🌙 My favorite books I read in April were the first two books in the Stormlight archive and the bodyguard by Katherine center. If you haven’t read any of these you really should!
My favorite book of April (a bit of a "meh" reading month for me) was definitely "The Dead Romantics," because I finally found a romance novel that's not filled with smut. "Book of Life," the third book in Harkness's series, is definitely better than the second one, but as a warning, we still have to deal with some of the same plot beats and the things that need to get done are done kind of...quickly and sloppily, in my opinion. So just be prepared for some possible frustration again. And a lot of metaphorical dick measuring because as you said, Matthew (and basically all male vampires) are very old-fashioned.
My favorite book of April was definitely Dragonfruit by Makiia Lucier (which surprise me because I almost never pick up YA fantasy these days), and my least favorite by a mile was Family Lore by Elizabeth Acevedo.
OMG girl! You are looking so good! You’re looking so trim! (Wish I could say that about myself 🤣) Book of Life is definitely better than Shadow of Night. I hope you enjoy it when you get around to reading it! 🌕
I have read Discovery of the Witches way back so it is not fresh in my memory. I don't agree that is lot like Twilight [I read the series] so can you help me out with an example. Diana and Matthew are much more balanced and equals in their relationship for once.
I kept hearing the name of Dating Dr. Dil trilogy as "If Shakespeare was a N*zi" and I was so confused😩😩. I had an amazing reading month! My favorite was definitely Royal Assassin tho, such a good book.
Becca, I’ve just finished ninth rain by Jen Williams and omg it was like throne of glass mixed with robin hobb - I think you’ll love it!
I really gotta say this space bun / headband combo on you IS FANTASTIC you look so cute 🥰
I just wanted to say that you are so insanely pretty, and I absolutely Love the way your hair looked in this video! Super cute, love it so much! 🤩
I love your Crash Bandicoot on Curtis’s side table 🧡 I’m listening to you speak but also obsessed with him back there. 😂
YESSS FINISHED BEDROOM SIT DOWN ❤❤❤ SO excited to see the finished product 😂😂
Leaving a comment already because I need to watch the last clog first 😂
My favorite book of April was probably a tie between None of This is True by Lisa Jewel and Icarus by K. Ancrum. 🌙🌙

I had similar thoughts on my first time through Shadow of Night, though it improved a bit on a reread. I absolutely love book 3 Book of Life though.
Congrats making it through Shadow of Night 😆 I hope you enjoy the next one more, I did. The TV series is excellent. Gallowglass 💕
I haven't stopped thinking about The Imaginary Corpse since you read it in Shelf It or Scrap It episode 3!!! 🌕
Just spotted the Crash Bandicoot in the background... love it... "WOAH!" :D
