’ is actually the soft interested one in a romance and she is a bit messier, I just finished Talking At Night which was a romance in that style and loved it. Have added You Again to my wish list.
I had a blast with Spookoplathon!! I loved that you made a spooky version this year 😊 I am so excited to hear you loved The Demon King, and if you liked that one, in my opinion, the quartet just gets better and better! The first book definitely felt like setup to me as well but as you get into the later books you’re so grateful for that setup and I felt I cared so much about the characters. I hope you love the rest as much as I did. I still need to read the spin-off series.
I love your wrap-ups - they’re always brutally honest and I appreciate that. I ended up reading 4 (and a half) books during the readathon. Always a good time. 🎃🎲🎲
I swear I remember Caroline Kepnes saying somewhere (maybe twitter?) that she had 3-5 more books in mind after she released Hidden Bodies. So my guess is we're still a couple away from Joe getting what's coming for him. But to be fair to her, the only outlier in the breaks between books coming out was between Hidden Bodies and You Love Me. And the reason was that she was writing two other books at that time. I kept checking out her twitter almost religiously between 2018 and 2019, and I remember she posted that she was done with You Love Me around october 2019, but it didn't get released until april 2021. Not defending her, lord knows the wait between Hidden Bodies and You Love Me kinda killed my excitement for the series and so I still hadn't moved beyond first chapter of You Love Me lol
Lost boy by Christina Henry is one of the best retellings I’ve ever read and I def suggest you try it if your up maybe giving her work another shot. That book had me in tears 🙈
I always love this readathon so so much!! My goal was to do 12 rolls as I go about the month and I managed 15! 16 books finished 😊, 1 unfinished 😢, and I rolled 3 doubles haha!! ❤❤❤❤ Thank Becca for sharing this amazing game with us once again!
What an amazing reading month! I feel a bit more ready to tackle Gideon the Ninth after this 😅 I agree I feel The Girl in Red wasn't a thoughtout ending, definitely missing a chunk
Originally, I didn't expect to do so well during this readathon especially because it's in October, the month when I have my mid-term exams. So I was more than surprised when I realized I read 18 books. The Spooky vibes were more inspiring than I thought lol
If you want a super cute indie paranormal romance try The deadlight cove series by Aimee Vance and B Perkins - first book is called Smokeshow it’s amazing
Here's what I read in October Im glad my mom died by jennette mccurdy It by Stephen king Black candle women All of us villans The crossing by Michael Connelly Stone blind by natalie hayes A shadow crown by melissa Blair Romantic comedy by curtis sittenfeld You're not supposed to die tonight by kalynn Bayron The ex hex
Lynne speaking here love your haul some good books. I love bats where did you get that bat mug?
I love Catriona Ward's books, Sundial is my favourite by her (although strong content warning for animal abuse involving dogs, just as a warning!)

I’ve had the ex hex on my TBR forever!!
I loved that scene in Buffy so much hahaha Anya was honestly one of the best characters on the show

On rereading Savage Lands I upped my rating to 5*. 😂 if a book makes me read it more than once it automatically goes to 5*.
The Ex Hex was almost a 3 🌟 and Kiss Curse was a solid 3. Not reading a 3rd.
I've been meaning to get to Gideon the Ninth for YEARS and hearing that you loved it so much has just motivated me to finally pick it up 🎲
I had such a fun time!!! I got through 8 books! Congrats on having your best reading month ever!!!!!!! 🥳🥳🥳🎲🎲🎲✨
You, Again is on my TBR list. The Ex Hex and the Kiss Curse are fun to read. There is a third one also in the series.
I've only read Lost Boy but that book is amazing! Almost 5 stars. The synopsis was the thing that dragged me towards it and it did not disappoint.
Spookopolathon was the 1st readathon I've taken part in, and I had a blast. Like yourself I managed to read 12 books too ❤
It's been so fun to watch the Spookapalathon videos from everyone. I hope to participate next year whenever/whatever it is!🎲

I didn't read as many as you but October was also a solid reading month for me and I also think it's because of the readathon. It was so much fun!❤
Fable was not for me either. I DNF'd it early too.
Originally, I didn't expect to do so well during this readathon especially because it's in October, the month when I have my mid-term exams. So I was more than surprised when I realized I read 18 books. The Spooky vibes were more inspiring than I thought lol
10 books for me😊🎲
If you want a super cute indie paranormal romance try The deadlight cove series by Aimee Vance and B Perkins - first book is called Smokeshow it’s amazing
I read 11 books for the readathon.
I unfortunately didn't participate this year but definitely will in any future bookopoly rounds 🎲
I only read two books and DNFed one. The DNF put me in a bit of a slump which I’m disappointed about, but hopefully I can turn that around.
I wasn't aware it's possible to explain the plot of Gideon in such a reasonable way. 😂
Also, it looks so gorgeous with your hair!
Here's what I read in October
Im glad my mom died by jennette mccurdy
It by Stephen king
Black candle women
All of us villans
The crossing by Michael Connelly
Stone blind by natalie hayes
A shadow crown by melissa Blair
Romantic comedy by curtis sittenfeld
You're not supposed to die tonight by kalynn Bayron
The ex hex
I accidentally read The Kiss Curse first and The Ex Hex after that and I also liked Ex Hex better. 😅 4⭐ Ex Hex, 3⭐ Kiss Curse.
POV: you came here immediately after Becca’s September wrap up where she said she has high hopes for October
🎲
💚🖤🎲
I only read 7 books in October. Not my best month.
