The gauge in this video is NOT an X series gauge. My gauge is a classic gauge. I believe that is for the new version of the AEM requires the Brown wire to be wired in as well. I have heard it goes to Pin D21 but I cannot confirm 100% as I have not tested. [30-4110] Classic gauge only has: Red - 12V Power Black - Ground White - 0-5v Output Blue - Serial Output [30-0300] The X series has: Red - 12V Power Black - Ground Green/Black - AEMnet- /CANL White/Black - AEMnet+ / CANH Blue - Serial / RS-232 Output White - 0-5v Output Positive Brown - 0-5v Output Negative Hope this helps!!

My version does not have the brown wire, I believe that is for the new version of the AEM. I have not worked with them before but it does seem that it does need to have the brown routed as well. Mine only had: Red Black White Blue

Not needed for this type of install. The white one is the only one required. The blue wire is for Serial Output. The white wire is for 0-5v signal. Any questions lmk!
You may be able to do it without the gauge but I know AEM has the output directly from the gauge. You may be able to solder it in but I do not know the workflow to do so.
Nayz bro.. no bullshit, straight to the point, precise instructions, video and editing on point. Deserves a "subscribe'. 😉 Been having trouble getting proper info on wideband sensors. Thanks for the vid.
Yeah my s300 was upset because originally I selected the p04 setting. I couldn’t for the life of me figure out how to show 0-5v on s300. Well that was the problem. When I switched to the p0 setting it corrected that.
Hi! That is the same harness I used for my setup as well since mine is a 2000. It might vary slightly but for sure it won’t affect you since you’re OBD2B👍🏻 Just make sure you are wiring in the correct signal wire and you should be good

Do you have to connect the brown wire on the gauge to d21??

Nice videos brother but i heard you have to wire the brown wire to d21?

@@CJBuiltwhere did the blue go
Where does the blue wire go?
Not needed for this type of install.
The white one is the only one required.
The blue wire is for Serial Output.

hi, can i conect the sensor without de gauge?

I appreciate the sub and the positive feedback!
Where wire 4 going from 02senzor
Which wire are you speaking of? Let me know which gauge you have and what color wire 🙌🏼
What setting did you have the gauge on? P0 like it comes or did you switch it to p04?
P0 still, have not touched the settings.

Good to know! Thanks for the feedback!
Is yours an X series or the older style?
Bro, aside from the AEM wideband, is the PLX or MTX-L PLUS also applicable?
I believe it is, I do not see why not.
Only difference I would see is the output wire may be a different color on the other gauges
Hello! I have a p28 for my 00’ d16y8 with an OBD2B jumper harness. Does the pin out differ from OBD2A?
Hi! That is the same harness I used for my setup as well since mine is a 2000.

@@CJBuilt Cool! And we count from the ECU side correct?
Yes. Verify of course using the diagram but it’s the plug while it’s facing the ecu

What program are you using?
Honda tuning suite
Was this the aem x series ?
Hi! No this was not an X series.
Check the manual for the wire on the X series for output. It may be different than mine
