    I rented a universal stretch belt tool from O’Reilly auto, fought for over an hour trying to get belt on. Watched your video and had it on in less than 2 minutes. Thank you so much for your video, much appreciated.

    Good idea on the zipties cheap parts to make a world of difference on installation

      Yep, don't need that $50 tool to change the belt.

      @@ChrisDoesWhat how did u get the belt over the small pulley? It looked like you got it almost all the way on before u started turning the pulley. I couldn’t even get it a lil over the small pulley so when I turned the pulley the belt kept sliding even with the zipties

    • @ChrisDoesWhat
      @ChrisDoesWhat  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@fabiandelvillar1611 I put the belt past the big pully in the space behind it, then put the belt completely on the smaller puller. Once on the small pully, I pulled as much of the belt over the larger pully and then zip-tied it to hold it in place to rotate it on the rest of the way.

      Was doing it in a dark garage and over cranked it and it came off the tracks on compressor side and now I’m torn between cutting it and going to get a new one or trying to finesse it back on the tracks😪

    Man great idea brotha i will use this method ... but just giving some advice man you should really take that watch off you just never know my buddy had his wedding ring on smashed his hand and the ring obviously smashed didnt go back to a circle 😂 cut his finger half off just saying

    • @ChrisDoesWhat
      @ChrisDoesWhat  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, probably a bit safer. In my job in the Army we had to take off metallic items because of the high voltage. A guy lost his finger because of a wedding ring and DC current. Don't think the risk was as high here.

    What socket did you use on the crank ?

    • @ChrisDoesWhat
      @ChrisDoesWhat  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It was a deep impact socket, but any socket should work that is the right size for the bolt.
