If you like looking for hints in a story, you should try Wars of Light and Shadow by Janny Wurts. First book is Curse of the Mistwraith. It’s one you want to take your time with though and the author writes in a way to slow readers down. And still when you do rereads you find yourself asking “how did I miss that?!”

I started listening to gleanings after a re-listen of the series and one of the stories literally contradicted things Marie said in the OG books about what the scythdom used to be like. Made me mad

Omg yes with lightbringer!!! That series really is my favorite of all time.. and the red rising dramatized audio is my absolute favorite
I enjoyed song of the marked and its sequel. I didn't have to think too hard. Goldsboro have a set of them in hardcover if you're interested
Red Rising is not for me if one has to cry. Nope. I would rather read 3 or 4 star 🌟 books. Good job on your epic reading month.
