    You always have such great, informative videos. I love meal prepping using mason jars, too. I prep smoothies, oatmeal and salads this way so I always have a healthy meal on hand. It’s amazing how fresh the lettuce keeps this way. I’m also going to try prepping noodles bowls as well. 😊

    Thank you so much !! I appreciate it so very much ❤❤❤ I need all the 'support' I can get right now.. trying to get 3 kids to eat well. I don't know if I mentioned it already but my 11yr old has eating/food aversion and likes to have boosts, and my 13 yr old is picky & likes to eat cereal and chips and my "husband" basically eats nothing but soup from a red box & boost all day long.. my Daughter and I love fruits and veg. But my energy & my loss of being able to have hummus w/ veggies for example makes me need to put that extra energy and time out..which if course I want to give my kids every ounce of me... you are wonderful, talented, caring and thank you so much for sharing so much..I've been watching your videos while I do the dishwasher daily. 😃 I hope your having a great day!! ✌️

    You might like a canning funnel. It really helps to get things into a jar. End of summer (ie, now) is a good time to buy them.
    I liked that your green onions looked like you bought them last week, instead of right before shooting the video. Very relatable.

    Hiya,
    Could you tell us the dimensions of the jars you use? (the links don't take us to them). I ask as I recently bought some mason jars, but they're way too small for the salad and noodle jar recipes (mine are 13cm tall)
    Many thanks!

    • @LetsEatPlants
      @LetsEatPlants  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey there! The ones I'm using are actually recycled pasta sauce jars! (That's why the ones on Amazon aren't exactly the same. 😅) They are 650ml, which is about 22oz. Mine are measuring about 16.5cm tall and 7.5cm wide. Hope that helps!

    • @LetsEatPlants

      I like any type of potatoes but haven't stayed up on prepping any.. I use frozen bags of cauliflower and microwave it to death 😂 but I don't know how to seasoned it. I was going for yogurts super easy but the kind that was affordable was full of sugar.. I've wanted to do smoothies and prep them in some way , my issue with that is my husband is sleeping when I get myself and kids up for school so I can't use a blender. I'd have to out my teeth in for a pancake, I haven't tried any style of oats with out my teeth, but if I can eat stove top stuffing without them I think oatmeal with out NUTS would be great. Do you have a Manyy ways of Oats play list? Or prepping soft foods meals list? Lol. Well I guess babies could eat, old people & like me anyone w/put teeth, some surgeries require soft meals for a bit ..BTW I absolutely love you! I have some hardships in my life right now (roof leaking with no way of fixing it) healing with my gums and re learning how and what to eat..I didn't realize how big of a deal it would really be, I love nuts and seeds, I love croutons, I have had a salad or greens yet. BUT I'm trying to stay positive to keep showing my 3 awesome kids what real food is!!❤ thubgs are hard right now and giving them diritos, popcorn,pizza and pre made soft pretzels & micro bag edameams are much easier.
      I'm also in talks of divorcing but he's contesting it. So anyway stress of living is literally making me sick, plus the mold from the leak 🤷‍♂️

    • @LetsEatPlants
      @LetsEatPlants  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@racheltarr5397 I do have an oats playlist! Check these out there might be some you like. 🤗🤗 th-cam.com/play/PLeDJscYFAHS8u7rzw43SmupczD2pRDNxs.html&si=86q7mZWzIHGuOIbD For oats, you can always cook them longer than recommended (another 5-10 mins. on stovetop, add more water or plant milk as needed) and that will help soften them even further. For smoothies, I actually make them in advance and store them in the freezer! So blend a big batch (when your family is awake 😅) and put in individual jars (leave 1” space at the top!). When you want a smoothie, leave in fridge overnight to defrost and then on the counter for 1 hour before drinking. That way, no morning blender noises. 😋😋 Applesauce and cinnamon is another soft food favorite of mine. Puréed soups would be great too! (Butternut squash, carrot ginger, tomato bisque, broccoli, potato leek…) All those can be puréed in the blender and you can also make big batches of those and store them in the freezer in individual portions (always leave 1” space at the top!). Sounds like you’re going through a lot right now… so also remember to be kind to yourself and hope you’re taking self care time as well! 🤗🤗🤗 Please reach out if you need any further help! 💕
