    I’ve always been scared to cut my hair on my own, usually my sister does it, but I really needed it done and this gave me the confidence to just go for it, I even added in some face framing pieces which I’ve never done but always wanted and I am so happy with the result. I really feel like myself and I think dry cutting was definitely the way to go, thank you so much ☺️

    I began cutting my own curtain bangs last year, and haven’t went to a salon since. My hair is just about the length of your hair beforehand, but I’m looking to cut my hair shorter than you did. I haven’t done a haircut on myself other than curtain bangs so I’m hoping this doesn’t go terribly… using rather sharp kitchen scissors and teeny hair trimming scissors lol.

  • @anetawisniewska7080

    This is great. I think you just need to be more precise about the front cut when the other person is doing it for you. You need to be very careful not to make it too short. Hair from the front will be always bit longer to match the layer from the back.

    When you do it, it feels so simple. My hair is really frizzy and thin so it will be a mess if i do it.😌

    Been cutting my hair more or less this way for a year. I have a lot of hair so also use thinning shears.
    Works well to add some wave with flatiron or velcro rollers.

    Crazy how Brad mondo has a video just like this one posted around the same time lol maybe this haircut at home is widely known, but after watching his then discovering this one, it’s kind of odd? Around the same time of “2 years ago” 🤷🏻‍♀️ I appreciate this video way better because it being self done rather than on “someone else”

    Hi Catchy! Do I need a specific scissor in cutting my hair? If yes, can you recommend a place/store where I can buy a nice pair of scissors? Thank you!!!:))

    • @CatchyCravings
      @CatchyCravings  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi! of course hair cutting scissors are sharper and maybe a little easier to use, but you can also use any ones you have lying around :) Since I know I would be cutting my own hair from here on out, I bought a pair of hair cutting scissors on amazon, they don't need to be expensive :) All the best!

    Edit: yes i did do it a little too short, thoug the layers look good and overall its even, its just shorter then i wanted. But hair grows back!
